Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of sports shoes, in particular the field of sports shoes comprising a rigid shell for skiing, skating, etc.
- the present invention relates in particular to a sports shoe with an exogenous rigid shell and a removable inner shoe of the hiking type.
- ski boots comprising an inner boot and a rigid exogenous shell.
- the inner shoe can be extracted from the exogenous shell to walk more comfortably, or inserted into this shell to ski.
- An example of such a shoe is described in WO2009/097550 .
- the document US4565017 also presents such a shoe which further comprises a heel reinforcement part articulated with respect to the sole and which has a certain mobility with respect to the rear part of the upper.
- exogenous shell ski boots One of the problems with exogenous shell ski boots is the transmission of forces between the inner boot and the exogenous shell.
- the inner boot is generally not fixed to the exogenous shell, but can slide or move inside, which prevents efficient transmission of forces and harms the style of skiing.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a new sports shoe with an improved exogenous shell.
- the inner shoe has a protruding pivot on the outer face near the ankle, said exogenous shell comprising a housing for housing the pivot.
- the exogenous shell may comprise a front part of the upper capable of pivoting with respect to the sole around a first articulation.
- the inner shoe can be inserted into the exogenous shell respectively extracted from the exogenous shell by pivoting the rear part of the upper.
- Buckles can be provided to keep the front upper part and the rear upper part closed and tight against each other. This construction allows an extraction respectively an easy insertion of the internal shoe, and an effective maintenance of this internal shoe at the level of the ankle.
- the housing for the pivot can be opened respectively closed by pivoting the front part of the rod and/or the rear part of the rod.
- a portion of the circumference of the housing can be formed by a notch on the front part of the rod, and another portion of the circumference of this housing can be formed by a notch on the rear part of the rod.
- the protruding pivot on the inner boot may include an annular groove to house the indentations therein. This construction allows a rigid connection between the pivot and the housing, and an easy separation of these components, simply by opening the front or rear part of the rod.
- the sole of the exogenous shell may comprise holes for the evacuation of water inside this shell.
- the exogenous shell comprises a largely perforated structure allowing the inner shoe to be seen and water to be evacuated.
- the inner face of this sole may include a pattern in relief, for example ribs and grooves, cooperating with a corresponding pattern under the sole of the inner shoe, so as to position laterally and in height the inner shoe in the exogenous shell.
- This construction therefore provides another rigid attachment point (at least along the axis perpendicular to the foot) between the inner boot and the exogenous shell.
- the invention also relates to an exogenous shell as described in independent claim 9.
- the athletic shoe shown is a ski boot.
- the invention could also be applied to other types of sports footwear, for example to skates, snowboard boots, etc.
- the sports shoe illustrated on the figure 1 features an inner shoe 3, shown in more detail on the figure 5 , and an exogenous shell 1 illustrated on the figures 2 to 4 .
- the inner shoe 3 is intended to keep the foot warm, and to allow comfortable walking in town, at the ski restaurant or in the snow.
- the exogenous shell 1 is intended to stiffen this inner shoe and to allow it to be introduced into a ski binding or into another sporting article.
- the foot and ankle are held together by the inner shoe, which has laces, for example, and with greater pressure by the exogenous shell when it is closed.
- the inner shoe 3 comprises various soft padding materials 35 ensuring thermal insulation, impermeability and guaranteeing comfort.
- the sole of the inner shoe and reinforcement arches over the base and/or the upper can however be made of rigid synthetic materials.
- the inner shoe is however not entirely protected by the exogenous shell 1 and must therefore be made of waterproof materials.
- the inner shoe can be made of leather, goretex, nylon etc, with soft padding in synthetic or natural materials.
- the outer shell 1 is for its part made of rigid synthetic material. Its structure is largely perforated in order to lighten it and to see the internal shoe.
- the exogenous shell makes it possible to insert or extract the inner shoe.
- the figure 2 comprises a sole 10, a front part of the upper 11 capable of pivoting with respect to the sole 10 around a first articulation 110, and a rear part of the upper 12 which can pivot with respect to the sole 10 around a second articulation 120.
- the inner boot can be inserted into the exogenous shell, respectively extracted from this shell, by pivoting the front part of the upper 11 and/or the rear part of the upper 12, as seen in the figure 3 and 4 .
- the inner shoe could be extracted or inserted by pivoting only the rear part 12, the front part remaining in the position illustrated on the picture 3 ; the pivoting of the front part however makes the extraction easier, and also makes it possible to reduce the height and the size of the exoskeleton if it remains on the ski.
- Reference 18 illustrates an achillary reinforcement pivoting about an axis 180 linked to the base of the exogenous shell, and which is fixed in the closed position against the internal face of the rear rod 12 by means of a tenon 182 inserted into an opening in this rear rod.
- the exogenous shell 1 can be closed and tightened by means of shoe buckles, in this example two buckles 112 113 which make it possible to stretch the cables holding the front upper 11 tight against the rear upper 12.
- the inner shoe shown on the figure 5 comprises a base 31, an upper 30 and a sole 37.
- the reference 35 indicates the padding. It closes by means of a lace 36 with a lace stopper 34 which allows the lace to be tightened and the stopper 34 to be hooked to a fixed point on the tongue 33.
- the inner boot 3 further comprises a pivot 300 on the outer face of the ankle, which enables it to be fixed to the exogenous shell.
- a similar pivot could also be provided on the internal face of the ankle, but turns out to be inconvenient for use when walking, so that for many types of shoe it is preferable to give it up.
- the exogenous shell has a housing 14 on the internal face of the ankle in order to house this pivot.
- the housing consists of a semi-circular notch 140 on the front rod 11, and a similar notch 141 on the rear rod 12, which slide into a groove 301 in the pivot 300.
- the housing 14 can therefore be opened respectively closed by making pivot the front part of the upper 11 and/or the rear part of the upper 12 of the exogenous shell.
- the pivot 300 therefore constitutes a rigid attachment point between the inner shoe 3 and the exogenous shell 1, making it possible to transmit the forces of effectively between these two parts of the shoe.
- the base 31 of the inner boot is hinged with respect to the upper 30 of this inner boot around the two pivots, so as to allow limited bending of the upper.
- the figures 8 and 9 illustrate two views of the sole 10 of the exogenous shell 1.
- the sole 10 comprises a front plate 102 and a rear plate 103 which constitute replaceable wear parts fixed under the sole. Holes 100 through the sole 10 allowing water and snow that accumulates inside the exogenous shell to drain away.
- the internal face of the sole 10 is provided with a pattern in relief, constituted here by ribs 101 separated by grooves and collaborating with corresponding grooves and ribs under the sole 37 of the inner shoe, in order to guarantee lateral positioning precise internal shoe 3 in the exogenous shell 1, and a transmission of forces between these two parts of the shoe.
- This construction also makes it possible to guarantee a constant positioning of the internal shoe in the exogenous shell, even if the sole 37 wears out following walking; indeed the bottom of the grooves under the sole 37 is unlikely to wear out, so that the vertical position of the inner boot remains unchanged even if the ribs of the sole 37 wear out.
- the exogenous shell advantageously comprises a largely perforated structure allowing the inner boot to be seen.
- the sole of the exogenous shell is composed of two parts welded, glued or mechanically assembled to one another; by varying the longitudinal fixing position, it is possible to produce soles of different sizes from a single mould.

Description
- une chaussure interne ;
- une coque exogène dont les dimensions permettent d'y insérer ou d'extraire la dite chaussure interne, ladite coque exogène permettant de renforcer ladite chaussure interne et de la fixer sur un article de sport ;
- ladite coque exogène comportant une semelle et une tige ;
- la tige comportant une partie arrière de tige apte à pivoter par rapport à ladite semelle autour d'une articulation ;
