Abstract

A bidet attachment for a water closet comprises a flexible pipe 1 for connection to a water source, a stop valve 2 which directs water through another flexible pipe 3 to a final delivery pipe 4 to which a spray nozzle 5 is attached. The spray nozzle 5 water is sprayed onto the buttocks of a person sitting on the closet. The components of the attachment are mounted on a base plate 6 which is attached to the closet by means of fixing holes 7. <IMAGE>

Description

SPA WASH This invention relates to a SPA-WASH. It replaces the need for a conventional bidet in a bathroom. The invention fits a traditional toilet pot.
Bidet's are used for hygiene purposes after a person has visited the toilet. They cleanse an individual leaving them feeling refreshed. However, bidet's are really only available to individuals who can afford the luxury and have the space in their bathrooms to install an additional "pot".
The SPA-WASH has been designed to perform the same task as a bidet.
The present invention comprises of: 1. A means of directing a water supply to a "spray nozzle" which will clean the bottom.
2. The water supply is controlled by a STOP valve.
3. A base plate is used for housing all the features of the SPA-WASH and fixing the device to a toilet pot.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the following drawing in which: FIGURE 1 shows the components and assemblage of the invention.
FIGURE 2 shows how the invention will be attached to a conventional toilet pot.
Referring to DIAGRAM 1, the SPA-WASH comprises of a flexible pipe 1 for connection to a water source. In order to activate SPA WASH, there is a STOP valve 2 which directs water through another flexible pipe 3 to a final delivery pipe 4 to which a spray nozzle is attached 5. The spray nozzle is angled in such a manner as to ensure that no water leaves the toilet pot. The components of the invention are mounted on a base plate 6.
The base plate 6 has two elongated fixing holes 7. These holes are elongated to allow the unit to be fixed to any conventional toilet pot that has a toilet seat fixture.
Refer to DIAGRAM 2 to see how the device will be attached to a toilet pot-.- The invention is attached to a toilet pot using the same bolts as used by the toilet seat/lid. To install the invention, the toilet seat is firstly unscrewed from the toilet pot. The SPA-WASH is placed on the spot where the toilet seat connects to the toilet pot. The toilet seat is then replaced back on the toilet pot, with the screw from the toilet seat passing through the fixing holes 7 in the base plate 6 of the SPA-WASH.

Claims (5)

  1. The SPA-WASH has been designed so that it performs the same job as a bidet but: 1. Requires no additional space in a bathroom as with a bidet.
  2. 2. Is installed on an existing toilet pot.
  3. 3. Is flexible so its fists any conventional toilet pot.
  4. 4. Can be installed by a DIY enthusiast.
  5. 5. Wash your bum-make you feel more hygienic-clean.
