Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mobile strapping device for strapping packaged goods with a strapping band, which has a tensioning device for applying a belt tension to a loop of a strapping band, and a welding device for producing a welded connection, in particular a friction welding or vibration welding connection, on two superimposed areas of the loop the strapping band, which comprises means for supplying energy to the strapping device, for example a rechargeable energy store for storing electrical energy, wherein the energy, such as electrical energy, is provided at least inter alia as drive energy for motor drive movements of the strapping device, and a housing with a front cover part for the tensioning device and a rear housing part, which is preferably provided for receiving the energy storage device, and a handle for holding the strapping device which is disposed between the front and the rear housing part.
  • a tensioning device for applying a belt tension to a loop of a strapping band
  • a welding device for producing a welded connection, in particular a friction welding or vibration welding connection, on two superimposed areas of the loop
  • Such Umreifungsvornchtungen have a clamping device with which a sufficiently large band tension can be applied to a band loop placed around the respective Packgut.
  • a clamping device of the strapping device By means of preferably a clamping device of the strapping device, the belt loop for the subsequent connection process can then be fixed to the packaged goods.
  • the connection process is carried out in generic Umreifungsvornchtungen means of a vibration welding device, in particular with a friction-welding device.
  • the belt loop is pressed onto the belt with an oscillatingly moving friction shoe in the region of two ends.
  • the pressure and the heat generated by the oscillating movement of portions of the two band sections melts the usually plastic-containing band locally for a short time. This creates between the two band layers a permanent and at most with great force again to be solved connection between the two band layers.
  • CONFIRMATION COPY Generic strapping devices are provided for mobile use, in which the devices carried by a user to the respective site and there should not rely on the use of externally supplied supply energy there usually.
  • the energy required for the intended use of such strapping devices for tensioning a strapping band around any packaged goods and for producing a closure is generally provided by previously known strapping devices by an electric accumulator or by compressed air. With this energy, the belt tension introduced by means of the tensioning device onto the belt and a closure on the strapping belt are produced.
  • strapping devices are also intended to connect only weldable plastic bands miteinand he.
  • a light weight is of particular importance in order to physically burden the users of the strapping device as little as possible when using the device.
  • the weight of the entire strapping device should be as uniform as possible, in particular in order to avoid concentration of the weight in the head region of the strapping device. Such a concentration leads to unfavorable handling properties of the device.
  • a possible ergonomic and user-friendly handling of the strapping device is always sought. In particular, the possibility of operating errors and malfunctions should be as low as possible and information about the operating state should be visible to the user of the strapping device.
  • the invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a generic strapping machine with improved ergonomic properties.
  • This object is achieved according to the invention in a strapping device of the type mentioned above in that, with respect to a plan view of the strapping device and an intended longitudinal direction of the course of the strap by the strapping device, the course of the handle is not parallel to the strap.
  • the handle may have, in particular, a rectilinear or even curved shape in this oblique alignment with the course of the strapping band.
  • the handle has at least two spaced-apart locations, with respect to a plan view of the strapping device, different distances to the intended target position of a center line of the each have to be processed by the strapping provided Umreifungsbands.
  • the at least two points should be provided on the handle in such a way that a front of these points has a smaller distance and a rear position has a greater distance from the center line of the strapping band compared to the front position.
  • the target position of the strapping band results in this case usually by the orientation of the tensioning wheel and possibly also by the position of the connecting device with respect to the tensioning wheel.
  • the strapping should in this case usually be arranged such that - again with respect to a Top view of the strapping device - in the region of the tensioning wheel, the center line of the strapping band is parallel to the center line of the circumference of the tensioning wheel.
  • the strapping band should usually be arranged below the tensioning wheel as well as run through the connecting device with the same band portion.
  • the invention provides in this context an improvement in that the handle is non-parallel and aligned at an angle different from 0 ° to the intended band profile of the strapping band, in particular in the region of the clamping device and the closure device.
  • a likewise resulting from the inventive design of the housing advantage is a facilitated possibility for the introduction of the Umreifungsbands in and for removing the Umreifungsbands from the strapping.
  • the invention thus opens up the possibility of designing the housing of the strapping device in such a way that the rear housing area does not interfere with the handling of the strapping band.
  • Preferred strapping devices can have a front housing area and a rear housing area, which are connected to one another by a central housing area.
  • the tensioning wheel of the tensioning device can be arranged in the front housing region.
  • a vibrating element is arranged, which introduces energy with a vibrating motion in the band to produce by local melting of the tape at the two band layers of a closure.
  • the rear housing portion may be provided in particular for receiving a rechargeable battery or another power supply.
  • other than the above-mentioned components of the mobile strapping device may be arranged in the front and rear housing portion.
  • the front and rear case area should be connected together by the center case area and the have arranged between the front and rear housing portion arranged handle.
  • the connection of the front and rear housing portion may be made by the handle and / or by another portion of the central housing portion.
  • the obliquely aligned to the band profile handle can also be connected only to the front, only with the rear or even with the central housing portion.
  • the inventive orientation of the handle can also be defined with respect to a plan view of the strapping device by the resulting different distances of the two ends of the longitudinally extending handle from the intended course of the strapping.
  • This course of the strapping band can be represented by a straight line.
  • a straight line of the two ends of the handle may be aligned non-parallel to the straight line of the belt, for example to the centerline of the strapping.
  • a point of a transition region of the handle in the respective housing portion or its surface, with which the handle is connected should lie in the middle of the width of the handle in a respective width of the handle resulting in a plan view.
  • a center line of the handle, at least a portion of the center line, should preferably enclose an acute angle with the intended longitudinal direction of the course of the band through the strapping device.
  • the angle at which the handle is aligned with the straight line of the band can be from an angle range of 3 ° to 89 °, preferably 5 ° to 70 °, and particularly preferably be selected in an angular range of 6 ° to 40 °.
  • Each individual angle value, which is located in the specified range specifications, should be considered as explicitly disclosed. An explicit mention of these values at this is done only to avoid an unnecessarily extensive list of angle values.
  • the angle should in this case be oriented such that it opens towards the rear housing area, ie, that the rear end of the handle preferably has a greater distance from the straight line of the band than the front end of the handle.
  • At least one display means is arranged on the rear housing region.
  • the indicating means is thus conveniently located behind the handle, with respect to a longitudinal extent of the strapping device. Due to the inclined position of the course of the handle, the display means is also in the use of the mobile strapping device in the field of vision of the user and is not obscured by the user's arm. The user can thus also read during the Umreifungsvor bland from the display means information, whereby a further improvement in the ergonomics of the strapping device can be achieved.
  • the display means may include a touch screen. The touch screen can extend over a specific area and display different information on that area.
  • a touchscreen can be understood as an input and display device in which, by touching a predeterminable surface area of this device, inputs can be made which either result in inputs for the control of the strapping device and / or but trigger functions of the strapping device. The inputs can be made in particular by touching with a finger.
  • the mobile strapping device in particular as described in the preamble of claim 1, be provided with a structural unit which the display and control device and the control, at least parts thereof, the strapping device includes.
  • the assembly may preferably be provided with the entire electronics of the strapping device. Since such a unit is preassembled, the assembly of the display and control device and the control in the strapping designed particularly simple and fast. Another significant advantage arises from the fact that in case of a defect, the defective unit can be replaced quickly and with little effort against a new unit. Since the structural unit is preferably arranged in the rear housing area, the mechanism of the strapping device, which is preferably arranged in the front housing area, is not in the way during these maintenance operations either.
