Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pen holder for storing a pen, in particular a carpenter's pencil.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a simple way to keep a pen constantly ready to hand.
  • the pen quiver according to the invention comprises a hollow sleeve-like base body, which has an elongated interior opening into an insertion opening for partially receiving the pin.
  • the main body passes in the region of the insertion opening into at least one retaining tongue which protrudes (preferably in the longitudinal direction) from the base body and which is set up and provided to hold the pin by clamping action on the base body.
  • the pen is preferably a sharpenable pen, such as a pen. a conventional lead or colored pencil.
  • the pin is a so-called “carpenter's pencil", which is regularly used by craftsmen to mark cutting courses and / or holes on workpieces.
  • the pen may also be a different type of pen, such as a pen. Felt-tip pen, etc. act.
  • the pen quiver only has a retaining tongue
  • this preferably clamps the pin against a wall of the base body.
  • the retaining tongue is in this case formed for example by two introduced into the wall of the body longitudinal slots, and thus against the wall against which the pin is clamped, delimited and flexible - ie resilient - configured.
  • the pin in the pen quiver is always in exactly the position selected by the user - especially in the desired insertion depth with respect to the insertion - held. Any arbitrarily short pins therefore do not fall into the pen quiver, but are with sufficient supernatant on the limiting the insertion opening quiver edge, i. in particular over the free end of the or each retaining tongue out, held to grab the pen at any time for reuse and to be able to pull out of the pen quiver.
  • any number of holding tongues can be arranged on the base body within the scope of the invention.
  • the base body passes over into two retaining tongues which lie opposite each other (diametrically across the longitudinal axis) and which are adapted to hold the pin between them by clamping action.
  • the two retaining tongues advantageously increase the flexibility of the pin holder for holding different pins, in particular pins with differently sized pin cross-sectional areas.
  • these two retaining tongues are spaced apart such that a user can grasp with two fingers for removal of the pin between the retaining tongues. As a result, slipped or improperly scuttled in the body pins can be removed.
  • the main body is preferably designed such that in the interior of the largest expected pin diameter - for pins with non-circular cross section of the largest expected pin cross section - can be added.
  • the largest pen cross section to be expected corresponds to the cross section of a conventional (i.e., oval or elliptically profiled) carpenter pen.
  • the pen quiver In manufacturing appropriate expedient of the pen quiver is made of plastic.
  • the plastic version allows a simple way to perform the or each retaining tongue sufficiently flexible or resilient.
  • the pen quiver can also be manufactured with particularly high design freedom.
  • the pin quiver is made of metal, for example a light metal.
  • the base body is closed at its tip end opposite the insertion opening. This prevents in a simple way that even with deep insertion of the pin in the body, the clothes in which the pen quiver is worn by the user, is contaminated by the writing tip of the pen.
  • the base body it is also conceivable within the scope of the invention for the base body to be open at its tip end.
  • the pin quiver on a mounting bracket which is connected to a designated as a "fixed end" with the main body, preferably integrally formed thereon. With his facing away from the Festende free end of the mounting bracket is aligned in the direction of the tip end of the body.
  • the mounting bracket is suitably made possible to attach the pen quiver - preferably with upwardly directed insertion - for example, a bag of work clothes or the like and thus in particular on the body.
  • the pin can be removed in a simple manner, in particular one-handed, from the pen quiver and put back into this after use.
  • the pen is thus accessible to the user at all times, i. tangible. This is particularly advantageous for the case in which the user uses a hand for applying and holding a ruler, a template or a workpiece. In such a case, a safe storage option for the pen, such as a flat surface, often not within reach of the user.
  • the mounting bracket is preferably designed such that its (serving to hold the pin holder on the work clothes) holding force exceeds the clamping force of the retaining tongues. This ensures that the pen can be removed from the pen quiver, without the pen quiver dissolves from the work clothes.
  • the mounting bracket in an expedient embodiment, at least one locking element, which preferably facing on the base body Inside the mounting bracket is arranged and the "biting" in the manner of a barb on the fabric of the work clothes or the like and thus counteracts accidental removal of the pin holder.
  • the mounting bracket on at least two longitudinally successively arranged locking elements of this type.
  • the mounting bracket with its fixed end on the retaining tongue (or one of optionally a plurality of retaining tongues) attached, in particular integrally formed.
  • the mounting bracket is here in particular with - compared to the length of the mounting bracket - a small distance to the insertion attached to the retaining tongue.
  • the mounting bracket is preferably connected directly to or just before the insertion opening limiting quiver edge with the respective retaining tongue.
  • the pen quiver has a length of about 16 to 26 centimeters, preferably from 20 to 24 centimeters.
  • the length of the pin holder here is particularly dimensioned such that it corresponds approximately to the length of a conventional, folded folding rule ("Zollstocks"). This is advantageous because in conventional workwear the depth of at least some pockets is often oriented along the length of a folded folding rule.
  • the appropriately sized pen quiver in conventional workwear can be stored safely and without restriction of the user's freedom of movement.
  • the or each retaining tongue UFd in order to facilitate the insertion of the pin in the body, in an advantageous embodiment, the or each retaining tongue UFd lake UF-like extension bent up the insertion.
  • the user is an almost “blind” operation of the pen holder, so a plugging of the pen into the pen quiver without looking closely.
  • each pin is guided by the bending of the retaining tongues when plugging into the pen quiver and centered with respect to the interior, so that even very thick pins can be plugged into the pen quiver in a simple manner, in particular without tilting.
  • the or each retaining tongue between the transition to the main body and its free end - preferably partially - tapers in an expedient embodiment.
  • "Arealwise" in this context means that the or each retaining tongue is only tapered over part of its entire length.
  • the or each retaining tongue can be tapered in the circumferential direction (tangentially) and / or radially. In the latter case, it is a rejuvenation of the wall thickness of the or each retaining tongue.
