  • the invention relates to a motor vehicle lock according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the motor vehicle lock in question finds application in all types of closure elements of a motor vehicle. These include in particular side doors, rear doors, tailgates, trunk lids or hoods. In principle, these closure elements can also be designed in the manner of sliding doors.
  • the motor vehicle lock in question today is usually equipped with the function "central locking", with a motor unlocking or locking the motor vehicle lock is possible.
  • a motor vehicle lock has the usual closing elements latch and pawl and a central locking arrangement with a central locking coupling.
  • This central locking clutch can be brought into several coupling states.
  • the motor vehicle lock is further equipped with an outside operating lever and an inside operating lever. In the "unlocked" coupling state, the pawl can be lifted by actuating the outside actuating lever or the inside actuating lever.
  • At least one clutch state "child-proof” and a clutch state “emergency locked” are provided, in the at least one clutch state “child-proofed” an operation of the internal operating lever is freewheeled or blocked and in the coupling state “emergency locked” an operation of the external operating lever is freewheeled or blocked ,
  • an adjustable switching element is further provided, which is coupled in the mounted state with an inner safety knob. This switching element is used to display the coupling state and the adjustment of the central locking clutch from the clutch state "unlocked” in the coupling state "locked”.
  • a central locking drive For the motorized adjustment of the central locking clutch is a central locking drive proceed with a drive motor, the drive technology is coupled via a cable drive with an actuating element.
  • the actuator is coupled to the central locking clutch.
  • the inner safety knob is connected via a lever-like switching element to the drive cable of the cable drive. Between mecanicanssknöpfchen and switching element a locking rod is arranged.
  • the invention is based on the problem, the known motor vehicle lock in such a way and further develop that the compactness and at the same time the mechanical robustness can be increased.
  • the preferred embodiments according to claims 2 and 3 relate to the setting of the coupling states by pivoting of the switching element.

  • more than one "child-safe” coupling state may be provided, as this "child-secured” coupling state can be combined with other states of the central locking clutch 7, such as “locked” or superimposed leaves.
  • the coupling state “emergency locked” can be taken about when, due to failure or a low power level of a voltage source for the motor vehicle lock, z. B. a car battery, no longer sufficient electrical energy for the operation of the central locking drive 8 is available. It can then be effectively prevented by bringing the central locking clutch 7 in the coupling state “emergency locked” a lifting of the pawl 3 by operating the outside door handle 4a. Once the central locking drive 8 can be operated again regularly, the central locking clutch 7, the clutch state "emergency locked” leave again, which will be described below in more detail.
  • actuation of the outer actuating lever 4 and / or the inner actuating lever 5 causes the pawl 3 to lift depending on the coupling state of the central locking clutch 7, wherein in the at least one "child-resistant" coupling state, an actuation of the inner actuating lever 5 is freewheeled or blocked. A lifting of the pawl 3 and thus opening of the motor vehicle lock associated closure element by actuation of the corresponding inner door handle 5 a is thus prevented.
  • the coupling state "emergency locked” in the coupling state “emergency locked” an operation of the external actuating lever 4 is free running or blocked. It is preferred that the coupling state “emergency locked” corresponds to a coupling state "centrally locked”. This means that in the coupling state “emergency locked” a lifting of the pawl 3 is effectively prevented by both the operation of the outside door handle and - beyond the coupling state "emergency locked” in the strict sense - by operating the door inner handle 5a. This variant corresponds to the embodiment shown in the drawing and will be described in more detail below.
  • the coupling state "ground state” is also provided, in which case in principle any desired behavior of the central locking coupling 7 can be provided.
  • any further coupling states of the central locking clutch 7 can also be provided. According to an embodiment which corresponds to that in the drawing and is preferred insofar, it is provided that in the Clutch state "ground state” causes both actuation of the inner actuating lever 5 and an actuation of the external actuating lever 4, a lifting of the pawl 3. Then the coupling state "basic state” corresponds to the coupling state "unlocked"
  • the proposed motor vehicle lock is now characterized in that the switching element 9 in a parental control position - shown in the Fig. 4 - And in an emergency locking position - shown in the Fig. 5 - It can be adjusted that an adjustment of the switching element 9 in the child safety position brings the central locking clutch 7 in the at least one coupling state "child-proof” and that an adjustment of the switching element 9 in the emergency locking position brings the central locking clutch 7 in the coupling state "emergency locked".
  • the proposal therefore, by adjusting a single element, here by adjusting the switching element 9, the central locking clutch 7 either in the coupling state "child-proof” or in the coupling state "not locked” are brought.
  • the switching element 9 is a rotary nut 9a.
  • the switching element 9 may also be a slide switch or a lever.
  • the switching element 9 can be adjusted by a first pivoting movement in the child safety position and by a second pivoting movement in the emergency locking position.
  • the second pivoting movement may be a continuation of the first pivoting movement.
  • the switching element 9 can be adjusted to a basic position. This corresponds to the position of the switching element 9 in the Fig. 1 to 3 , In this case, it is preferable that an adjustment of the switching element 9 in the basic position brings the central locking clutch 7 in the coupling state "ground state". The central locking clutch 7 then works so far "normal” and without any special influence by the switching element 9. However, it can be provided by a different arrangement, regardless of the switching element 9 influencing the central locking clutch 7.
  • the second pivoting movement has the same pivoting direction - locking pivoting direction 10 - as the first pivoting movement.
  • the first pivoting movement is here of the switching element 9 during the transition from the position of Fig. 3 in the position of Fig. 4 made movement and the second pivoting movement of the switching element 9 in the transition from the position of Fig. 4 in the position of Fig. 5 movement made.

  • the central locking drive 8 may be adapted to bring the switching element 9 from the emergency locking position to the child-safety position.
  • the central locking drive 8 but also be adapted to bring the switching element 9 from the emergency locking position to the normal position.
  • the switching element 9 when the switching element 9 has been brought into the emergency locking position, without the switching element 9 was already for a significant period in the child safety position, so the parental control position has taken only during the passage to the emergency locking position, it may be desirable, the switching element 9 from the emergency locking position to bring to the basic position.
  • the motor vehicle lock it is preferable for the motor vehicle lock to have a control device 12-shown here only systemically-for controlling the central locking drive 8 and for storing a positional state of the switching element 9. Then it is preferred that the control device 12 is adapted to store a previous adjustment state of the switching element 9 when the switching element 9 is moved into the emergency locking position. Then, in particular, the control device 12 may be configured to adjust by switching the central locking drive 8, the switching element 9 from the emergency locked position in the stored Verstellschreib.
  • the motor vehicle lock is equipped with a motor vehicle lock housing, which is at least partially made of a plastic material. In a particularly preferred embodiment, this is a housing section which is accessible only when the vehicle door is open.
  • the motor vehicle lock has a motor vehicle lock housing with an inlet mouth for receiving the striker 2 and the switching element 9 at the inlet mouth user-side adjustment is accessible. Because for the inlet mouth an opening for receiving the closing wedge 2 is provided anyway, so that this opening can have another function and a separate access opening is no longer required.
  • the central locking clutch 7 has an inner clutch lever 13, which in a coupling position can be brought, in which the inner clutch lever 13 is disposed within the force action chain for lifting the pawl 3 upon actuation of the inner actuating lever 5.
  • This coupling position of the inner clutch lever 13 is in the Fig. 3 to recognize.

  • the inner clutch lever 13 is free in the first and second uncoupling position when actuated by the inner operating lever 5 and thus does not lift the pawl 3.
  • the switching element 9 is displaced by an adjustment of the switching element 9 in the child safety position or in the emergency locking position of the inner clutch lever 13 in the at least one uncoupling position.
  • This is done in this embodiment by an engagement of a switching contour 9b with the inner clutch lever 13. It can also be provided only a single uncoupling position of the inner clutch lever 13 for both positions of the switching element 9.
  • the central locking clutch 7 has an external clutch lever 14 which is blocked in a uncoupling position in which an actuation of the external operating lever 4 or runs free. This is in this uncoupling position of the outer clutch lever 14 specifically to a freewheeling position in which an operation of the external actuating lever 4 free running.
  • this external clutch lever 14 may - as here - be identical to, comprise or be encompassed by the above pawl adjustment element 11.
  • the outer clutch lever 14 in a basic position - here in the Fig. 1 and 2 shown - can be brought, in soft actuation of the external actuating lever 4 causes a lifting of the pawl 3.
