Die vorliegende Erfindung liefert somit eine einfache und dennoch zuverlässige Art der Befestigung einer Dunstabzugshaube an einer Montagewand, die auch als Raumwand bezeichnet wird. Vorzugsweise wird ein Adapterelement, das ein Blech darstellt und daher auch als Adapterblech beziehungsweise Aufhängblech bezeichnet werden kann, an die Raumwand geschraubt, dabei ausgerichtet und anschließend wird die Dunstabzugshaube daran gehängt. Mittels der vorzugsweise vorgesehenen zwei Sicherungsschrauben, über die die Arme an dem Deckel des Lüfterkastens befestigt werden, wird der Lüfterkasten gegen Aushebeln gesichert. Beim Anschrauben an die Montagewand werden vorzugsweise erst die beiden oberen Montageschrauben angebracht. Anschließend wird das Aufhängeblech ausgerichtet. Insbesondere muss nicht mehr die komplette Dunstabzugshaube mit Einstellschrauben oder mit exzentrisch drehenden Kunststoffzylindern ausgerichtet werden, wie dies im Stand der Technik der Fall ist. Somit muss bei der Konstruktion die Zugänglichkeit für eine untere Sicherungsschraube, die im Stand der Technik erforderlich ist, nicht mehr berücksichtigt werden. Das Sichern der Dunstabzugshaube gegen Aushebeln erfolgt erfindungsgemäß vorzugsweise nicht durch das räumlich sehr enge Anschrauben der Haube direkt an die Wand sondern durch zwei bequem zugängliche Sicherungsschrauben, die von oben durch den Deckel des Lüfterkastens in das Aufhängeblech eingeschraubt werden können.An advantage of the present invention is that it is possible due to the mounting method, the adapter element to be dimensioned so that is no longer visible from the parts for wall mounting after attaching the hood.
