Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an arrangement comprising a mounting device and a sanitary article mounted on the mounting device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a mounting device of this type is known from the prior art EP 1 936 052 known.
  • This mounting device comprises a mounting frame to be attached to a building wall and has only a single footrest with which the mounting device stands on the floor.
  • the mounting frame is connected to the building wall via wall anchors in the upper area, while a fastening plate is also provided in the lower area.
  • the assembly device after the EP 1 936 052 is therefore supported via the wall anchor, the mounting plate and the only footrest.
  • the mounting device after EP 1 936 052 is usually used for wall-mounted sanitary articles. Consequently, the components of the mounting device must be dimensioned accordingly.
  • the area of the pipe penetration is between the supports up to a height of approx. 70 cm if a toilet is installed or up to approx. 120 cm if a washbasin is installed.
  • the invention has for its object to provide an arrangement which allows a more flexible pipe penetration, in particular without impairing the stability of the mounting device.
  • an arrangement comprises a mounting device and a sanitary article mounted on the mounting device.
  • the mounting device for positioning or fastening a sanitary article, in particular a toilet bowl, a frame carrying the sanitary article with at least two or exactly two vertical struts running at a distance from one another and at least one or exactly one crossbar which is firmly connected to the vertical struts and connects the vertical struts to one another .
  • the crossmember also includes fastening elements, via which the sanitary article can be fastened to the mounting device.
  • the mounting device or the frame comprises at least one support element which is firmly connected to the cross member and firmly to one of the vertical struts.
  • the support element is a hollow body.
  • the hollow body has a front wall and a rear wall which is arranged at a distance from the front wall and which front wall and rear wall are connected to the respective vertical strut and the respective cross member via the side edges thereof facing the vertical strut and the cross member. Furthermore, the front wall and the rear wall are connected via at least one reinforcement profile and / or at least one reinforcement rib.
  • the support element is arranged in the installed position of the mounting device below the cross member.
  • the sanitary article has a support surface which overlaps at least parts of the crossmember and parts of the at least one support element.
  • the projection is at right angles to the front plane spanned by the front surfaces of the vertical strut see.
  • the sanitary article can be supported on the crossmember or the support element directly or via a pretext lying between the sanitary article and the hollow body.
  • Such an arrangement is advantageous in terms of good support and in terms of flexibility in the pipe leadthrough. In this context, one can also speak of a box-shaped or hollow-shaped sanitary article support.
  • the sanitary body In operation, apart from its weight, the sanitary body essentially causes a bending moment on the crossbar.
  • the support element supports the crossmember in such a way that the said bending moment can be introduced into the vertical struts through the support elements. In other words, parts of the force of the sanitary article acting on the crossbar are introduced into the vertical strut via the support element.
  • the arrangement of the support element makes it possible to dispense with a further crossmember which would be arranged at a distance from the existing crossmember, which leaves the space underneath the existing crossmember, apart from the at least one support element. This free space allows, for example, a drain pipe to be placed with greater freedom.
  • the term “firmly connected” means that there is a fixed or non-separable connection between the corresponding elements, via which forces can be transmitted.
  • the corresponding parts are directly connected to each other.
  • the crossmember is preferably spaced apart from the upper end of the vertical strut and the lower end of the vertical strut.
  • the frame In the fully assembled state, the frame is essentially made in one piece. This means that the traverse, the vertical struts and the support elements form a single component.
  • a supporting element is preferably arranged for each vertical strut, which connects the traverse to the vertical strut, the supporting elements being spaced apart from one another are arranged so that there is a free space between the support elements.
  • a free space is understood to mean that the area between the support elements remains free, that is to say is not blocked by elements of the frame located in this area.
  • the free space has the advantage that a pipeline, which is connected to the sanitary article, can be easily passed through the assembly device and can be adapted to the local conditions.
  • the support element is arranged below the crossbar in the installed position of the mounting device. Above the crossbar, the frame between the vertical struts offers a receiving space for receiving a cistern or other fittings.
  • the vertical struts preferably have mutually facing inner surfaces, the support element being connected to the respective vertical strut via these surfaces.
  • the support element is thus connected to the vertical strut via the inner surfaces of the vertical struts.
  • the fastening element is preferably located in the cross member between the connection point between the support element and the cross member and the vertical strut which is connected to the support element. Seen in the installed position, the fastening element therefore lies above the support element or in an area in which the support element is connected to the crossmember. As a result, the force from the crossmember can be applied to the support element in a particularly good and precise manner.
  • each support element There is preferably one fastening element for each support element.
  • the front surfaces of the vertical struts preferably span a front plane, the support element being flush with the said front plane.
  • the front surface of the traverse spans a front plane, the support element being flush with the front plane. • the sanitary fitting can be supported on the support element.
  • the front plane of the cross member is particularly preferably equal to the front plane of the support elements, the front surface of the cross member then being flush with the front surface of the vertical struts.
  • the support element preferably extends from a connection point with the cross member at an angle to the vertical strut, so that the distance between the support element and the vertical strut becomes smaller as the distance from the vertical strut increases.
  • the connection point is the point which is furthest away from the vertical strut with which the support element is connected.
  • the support element can run from a connection point with the vertical strut essentially at right angles to the vertical strut to a kink point, from which the support element then extends at an angle to the vertical strut.
  • the hollow body is a body which is bounded by walls, the walls being firmly connected to the vertical strut and the cross member. The forces are then introduced into the vertical strut via the walls, which can also be referred to as flat elements.
  • the traverse can be an integral part of the hollow body.
  • the reinforcement profile and / or the reinforcement rib preferably run along the side edges arranged at a distance from the crossmember or the vertical strut. The parts of the hollow body 10 that extend through the cross member 5 thus provide support for the reinforcement section 43 and the fastening parts 23.
  • Said tabs 45 are preferably spaced apart from one another.
  • the use of the two reinforcing ribs 36, 37 as support elements for the reinforcing section 43 has the advantage that the mechanical stability in the area of the fastening parts 23 is increased. At the same time, however, the reinforcing ribs do not form an obstacle for the element which is connected to the fastening part 23.
