Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a suction mouth, which is at least partially surrounded by a sealable on a surface to be cleaned seal.
- Vacuum cleaner nozzles of the type mentioned are for placing on a substrate to be cleaned and for connecting, typically indirectly via a pipe, a hose and other facilities of the vacuum cleaner, formed with a suction fan of a vacuum cleaner.
- a recess in the ground such as a crack, groove or joint
- the suction mouth is surrounded by a seal, so that in the formed between the suction mouth and the ground, limited by the seal suction a high negative pressure can be generated .
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle is passed over the recess in the ground, air flows at high speed through the recess in the suction chamber, whereby the depression is effectively cleaned.
- such a seal has the disadvantage that when moving the vacuum cleaner nozzle in the sealed state on the ground coarse dirt is pushed in front of the seal and thereby a suction of coarse dirt is difficult or prevented.
- a vertically movable limiting means is provided, which is designed as a sealing lip.
- a sensor is provided for detecting a size property of the dust, depending on the sensor-detected size property, the limiting means is actively raised or lowered.
- JPH 08 206 043 A discloses a vacuum cleaner nozzle having in its front region an inclined, connected via a flexible region with the housing of the vacuum cleaner nozzle seal carrying projections resting on the ground. When advancing the nozzle, the seal is bent by the friction of the projections with the ground to the rear and thereby lifted off the ground. By forward and backward movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle coarse and fine dirt can be absorbed.
- the basic structure includes a suction head, which has a lower suction head plate with an open to the floor to be cleaned, channel-shaped suction mouth, supported on the ground support elements and a liftable and lowerable support plate.
- the support plate has in the working direction in front of or behind the suction mouth at least a flexible Abziehlippe rubber or plastic for wet suction of smooth floors, which is with the lifting and lowering of the support plate and retractable.
- a front when moving the vacuum cleaner front Abziehlippe is flexibly deflected during forward movement and stiffened in a backward movement, while a rear Abziehlippe is designed as it were inverse.
- the generic patent application US 2014/0 026 338 A1 discloses an autonomous cleaning apparatus having a brush unit disposed in a dust introduction channel and having a rotary brush for sweeping up dust, wherein a blade is provided which guides dust to the inside of a main body of the autonomous cleaning apparatus.
- a vacuum mop is known in which a rear side of a nozzle carries a Abziehlippe which is reinforced and supported by a flexible strip and a metal strip.
- a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a suction mouth known, which is at least partially surrounded by an attachable to a surface to be cleaned seal.
- the seal is partially formed by at least one elastic sealing lip, which has at least partially in a direction directed towards the suction mouth lower stiffness than in a directed away from the suction mouth direction.
- the sealing lip is partially supported on the outside by a fixed to a nozzle body of the vacuum cleaner nozzle elastic element.
- a vacuum cleaner nozzle has a suction mouth which is at least partially surrounded by a seal which can be placed on a substrate to be cleaned.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle is designed in particular as a hard floor nozzle, i. as a floor nozzle, which is suitable for the cleaning of hard floors.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle may have an adjustment possibility or a plurality of switch positions for different textures of the substrate to be cleaned, wherein in particular a suitable for the cleaning of hard floors setting is provided.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle has an unilaterally open interior into which opens a suction port, which is connected or connectable to a suction fan for generating a suction air flow, usually indirectly, preferably via a pipe and / or a hose and / or other means of the vacuum cleaner.
- the interior is open at the bottom and may for example be funnel-shaped or designed as a downwardly open channel, in the middle of which the suction opens.
- the down i.e.
- the suction mouth When the vacuum cleaner nozzle on the surface to be cleaned directed opening of the interior is the suction mouth. If the vacuum cleaner nozzle on a surface to be cleaned, especially on a hard floor, placed so is at least partially sealed by the suction mouth and the patch on the bottom seal Suction chamber formed, which merges upward into the interior of the vacuum cleaner nozzle and in which a negative pressure to increase the cleaning effect, in particular in a depression of the soil can be generated.
- the seal is at least partially formed by at least one elastic sealing lip, which is formed at least in sections such that it has a lower rigidity at a bend in a direction directed towards the suction mouth than in the opposite direction.
- the sealing lip can at least be formed in sections such that this corresponding to the respective acting geometry when attacking a directed force on the suction mouth has a lower resistance moment than in a force acting in the opposite direction force.
- the sealing lip can be formed overall with such direction-dependent stiffness or have this only in one or more sections. It can also be provided a plurality of sealing lips, which surround the suction mouth in each case partially, for example, in each case on one side.
- the sealing lip may for example consist of rubber or another elastomeric material, such as a soft plastic.
- the at least one sealing lip is at least partially supported from the suction mouth or suction from the outside at least up to a portion of its vertical extent, wherein the support by at least one fixed to the housing of the vacuum cleaner nozzle elastic element, such as a row of bristles, takes place.
- the at least one elastic element can be designed to be vertically movable and z. B. also be movable beyond the lower end of the sealing lip at a universal nozzle in a carpet position.
- the upper edge of the sealing lip is formed by a fold, wherein a folded part of the sealing lip supports it on one side over part of its vertical extent.
- the at least one sealing lip with respect to a bend to the suction mouth has a lower stiffness or a lower resistance moment than in a direction away from the suction mouth, it may be possible that on the one hand coarse dirt lifting the vacuum cleaner nozzle on the surface to be cleaned, the sealing lip and thereby passes into the suction chamber, while on the other hand coarse dirt located within the suction chamber is taken from the stiffer in this direction sealing lip and thus prevented from leaving the suction chamber. As a result, the suction of coarse dirt is facilitated in spite of a sufficient sealing of the suction chamber when placed on the ground vacuum cleaner nozzle.
- the outside support can be achieved that the sealing lip is bent by a force acting on its lower edge toward the outside force only in part of its vertical extent, while the supported part only slightly or not participating in the bend; As a result, a relatively high flexural rigidity of the sealing lip is achieved in the relevant direction.
- the support by at least one elastic element may allow the further advantage that this is permeable to the inclusion of larger réellesaugenden parts.
- the inclusion of coarse dirt can continue to be possible with a strong deformation or wear of the sealing lip.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the invention for cleaning a hard floor can be made in this way with simple means both effective cleaning of the soil of coarse and fine dirt and an effective cleaning of depressions, such as cracks, grooves or joints in the ground.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle on a forward and a backward direction which may for example be predetermined by wheels, which are arranged on the underside of a housing of the vacuum cleaner nozzle and are in contact with the ground when the vacuum cleaner nozzle to be cleaned
- the at least one sealing lip is preceded according to this embodiment in the feed and / or in the backward direction of the suction mouth.
- the suction space is delimited on the front side by a sealing lip which, at least in some sections, has a lower rigidity than that in the opposite direction with a bend directed towards the suction mouth.
- the at least one sealing lip sealingly abuts the ground, but slightly deformed by friction on the ground or when hitting a resistance, such as coarse dirt, and thereby the lower edge of the sealing lip Lift off the floor and let the coarse dirt pass into the suction chamber.
- at least one sealing lip is provided on the opposite side of the suction mouth, which in the case of a displacement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle in the rearward direction of the suction mouth is upstream and at least partially formed such that it has a lower stiffness at a suction to the suction mouth bending than at an opposite bend.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle has at least two, in particular exactly two sealing lips, one of which is upstream of the suction mouth in a feed movement and a return movement and which are formed at least partially with a directional stiffness to the entry of coarse dirt in the To facilitate suction chamber, however, to prevent the coarse dirt at the exit from the suction chamber.
- At least a first sealing lip is arranged such that when a feed movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle by friction on the floor bending and especially when striking coarse dirt sufficient bending occurs to let this happen while at least one second sealing lip is downstream of the suction, the the coarse dirt, if this has not been absorbed by the suction mouth during the first run over, because of their in the feed direction higher stiffness pushes in front of him and thus prevents the exit from the suction chamber.
- the lower rigidity of the at least one second sealing lip in the return direction permits the entry of coarse dirt into the suction space, while the higher rigidity of the at least one first sealing lip in the return direction results in coarse dirt within the suction space being carried along by it and thus within the suction chamber remains.
- sealing lips with direction-dependent or direction-independent rigidity can also be provided laterally of the suction mouth.
- the sealing of the suction chamber is improved and the producible negative pressure increased, so that a particularly effective cleaning of depressions is possible.
- the suction mouth is surrounded by a sometimes multi-part circumferential sealing lip, which is formed at least in sections upstream and downstream of the suction mouth when moving in the predetermined feed direction, such that the sealing lip at a suction mouth directed bending has a lower rigidity than in a suction from the mouth directed bending.
- the sealing lip may be formed with a corresponding direction-dependent or also with a direction-independent rigidity. Characterized in that the suction mouth is surrounded by a circumferential sealing lip, which has a lower bending stiffness in the direction of the suction mouth than in the opposite direction, the inclusion of coarse dirt is facilitated and at the same time enables a high suction power for cleaning depressions.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle on its underside at least two rollers or wheels, which are arranged within the suction chamber or limit this laterally.
- the at least two rollers or wheels are enclosed by the at least one circumferential sealing lip.
- the rollers or wheels may be formed in particular with a fixed axis of rotation and thereby define the predetermined feed or retraction direction.
- a distance from a substrate can be specified, in which the at least one sealing lip rests on the substrate in such a way that sufficient sealing is effected and when moving the vacuum cleaner nozzle in a corresponding direction by friction with the substrate, the at least one Sealing lip can be bent towards the suction chamber.
- the rollers or wheels can also be arranged outside the sealing lips.
- the at least one sealing lip is rigidly connected to a housing of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
- an upper side or upper edge of the sealing lip is rigidly secured to the housing, for example clamped or glued.
- the sealing lip projects from the housing substantially vertically downwards.
- the at least one sealing lip is at least partially supported from the suction mouth or from the suction chamber on the outside up to a greater part of its vertical extent as supported on the inside.
- the sealing lip is not supported or only up to a smaller part of its vertical extension than the outside, so that in a movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle in forward and backward movement respectively different lengths of the freely movable end of the sealing lip arise.
- the sealing lip itself ie the part of the sealing lip without the support, can have the same rigidity in both bending directions.
- the outside support can be achieved that the sealing lip is bent by a force acting on its lower edge in the direction of the outside force only in part of its vertical extent, while the supported part only slightly or not at the bend participates, so that a relative high bending stiffness of the sealing lip can be achieved;
- a missing or over a small part of the height extending support of the sealing lip on its inside that the sealing lip participates with almost its entire free height at the bend when at its lower edge, a force acts in the direction of the inside, so that the sealing lip Therefore, in this direction has a relatively low bending stiffness.
- the at least one elastic element attached to the housing of the vacuum cleaner nozzle may advantageously be at least one row of bristles.
- the support can thus be done in particular by a fixed to the housing of the vacuum cleaner bristle row.
- a row of bristles can also be formed by a series of tufts of bristles. It can also be arranged a plurality of rows of bristles or bristle strips for supporting one or more portions of the sealing lip. Depending on the direction of a force acting on the lower edge of the sealing lip, the sealing lip thus abuts against the row of bristles and is not or less strongly bent in this area.
- a support through a bristle row has the advantages that a row of bristles is permeable to the absorption of larger convincedsaugenden parts and that the bristles an additional cleaning effect or a release of fine and coarse dirt is enabled. Furthermore, it can thereby be made possible that even with a strong deflection of the sealing lip or wear of the sealing lip, the vacuum cleaner nozzle remains functional, especially when a resting of at least one row of bristles only a small pushing force for moving the vacuum cleaner nozzle is needed.
- the rows of bristles or bristle strips can be made vertically movable and z. B. in a universal nozzle in a carpet position also be moved beyond the lower end of the sealing lip addition.
- the at least one elastic element attached to the housing of the vacuum cleaner nozzle may be formed as a flexible wall. It can also be provided, for example, in addition to a row of bristles a flexible wall for supporting the at least one sealing lip.
- the flexible wall may be made of rubber or other elastomeric material, such as a soft plastic.
- the sealing lip is supported on the outside over more than half of its vertical extent or its free height, while it is not supported on the inside or over a smaller part of its vertical extent.
- a particularly effective embodiment of the sealing lip for receiving coarse dirt in the Suction chamber and preventing the escape of coarse dirt from the suction chamber allows.
- this can also be a particularly effective additional cleaning effect made possible by the action of the bristles.
- the at least one sealing lip may be supported by a circulating traction means, such as a plastic or metal strip or a circumferential ring, such as a wire.
- the circulating traction means may also be part of a circumferential sealing lip.
- the at least one sealing lip is cut from its lower edge forth to a lower edge of the support, so that individual sealing lip fins, or segments arise.
- the distance between two incisions may be approximately between 1 cm and 10 cm, advantageously between 2 cm and 7 cm, in a particularly advantageous manner between 3 cm and 4 cm.
- the sealing lip is rounded or chamfered on its lower edge on the outside. As a result, the entry of dirt particles in the suction chamber is facilitated. The escape of dirt particles from the suction chamber can be effectively prevented in particular by the fact that the sealing lip is not rounded at its lower edge on the inside or bevelled.
- a vacuum cleaner nozzle 1 for example, by a housing of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 1 formed nozzle body 2, to which a suction nozzle 3 attaches.
- a suction pipe or a suction hose for connection to a vacuum cleaner which includes a suction fan, are connected.
- the suction nozzle 3 opens into a suction port 4 in the channel-shaped, longitudinally open interior 20 of the nozzle body 2, whose longitudinal side opening the Suction mouth 5 forms.
- the suction mouth 5 extends transversely to a predetermined direction of movement, which is defined by the arranged at the ends of the suction mouth 5 wheels 6.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle 1 is guided alternately along the predetermined direction alternately in a forward and a backward movement.
- the predetermined forward direction of the suction mouth 5 is preceded by a bristle row 7 and a bristle row 8 downstream.
- Fig. 2a to 2c is shown in a side view, is arranged on the respective inner side of the row of bristles 7, 8 each formed as a sealing lip 9, 10 rubber lip.
- the sealing lips 9, 10 abut the rows of bristles 7, 8 and are parallel to the bristle rows 7, 8 directed vertically downwards.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle 1 is placed on a bottom 11, which is in particular a hard floor, keep the wheels 6 such a distance of the nozzle body 2 to the bottom 11 that the sealing lips 9, 10 rest on the floor.
- the wheels 6 front and rear closed suction chamber 12 is created between the bottom 11 and the suction mouth 5.
- the rows of bristles 7, 8 do not lie on the floor 11, but support the sealing lips 9, 10 over a part of their vertical extent against a bend to the outside.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle 1 moves in the direction indicated by the arrow 13 forward direction, the suction lip 5 and the suction chamber 12 preceding sealing lip 9 is bent by friction on the bottom 11 to the rear and thus in the direction of the suction chamber 12 and can thereby slightly from Lift off floor 11.
- Coarse dirt particles 15, which are located on the floor 11, can thus pass under the sealing lip 9 into the suction chamber 12, where they are carried along by the suction air flow and through the suction mouth 5, the interior 20 of the nozzle body 2, the suction opening 4 and the suction nozzle. 3 can be transported away (s. Fig. 1 ).
- FIG. 2c A movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 1 in the direction indicated by the arrow 14 backward direction is in Fig. 2c shown.
- the previously rear sealing lip 10 which is now arranged the suction chamber 12 in advance, bent in the direction of their lower rigidity, in which it is not supported by the row of bristles 8.
- the sealing lip 10 can therefore slightly lift off with its lower edge from the bottom 11 and allow the entry of further coarse dirt particles 15 in the suction chamber 12.
- Coarse dirt particles 15, which have not yet been sucked up, are already pushed into the suction chamber 12 by the preceding, forward sealing lip 9, which is now supported by the suction chamber 12, and which is supported by the row of bristles 7.
- FIGS. 3a and 3b show the front in the forward movement of the sealing lip 9 enlarged again in the FIGS. 3a and 3b shown, wherein the FIG. 3a the situation of FIG. 2b and the FIG. 3b the situation of Figure 2c shows.
- the sealing lip 9 is supported on one side over more than half of its free height, by which it protrudes downward from the nozzle body 2, by the row of bristles 7.
- the sealing lip 9, as well as the row of bristles 7, is rigidly fixed in the nozzle body, in particular glued or clamped.
- the sealing lip 9 can yield flexibly, pivot into the suction chamber 12 and thereby lift off from the bottom 11 (FIG. Fig.
- the same effect as by the row of bristles 7 can also be achieved by a solid stop rib or stop bar or by a hard rubber strip. These should preferably be designed with gaps in order not to restrict the distance of the nozzle body 2 from the bottom 11, which limits the absorption of coarse dirt particles, over the entire width of the nozzle body 2.
- FIG. 4a shows a rectangular at the lower edge of the sealing lip 9 cross-sectional configuration.
- the sealing lip 9 may instead have on both sides of its bottom edge rounding 16; As a result, in particular the entry of the coarse dirt particles 15 in the suction chamber 12 is facilitated (s. Fig. 3a, b ).
- the rigidity of the sealing lip 9 according to Fig. 4b is essentially as according to Fig. 4a , If the radius of the rounding 16 is greater and only the front side of the sealing lip 9 rounded at its lower edge, as in Fig.
- the stiffness of the sealing lip 9 is slightly reduced and the entry of coarse dirt particles 15 further facilitated in the suction chamber 12, while the exit is difficult (s. Fig. 3a, b ).
- the rigidity of the sealing lip 9 can also be reduced, facilitates the entry of coarse dirt particles 15 in the suction chamber 12 and the outlet are difficult (s. Fig. 3a, b ).
- the rear sealing lip 10 may be configured, wherein the curves 16 and the bevel 17 (s. Fig. 4c, d ) are arranged at the rear side of the sealing lip 10 seen in the forward direction (s. Fig. 2a to 2c ).
- Fig. 5 is the crossing of a recess formed as a groove 18 in the bottom 11 symbolically represented in the direction indicated by the arrow 13 forward direction. Since the suction chamber 12 is largely sealed even when receiving coarse dirt, a high negative pressure can be generated in this, the 18 when passing over the groove to a strong air flow through the groove 18 leads, the debris 19 located therein removed. This is especially true if the suction chamber 12 is also sealed laterally. A partial seal is achieved by the wheels 6, which limit the suction chamber 12 laterally. An improved seal can be achieved by a respective, laterally arranged sealing lip, which is not shown in the figures and which can be connected to the sealing lips 9, 10 to a circumferential sealing lip. Depending on the direction of the groove 18 to be cleaned, a strong air flow, which allows effective removal of the dirt 19, is produced when passing over the sealing lip crossing the groove 18.
