Definitions

  • the invention relates to a dirt collecting device for a cleaning device in the form of a sweeping vehicle and a method for operating the cleaning device according to the preamble of the independent claims.
  • a dirt collecting device for a sweeper is, for example, with the subject of DE 32 13 089 A1 or the DE 103 56 419 B3 or the DE 198 51 666 C1 been described. All embodiments and functions described therein are part of the present invention description. It follows that a dirt collector for a sweeping vehicle can only have a front or bottom side operated sweeping roller, but also additional, front in the front sweeping rollers, as in the front DE 32 13 089 A1 have been described by the reference numeral 10.
  • a flow rate in the range of 30 to 40 liters per second is required for effective cleaning of hard floors, resulting in a power ranging between 900 to 1500 watts of an associated suction fan.
  • the DE 16 58 383 A1 discloses a dirt collecting device for a cleaning device in the form of a sweeping vehicle, and a method for operating a dirt collecting device for a sweeping vehicle, consisting of a slidably driven over the plane of travel housing in which at least one rotationally driven sweeping roller is arranged, the coarse and fine dirt from the Abandles the road surface and supported by a suction air flow in the speed and / or power adjustable suction fan transported into a sump, wherein in the housing of the dirt collecting a lying in the suction air flow of the suction fan intermediate container for temporary intermediate storage of coarse dirt is arranged.
  • the known street sweepers with dirt collecting devices assume that the power of the suction fan is continuously operated at a maximum value to ensure that the recorded by the sweeping roller coarse dirt in the form of empty glass bottles, heavy stones and the like immediately into a coarse dirt collector can be transported.
  • a coarse dirt collector is for example in the DE 198 51 666 C1 denoted by the reference numeral 6.
  • a maximum suction pressure must always prevail at the local suction mouthpiece in order to ensure that the coarse dirt is reliably conveyed into the elevated coarse dirt collecting container.
  • this has the disadvantage that the suction fan always runs on a maximum capacity and accordingly the energy consumption and the noise emission of such sweeper is high.
  • the brush roller used on the front is designed so that it has to promote the recorded from the bottom side coarse and fine dirt on an elevated conveyor line in a downstream container, which is associated with an increased suction pressure and unwanted noise emission.
  • the brush roller fails to promote the recorded coarse dirt in the form of stones or other heavy, non-airworthy objects in the downstream collection container.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object, a method for operation and a dirt collecting device for a cleaning device in the form of a sweeping vehicle of the type mentioned in such a way that the suction fan used for this purpose works with much lower energy consumption and lower noise emission.
  • a device is characterized by the subject matter of independent claim 1.
  • the device is operated by a method according to independent claim 3.
  • the invention provides that in the housing of the dirt collecting device for a cleaning device, in particular a sweeping vehicle, an intermediate container is integrated, which is in the air flow of the suction fan and which is intended only - not under the effect of the current, reduced suction pressure. airworthy - Grobschmutz record, while the fine dirt immediately on this intermediate container away - even under the influence of reduced suction pressure - is transported in a repository designated collection container.
  • the collection container provided on the end bearing side is divided in it. It can be formed from a coarse dirt container and a downstream fine dust container.
  • the idea of the invention is to operate the suction fan in the cleaning device, in particular in the sweeping vehicle or the vacuum cleaner so that it only works with a reduced air speed, due to the reduced air speed only little energy is consumed by the suction fan. Accordingly, the noise level is reduced.
  • the rotating driven sweeping roller can absorb the fine dirt and coarse dirt.
  • the suction pressure is just enough to fill the intermediate container, which is arranged essentially at the same level or slightly elevated, with the non-flyable coarse dirt.
  • the filling takes place on the one hand by the mechanical energy of the sweeping roller, which is only slightly supported by the reduced suction pressure.
  • the fine dirt is conveyed (or removed) through the intermediate container at the reduced suction pressure and taken up in a downstream collection container arranged downstream of the final storage.
  • a halving of the air flow in the area of the dirt collection device for the sweeper results in that the suction fan used requires only a quarter of the energy normally consumed. Therefore, during the largest period of operation of the dirt collecting device for the sweeper, the suction power of the suction fan is greatly reduced (normal operation), because the reduced suction should be just enough to carry the recorded fine dirt in the end storage side provided collection container, while the recorded coarse dirt due to the low air velocity used is not airworthy and is taken up in a arranged in the housing of the dirt collecting intermediate container.
  • the air flow and the noise level are low and the energy consumption of the suction fan is reduced. Only when the intermediate container must be emptied, the air flow of the suction fan must be increased by a factor of 1.5 to 2 and, accordingly, the performance of the fan.
  • the suction fan works only with its maximum energy consumption for the purpose of emptying the intermediate container of coarse dirt, which is now made airworthy by the increased air velocity and is transported to the downstream, the final storage tank.
  • the volume of the collecting container provided at the end bearing side is many times greater than the volume of the intermediate container, with a volume ratio of 1: 5 being preferred.
  • one or more sensors are preferably arranged, which detect the level with coarse dirt.
  • Such sensors can either operate without contact (optical, ultrasonic, inductive, capacitive) or even touching with suitable, spring-loaded sensors detect the level in the intermediate container.
  • the maximum power of the suction fan requires a certain air speed, which is also referred to as transport speed, whose size is dependent on the weight and the dimensions of the deposits (coarse dirt) in the intermediate container.
  • the dirt collecting device used (including the front apron used) is closed on all sides in the direction of the road surface and only has a nozzle-like narrowed receiving opening on the front side in order to increase the air speed in this area again. This allows a high absorption capacity of the coarse dirt stored on the road surface.
  • the area of the dirt collector for a sweeper located in the suction air flow of the suction fan should be in the range of 20 to 100 x 10 -3 m 2.
  • the width of the front nozzle should be less than 50% of the width of the cleaning machine to allow the most effective dirt pick-up in the front area with high air velocities.
  • the advantage of the intermediate container integrated in the dirt collecting device is that only a low air flow is necessary to transport the dirt from the receiving level in the dirt collecting device, because the largest conveying portion in this activity of the rotating driven sweeping roller of the cleaning vehicle.
  • the dirt collector for a sweeping vehicle with a reduced suction power of the suction fan in the range of 260 l / s is used for the majority of the operating time.
  • the arranged in the intermediate tank level sensor thus controls the performance of the suction fan. It can also be alternatively provided a scheme in which the suction fan is controlled in function of the level in the intermediate container in its performance.
  • the power of the suction fan is returned to the operating condition of z. B. 260 l / s reduced.
  • a viewing window can be arranged in the dirt collecting device for the sweeper, through which the operator can optically control the filling of the intermediate container.
  • a vacuum cleaner which is designed either as a vacuum cleaner or as a vacuum cleaner, it follows that in normal operation, a power of only 250 watts is needed and only for emptying the intermediate container, the power is increased temporarily or briefly to 900 watts.
  • the local Figure 14 shows a complete illustration of a mobile vacuum cleaner with a suction fan, a collecting container and a associated fine filter. All of these parts are also part of the present invention.
  • FIG. 1 schematically shows the air duct in a sweeper, for example, with the DE 41 28 879 A1 or the EP 2 350 393 B1 is described. All features described there, in particular the chassis, the steering, the drive and the like are the sake of clarity in the FIG. 1 The present invention description has been omitted.
  • the sweeper 1 after FIG. 1 a dirt collecting device 2, which consists essentially of a housing 26 (see FIG. 2 ), which is arc-shaped with respect to its top wall 27 and carries at its front end a height-adjustable front apron 15.
  • FIG. 1 About a not in FIG. 1 shown supporting device is the dirt collector 2 after FIG. 1 movable over a roadway level 19, via the drive of the sweeping vehicle.
  • a rotatably driven sweeping roller 14 is arranged in the interior of the dirt collecting device 2.
  • the front apron 15 is thus guided over the road surface 19 in the direction of travel 13 and the coarse dirt 17 stored there and a fine dirt 18 optionally stored there are absorbed.
  • the coarse dirt 17 consists of a non-flyable in normal operation of the dirt collecting device 2 material such. As stones, bottles, cans and the like.
  • the fine dirt 18 is immediately taken up in normal operation of the dirt collecting device 2 and conveyed in the direction of arrow 21 via a connecting channel 3 into a downstream coarse dirt collecting container 4.
  • the output of the coarse dirt collecting container 4 is connected via a further connecting channel 5 with a fine dirt collecting container 6, so that the fine dirt reaches the filter 7, drops from there and is deposited in the fine dirt collecting container 6.
  • a suction fan 8 is arranged, which is driven by a motor 9 via a drive shaft 11 in a certain direction of rotation.
  • the motor 9 can either be an electric drive motor or it can also be derived directly from the drive of the sweeping vehicle 1 via a clutch and a corresponding intermediate gear.
  • the fine dirt collecting container 6 can coincide with the coarse dirt collecting container 4 and both containers can form a single container.
  • the two containers 4, 6 are separated from each other, which has certain operating advantages.
  • the suction power of the suction fan 8 is reduced so that only a reduced air flow in the front side of the front skirt 15 and in the suction side of the sweeping roller 14, so that it is only possible with the reduced suction air, that the sweeping roller 14 the coarse dirt 17 picks up from the road surface 19 and transported in Matterschtouch in the direction of arrow 20 (or alternatively in Untersch congress) in a subsequent to the sweeping roller 14, trough-shaped, upwardly open intermediate container 10. There, the coarse dirt is deposited, as it is in FIG. 1 is shown.
  • the recorded fine dirt 18 is transported over the intermediate container 10 away in the direction of arrow 21 either in the coarse debris collecting container 4 and / or in the downstream fine-dirt collecting container 6.
  • the power of the suction fan 8 is greatly increased and stored in the intermediate container 10 coarse dirt 17 is made airworthy by this increased suction pressure and is in the direction of arrow 21 transported in the coarse dirt container 4. There it is deposited, as in FIG. 1 shown.
  • the fine dust which may still be deposited in the coarse dirt collecting container 4, is still transferred to the fine dirt collecting container 6.
  • both the coarse dirt collecting container 4, and the fine dirt collecting 6 can be emptied from time to time.
  • FIGS. 2 to 5 show further details of the dirt collecting device 2 according to the invention.
  • FIG. 2 is shown that at the dirt collecting device 2 additional support and driving units 30 may be arranged so that it does not have to be fixed to the sweeping vehicle 1, but separated and can only be operated via a coupling connection with the sweeper 1 in the direction of travel 13.
  • FIG. 2 shows FIG. 2 in that the front apron 15 arranged at the front is pivotable in the direction of the arrow 34 and in the opposite direction and engages sealingly with front skirt-side sealing lips 35 on the associated front wall 38 of the housing 26 of the dirt collecting device 2.
  • the voltage applied to the front wall 38 sealing lip 35 of the front apron 15 is arranged height adjustable in the arrow directions 36.
  • a frame frame 16 is provided on the side of the housing, at the front free end of the pivot axis 33 is fixed for the pivotal mounting of the front skirt 15.
  • the front apron 15 has in the region of the front intake opening a conical constriction 39, so that in the region of this intake opening, a high air velocity is created, which is capable of both the on-road layer 19 coarse dirt 17 and there stored fine dirt 18 at least in the work area to bring the rotating driven sweeping roller 14.

  • the support and driving units of the dirt collecting device 2 may consist of rollers 31, which are formed vertically adjustable in the direction of arrow 32.
  • the front apron 15 still has side, conically widening side skirts 37, and the housing 26 of the dirt collecting device 2 is preferably sealed at the bottom side opposite the road surface 19 or leaves only slight gaps open to a high suction pressure only in the area of the front apron 15th to produce, especially where the coarse and fine dirt 17, 18 is to be included.
  • FIG. 3 further shows that the lateral boundaries of the intermediate container 10 preferably conically narrow in the direction of the suction connecting channel 3 and thus form cone walls 40.
  • the sweeping roller 14 is mounted on a shaft 42 which is rotationally driven via a rotary drive, not shown.
  • FIG. 5 It is shown that the receiving space 76 for the operation of the sweeping roller 14 in the housing 26 is closed at the back by a sealing wall 48 and then continues as an obliquely rearwardly directed cone wall 44.
  • the fine dirt 18 received by the sweeping roller is taken along in the direction of arrow 47 in normal operation and does not settle in the intermediate container 10.
  • FIG. 6 shows now in a schematic form that the level of the level sensor 49 is monitored in the intermediate container 10, 70 and when the level exceeds a certain maximum height, a sensor signal 52 is generated in the period between t1 and t2. In the period from 0 to t1, the normal operation takes place and also in the period between t2 and t3.
  • the periods of normal operation between 0 and t1 and t2 and t3 are shown only shortened. In reality, these are essentially time-stretched periods. This is illustrated with the formulas entered in the drawings.
  • the normal operating time is t B
  • the operating time in the cleaning mode is t C.
  • FIG. 7 now shows that depending on the sensor signal 52 after FIG. 6 the air velocity of a suction fan 8 in a dirt collector 2 for a sweeping vehicle 1 is increased from a normal operation of 260 l / s, for example to 560 l / s. During this time, therefore, the coarse dirt 17 from the intermediate container 10 is able to fly and thus removed, and when the level sensor 49 has indicated the emptying of the intermediate container 10, is transferred from the time t2 back to normal operation with reduced suction pressure.
  • FIG. 8 shows that by increasing the suction pressure in FIG. 5 In the unloading operation, the suction fan power has to be increased from about 1180 watts (normal operation) to about 3950 watts in order to achieve a sufficiently high air velocity in the period between t1 and t2 and in the period between t3 and t4.
  • the dashed line shows averaged therefrom average energy consumption.
  • FIG. 9 shows that in a sweeper 1 with a dirt collecting device 2, the suction fan 8 used for this purpose, for example, only 10% of the operating time with a maximum energy of z. B. 3700 watts must be operated and operated in almost 100% of the operating time only with an energy consumption of 1100 watts.
  • the table in FIG. 10 shows that in the emptying mode, the suction fan has an energy consumption of 3269 watts, while in normal operation the fan only has an energy consumption of 480 watts, while the brushing power of the roller brush 14 is always at 700 watts of electrical power.
  • the table in FIG. 11 shows the time proportion of the energy consumption of the suction fan for the dirt collector 2 of a sweeping vehicle 1 as a function of the operating time used. It can be seen that predominantly the sweeper with a suction fan of reduced power (90% time share with 1459 watts) is operated and only a discharge time of 10% of the operating time with an energy consumption of 3690 watts is charged.
