  • a tag comprises for instance an antenna circuit formed with conductive tracks which is electrically connected to an integrated circuit (IC) chip that includes a memory. It uses electromagnetic field produced by an RFID reader. If such a tag enters the magnetic field for a sufficient time, the RFID antenna will become energized and the electronic circuit can transmit a signal towards the reader or a separate receiving antenna.

  • the antenna also has to meet space consumption requirement, in particular the antenna should have a thickness as thin as possible and should be as easy as possible to manufacture and is compatible with mass production specification. Thickness issue is particularly important when the antenna is intended to be cased in a mobile phone, especially new generation of slim smart phones, where space is quite limited.
  • Fig.1 show a first embodiment of a planar RFID antenna which comprises a supporting substrate 2 on which an electrically conductive track 4 has been formed.

Claims (7)

  1. Procédé de fabrication d'une antenne comprenant les étapes suivantes :
    • fourniture d'une feuille magnétique constituée d'un matériau composite comportant des particules magnétiques et une résine synthétique, ladite feuille magnétique ayant une première surface ;
    • formation d'une piste d'antenne électriquement conductrice (4) directement sur la première surface de la feuille magnétique, qui sert de substrat de support (2), la piste d'antenne électriquement conductrice (4) ayant au moins un tour, caractérisé en ce qu'il est réalisé par un procédé de rouleau à rouleau et qu'il comprend en outre les étapes suivantes :
    • application d'une couche adhésive sur une première surface de la feuille magnétique, avant la formation de la piste d'antenne électriquement conductrice (4) ; et
    • perforation de deux trous débouchants dans la feuille magnétique et la couche adhésive, avant la formation de la piste d'antenne électriquement conductrice (4) directement sur la première surface de la feuille magnétique, de manière à former, une fois que la piste d'antenne électriquement conductrice (4) est formée, deux trous borgnes situés au niveau de deux extrémités de raccordement d'antenne et fournissant un accès pour le raccordement électrique de l'antenne à un dispositif.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'épaisseur de la structure stratifiée comprenant la feuille magnétique (2), la couche adhésive et la piste conductrice (4) de l'antenne a une épaisseur comprise entre 150 et 200 µm.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 2, dans lequel la couche adhésive fait 20 µm d'épaisseur.
  4. Procédé selon une quelconque revendication précédente, dans lequel l'étape de formation de la piste conductrice d'antenne (4) comporte les étapes suivantes :
    • application d'un motif de masquage sur la couche électriquement conductrice pour protéger sélectivement la couche conductrice ;
    • gravure chimique de la couche électriquement conductrice de manière à retirer la couche conductrice non protégée ; et
    • retrait du motif de masquage pour exposer la piste conductrice (4).
  5. Procédé selon la revendication 4, comprenant en outre une étape de placage ou de passivation de la piste conductrice exposée (4).
  6. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant l'étape de mise en place d'une deuxième feuille magnétique sur une deuxième surface de ladite feuille magnétique constituée d'un matériau composite comportant des particules magnétiques et une résine synthétique, ladite deuxième surface étant à l'opposé de ladite première surface, ladite feuille magnétique constituée d'un matériau composite comportant des particules magnétiques et une résine synthétique ayant une perméabilité avec une valeur de partie imaginaire µ" qui est inférieure à 5 H/m et ladite deuxième feuille magnétique ayant une perméabilité avec une partie réelle µ' qui est supérieure à 100 H/m.
  7. Antenne obtenue par un procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes.
