Definitions

  • the invention further relates to a method for producing such a Metallruckendrucktuches.
  • a blanket of the type mentioned above is for example from the DE 21 2008 00 045 U1 known.
  • the cover layer consists of a plastic film which is glued with a hot melt adhesive to the metal foil.
  • the blanket is clamped for printing on a printing cylinder by means of projections of the metal foil in a known manner.
  • the print layer of the blanket is washed off for cleaning with a detergent.
  • detergent passes between the metal foil and the pressure roller.
  • the detergent is then pressed in part between the metal foil and the plastic film and distributed by the rotation of the pressure roller in a later printing in the circumferential direction of the blanket.
  • the hot-melt adhesive dissolves locally and the plastic film peels away from the metal foil in these areas. This leads to a swelling of the blanket and to a deterioration of the printed image in these areas.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a metal back pressure, in which the risk of dissolution of the adhesive layer is low.
  • the cover layer consists of a nonwoven fabric.
  • the advantage of the invention is the fact that the liquid detergent can be evenly distributed between the metal foil and the printing cylinder due to the formation of the cover layer as a nonwoven fabric.
  • the detergent is absorbed by the nonwoven fabric, since the nonwoven fabric is open-pored.
  • the detergent can not dissolve the adhesive layer.
  • due to the detergent local pressure increases between the metal foil and the pressure roller can not occur, which lead to detachment of the cover layer from the metal foil.
  • Another advantage of the invention is the fact that a cover layer in the form of a nonwoven fabric has a low bending stiffness and thus the blanket can be easily mounted on the printing cylinder.
  • the adhesive layer penetrates the cover layer in some areas, which is readily possible due to the formation of the cover layer as a nonwoven fabric.
  • the advantage of the development can be seen in the fact that the cover layer is in addition to the adhesive bond positively connected to the adhesive layer due to the penetration through the adhesive layer. As a result, a particularly durable connection of the cover layer to the metal foil of the blanket is ensured.
  • the adhesive layer penetrates 50% to 90% of the thickness of the cover layer.
  • the advantage of this development is the fact that with such a penetration a particularly secure connection of the cover layer to the metal foil is achieved.
  • Another advantage of the development is the fact that the cover layer of nonwoven fabric in the region of penetration has no or only a small compressibility, which has an increased stability of the blanket in this area. Nevertheless, the Cover layer of the nonwoven continue to absorb moisture, since the nonwoven fabric is not completely penetrated by the adhesive layer.
  • any nonwoven fabric e.g. Paper to be chosen.
  • the cover layer is preferably a plastic nonwoven fabric.
  • the advantage of this development can be seen in the fact that a plastic nonwoven fabric does not swell or only slightly swells when absorbing moisture, and thus there is no change in the thickness of the blanket upon absorption of moisture.
  • Another advantage of the development is the fact that a plastic nonwoven fabric has a high long-term durability.
  • any adhesive can be chosen which is suitable for bonding the cover layer to the metal foil. Both physically binding and chemically binding adhesives are suitable for this purpose.
  • the adhesive layer is preferably formed as a hot melt adhesive.
  • the hot melt adhesive is softened during the production of the blanket by pressure and heat and can penetrate particularly well into the nonwoven fabric of the cover layer.
  • the adhesive bond in addition to a positive connection between the adhesive layer and the cover layer.
  • the cover layer is at least twice as thick as the adhesive layer, the adhesive layer only penetrates the cover layer in regions during the production of the metal backing printing blanket. On the one hand, due to the area-wise penetration, it is ensured that the cover layer is securely connected to the metal foil. On the other hand, the fact that a part of the cover layer is not completely penetrated by the adhesive layer ensures that a sufficiently large area for moisture absorption remains in the cover layer.
  • a hot-melt adhesive is preferably used in the above-mentioned method. This achieves the advantages already mentioned above.
  • the figure shows a metal back printed cloth 2 with a print layer 4, a fabric layer 6, a compressible layer 8, a metal foil 10, an adhesive layer 12 and a cover layer 14.

All layers of Metallschreiben réelletuches 2 are connected to each other via adhesive connections. The metal foil 10 projects beyond the other layers 4, 6, 8, 12 and 14 at both edges of the blanket, so that free metal foil edges are formed. With the help of these metal foil edges, the metal back printing cloth 2 is tensioned in a known manner on a pressure roller.
