Motor vehicle lock according to Claim 10, characterized in that the external coupling lever (14) can be moved into a home position in which operation of the external operating lever (4) causes the catch (3) to disengage, preferably wherein the external coupling lever (14) is prestressed into the home position.
  12. Motor vehicle lock according to Claim 11, characterized in that the external coupling lever (14) is pivotably mounted, wherein the external coupling lever (14), in the home position, is in disengaging engagement with the catch (3) with respect to pivoting into a disengagement direction (15a) and has a freewheel in relation to the catch (3) with respect to pivoting in a decoupling direction (15b), preferably in that the external coupling lever (14) is pivoted into the decoupling direction (15b) by adjusting the switching element (9) into the emergency-locking position.
  13. Motor vehicle lock according to one of Claims 10 to 12, characterized in that the central locking arrangement (6) has an actuating apparatus (16) which is in engagement with the external coupling lever (14), and in that the switching element (9) comes into engagement with and operates the actuating apparatus (16) by adjusting the switching element (9) into the emergency-locking position such that the external coupling lever (14) is moved into the decoupling position, preferably into the freewheeling position.
  14. Motor vehicle lock according to one of Claims 10 to 13, characterized in that the central locking drive (8) is designed to adjust the external coupling lever (14), preferably to adjust the external coupling lever (14) such that the catch (3) is disengaged by direct or indirect engagement with the catch (3).
  15. Motor vehicle lock according to Claim 14, characterized in that the central locking drive (8) can adjust the external coupling lever (14) such that the switching element (9) is carried along, in particular by the actuating apparatus (16), preferably in that the switching element (9) is moved from the emergency-locking position into the child-proof position.
  16. Motor vehicle lock according to one of Claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the switching element (9) is held in a mechanically stable manner, in particular by means of a spring arrangement (9c), in at least one position, preferably in that the switching element (9) is held in a mechanically stable manner by means of a spring arrangement (9c) in the child-proof position, in the emergency-locking position and in the home position.
