Definitions

  • the invention relates to an under shower with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • the invention is directed in particular to an under shower as an additional module for a conventional toilet that does not have a shower function.
  • shower toilets known from the market have an integrated shower function for the anal and / or genital area of the user.
  • a nozzle is arranged at the end of the shower device, through which the water exits in the direction of the area to be cleaned.
  • the nozzle can usually be extended, either electromechanically or under water pressure. In the latter case, the water pressure is used to feed the nozzle.
  • the shower facility is controlled by a valve that opens and closes the water supply.
  • the operation can for example be done manually - that is, by opening the valve - or electromechanically, with the electromechanical control triggering a pulse that causes the valve to open or close.
  • the flow rate can often be regulated.
  • shower toilets with an integral under-shower are highly developed toilets which, depending on the equipment, have additional functions such as drying function, heating function of the toilet seat and the like. Such shower toilets have basically proven their worth. However, their complexity makes them very expensive.
  • the invention is particularly directed to shower devices of this type.
  • a shower device that can be retrofitted as an additional module to a conventional toilet.
  • the known shower device has a fastening device with two recesses.
  • the threaded rods of the toilet seat hinge for fastening the toilet seat to the toilet bowl reach through the two recesses.
  • the shower device is therefore clamped between the toilet seat and the basin for attachment.
  • the known shower facility allows cost-effective retrofitting of conventional toilets. A separate water connection is all that is required for the shower function.
  • the well-known shower facility is quite high. As a result, the rear of the toilet seat is also increases, so that there is a risk that the rear section of the toilet seat will no longer rest on the toilet bowl. In addition to loss of appearance, there is a risk that the toilet seat and / or shower facility will be overloaded.
  • the invention is based on the basic idea that a particularly flat construction can preferably be created in that the line runs at least partially behind the cutouts in the fastening device. Only the feed line to the nozzle - which in turn is preferably arranged in front of the fastening device - is routed to the front between the cutouts. This line section can be kept flat for technical reasons, in particular when it is a hose-like line, as is considered preferred.
  • the attachment of the under shower to the toilet bowl is of particular importance. It must be flat on the one hand and stable on the other.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the fastening device has two fastening straps.
  • the fastening straps offer the possibility of being clamped between the hinge (for fastening the toilet seat to the basin) and the basin.
  • hinge pins of hinges reach through the respective recess, which can be open or closed, in particular designed as an elongated hole.
  • the fastening tabs are designed in such a way that their distance from one another can be changed. This ensures adaptability to different attachments of toilet seats and / or toilet bowls. At their rear end, the fastening tabs can be conveniently connected to a housing of the shower device, as will be explained in more detail below. In principle, a large number of materials are conceivable for the fastening device, including plastic.
  • a fastening device made of metal has proven particularly useful. It particularly fulfills the requirement for stability with minimal space requirements at the same time.
  • the fastening device preferably comprises two separate fastening tabs, each of which advantageously has a recess. The advantage of an independent arrangement of the fastening tabs lies beyond the above-described advantage of adaptability in that between the There is enough space for the fastening tabs to lead the cable between the two recesses to the front.
  • the fastening device advantageously has a maximum height of 10 mm, in particular a maximum of 3 mm, at least in the region of the cutouts. If the fastening device is made of metal, sufficient stability is also given if the fastening device is made significantly thinner than 10 mm, in particular thinner than 3 mm, for example approx. 1 mm.
  • the under shower has a housing with preferably an underside and an upper side.
  • the line is advantageously guided in the housing.
  • the housing protects the components received in the housing and allows their inspection when the top and bottom are detachably connected to one another, as is considered advantageous.
  • the fastening tabs expediently extend from the housing, advantageously to the front.
  • the housing is preferably arranged behind the fastening tabs (or generally the fastening device). This means that, in the assembled state, the housing can be arranged behind the toilet seat, which does not rule out that it also extends laterally to the front of the toilet seat, as will be explained in more detail below.
  • the fastening device is suspended in the housing, in particular in the underside, and can be displaced relative to the housing.
  • the under shower can be attached to different (predefined) openings in the toilet bowl for the toilet seat fixings can be adjusted.
  • the underside preferably has a grid that interacts with the fastening device. The grid also prevents the installed under shower from slipping sideways.
  • the fastening device is advantageously clamped between the top and the bottom of the housing. Such a construction allows the fastening device to be easily fixed to the housing and also ensures simple adjustability.
  • safety fittings In some countries, safety fittings must be installed at endangered water intake points. An under-shower is also one of the endangered areas. The safety fittings ensure that endangered tapping points are protected from non-potable water being sucked back, pushed back or flowed back.
  • a water protection device is arranged in the housing of the under shower.
  • the water protection can in particular be a free outlet with an injector.
  • a jet of water is sprayed over a free space into a receptacle, which can be funnel-like.
  • the injector it is possible to achieve a required minimum pressure that is required to move or extend the nozzle from its rest position into the working position against a restoring force.
  • the underside of the housing forms a channel for the leakage.
  • the underside thus preferably takes on two tasks, namely, on the one hand, fastening the water protection and, on the other hand, draining the leakage into the toilet. Additionally or alternatively it can be provided that the feed line of the nozzle is arranged in the channel.
  • the water protection is arranged behind the cutouts and the underside extends forward between the two cutouts. Since the water protection has a certain height due to the design, it is arranged behind the recesses in the advantageous embodiment, with the result that it is located behind the toilet seat in the installed state.
  • the channel on the other hand, can be kept flat and guided forward between the recesses. This measure advantageously means that there is no need to increase the (existing) toilet seat.
  • a particularly advantageous construction is characterized in that the nozzle is arranged at a free end of the underside of the housing.
  • the nozzle can be attached to the underside. It is considered to be particularly advantageous if the nozzle can be extended by the water pressure, specifically preferably downwards (in the installed state), in particular essentially vertically downwards.
  • the nozzle itself has a spray angle that is directed upwards.
  • the top of the housing preferably covers the channel.
  • the top also covers the nozzle.
  • the upper side expediently forms a downwardly directed cover in its end region. If necessary, the nozzle extends downwards beyond the cover.
  • the invention is also directed to a toilet with an under shower.
  • the toilet has a toilet seat, the attachment of which to the toilet bowl also provides the attachment of the under-shower.
  • the fastening device is advantageously secured to the toilet bowl of the toilet with that fastening with which the toilet seat on the toilet bowl is also fastened to the toilet bowl.
  • the fastening can be, for example, two hinges or hinge pins.
  • a core idea of the invention is that the shower head does not form a hinge for the toilet seat.
  • FIG. 1 shows a shower device according to the invention in a perspective view.
  • the shower device consists of three essential components, namely a valve 1, a water safety device 2 and a nozzle 3.
  • the valve 1 and the water safety device 2 are connected to one another via a line 4. The same applies to water protection 2 and nozzle 3.
  • the valve 1 is via a rotary knob 5 (see Figure 2 ) operable and connected via a rear connection 6 to a water pipe, not shown. If the user turns on the valve 1, water passes through the line section 4, the water protection 2, the subsequent line section 4 and emerges from the nozzle 3.
  • the nozzle 1 is designed in such a way that it extends against a restoring force, specifically in the direction of the arrow P1 vertically downwards. The water reaches the area of the user to be cleaned through the nozzle 3.
  • the water protection 2 is preferably a protection according to DIN EN1717, which in particular has a free outlet with an injector. Any leakage is diverted to the outside through openings 7 of the water protection 2.
  • the valve 1, the water protection 2 and the nozzle 3 are preferably fixed to a lower part 8 of a housing 9 (see FIG. 2).
  • the lower part 8 forms a channel 10, through which the leakage can drain into a toilet bowl.
  • the channel 10 serves to accommodate the line 4.
  • the under shower is fixed to the toilet bowl via a fastening device which, in the preferred embodiment shown, consists of two tabs 11, 12, which are preferably made of metal, which allows a particularly flat and at the same time stable and durable construction.
  • the tabs 11, 12 each have a hole 13, which is preferably designed as an elongated hole and through which a hinge of the toilet seat engages, as it is in connection with Figure 4 is described in more detail.
  • a one-piece fastening device can be provided.
  • the fastening tabs 11, 12 are suspended in the underside 8 of the housing 9 and preferably can be moved independently of one another relative to the housing 9 for their adjustment.
  • the underside 8 has a grid 14 which interacts with the respective tab 11, 12.
  • the grid 14 provides additional support for the tabs 11, 12 and prevents the shower device from unintentionally slipping sideways.
  • FIG. 2 shows the under shower with the housing 9 closed.
  • a top 15 is clipped, glued or screwed onto the underside 8 of the housing. Thanks to the housing, the under shower is dust-proof and easy to clean.
  • the housing 9 With its upper side 15, the housing 9 forms an arm 16 which extends forward between the tabs 11, 12 and preferably a downwardly extending one in its end region Cover 17 forms.
  • the cover 17 protects the nozzle 3 from soiling in its rest position. Only when the actuating button 5 is actuated does the nozzle 3 move under water pressure from its rest position into the working position downwards, so that it emerges from under the cover and can freely emit the water jet.
  • FIG 3 shows the under-shower on a toilet bowl 18.
  • the toilet bowl 18 has two openings 19 through which two (in Figure 4 the hinges 20 shown).
  • hinges can also be designed in several parts.
  • they can have a hinge pin and a hinge attachment detachably connected to it.
  • Such multi-part hinges are intended to be encompassed by the term hinge.
  • the under-shower can be adapted to the shape of the toilet bowl 18 and / or the toilet seat via the elongated hole 13.
  • FIG. 5 shows a toilet equipped with an under-shower according to the invention with a toilet seat 21.
  • the under-shower according to the invention particularly advantageously does not have any noteworthy features Raising the toilet seat 21 instead. This is achieved in that only the thin fastening tabs 11, 12, preferably made of metal, are clamped between the toilet seat 21 and the toilet bowl 18.
  • the higher structures such as the water protection 2 are arranged behind the toilet seat 21.
