Definitions
- the invention relates to a household appliance with a space delimited by appliance walls, in particular a dishwasher, with a washing area, a cover plate being arranged on an outer surface of at least one appliance wall leaving a gap.
- Such a household appliance is for example from the publication DE 10 2010 031 492 A1 known.
- the disclosed household appliance in the embodiment of a dishwasher comprises at least one component which has at least one anti-drumming and / or soundproofing coating.
- the anti-drumming and / or sound insulation coating is or comprises, in turn, a reactively cured bituminous mixture.
- the anti-drumming and / or soundproofing coating cannot have a constant thickness, but rather several non-contiguous areas with different thicknesses. The different areas can be obtained, for example, in that the mixture is sprayed on for different periods of time in the individual areas.
- the device walls often have only a small thickness, for example for processing, shaping and / or cost reasons, so that noises arising in the room easily penetrate to the outside, which is undesirable.
- an anti-drumming mat possibly attached on the outside of the outer surface of the respective device wall, for example a bitumen mat to prevent or at least dampen vibrations of the device wall that lead to droning noises
- an acoustic insulating layer of one is preferably on the outside of the respective device wall, which is covered with a bitumen mat, for sound insulation Sound-absorbing and / or sound-reflecting material, for example made of an absorption fleece, is present over the entire surface.
- the insulating layer with a relatively large thickness of, for example, 2 cm or more is often required, which then requires a correspondingly large installation space is no longer available for other purposes, for example to enlarge the washing compartment of a dishwasher.
- the object of the invention is to propose a household appliance, in particular a dishwasher, of the type mentioned at the beginning with sound insulation that is improved in terms of its space requirement.
- the acoustic sealing frame is preferably placed along the edge regions of the respective device wall and protrudes outwards with a predeterminable transverse distance from the outer surface of the device wall enclosed by it all around.
- the cover plate is preferably attached, in particular placed, on the outside of the acoustic sealing frame in such a way that it covers the outer surface of the device wall enclosed all around by the acoustic sealing frame in a sound-insulating manner.
- the acoustic sealing frame consists at least partially of an airborne sound absorbing and / or reflective sealing material.
- the gap in the edge area of the cover plate can be perfectly acoustically isolated and a closed insulating sleeve made up of the combination of acoustic sealing frame and cover plate can be provided for the respective device wall, so that the passage of sound through the device wall can be sufficiently reduced.
- the acoustic sealing frame is made of a sound-absorbing material or material, in particular elastically and / or plastically deformable material, preferably foam, absorbent fleece or felt, sound waves can be absorbed, i.e. swallowed, from the interior of the room enclosed by the device walls.
- the acoustic sealing frame is, according to an advantageous development of the invention, in particular by a structural or surface element, in particular an acoustic and if necessary, an additional thermal insulation mat is formed, which has a breakthrough opening. This opening is closed by the cover plate.
- the acoustic sealing frame preferably has a, in particular essentially rectangular, geometrical shape that encloses the opening all around and is in particular placed on an associated edge area of the respective device wall.
- the acoustic sealing frame is expediently attached to the respective device wall in such a way that its opening comes to lie over any existing, three-dimensionally contoured, in particular uneven or outwardly protruding, outer surface of the device wall.
- the cover plate is arranged over the opening with the three-dimensional shape, in particular uneven or outwardly protruding outer surface, of the device wall and preferably covers it from the outside forth on an edge region of the acoustic sealing frame around its opening in an overlapping manner.
- the cover plate can in particular have a relatively small thickness, in particular a smaller layer thickness, than the material of the acoustic sealing frame. It can therefore be installed over the device wall on or in the acoustic sealing frame, closing its opening, where there is a smaller installation space available on the outside - in particular due to an outward curvature of the device wall - than in the other areas of the device wall, around predetermined To be able to comply with device dimensions. In a dishwasher, this is, for example, the central area of the top wall of the washing compartment, since the top wall is convexly curved outward for improved dripping behavior of liquid droplets sprayed onto it in the washing compartment of the washing compartment.
- the cover plate can advantageously be designed to be essentially planar.
- a specially manufactured molded part such as a pre-embossed absorption fleece, i.e. three-dimensionally shaped embossing fleece, is no longer required, which is placed over the entire outer surface of the respective device wall and its underside support contour is essentially complementary to the outer contour of the Appliance wall - in the case of a dishwasher, washing container wall - is formed, which makes its production complex and costly.
- an acoustic insulation sleeve can now be provided for the respective device wall, largely independent of the spatial shape, in particular outward and / or inward elevations, of the respective device wall viewed perpendicular to its plane of position is, the noise reduction system according to the invention of acoustic sealing frame and cover plate, the mass production of household appliances, in particular dishwashers, is simplified. In particular, storage is simplified. Because now it is no longer necessary to keep in stock specifically three-dimensionally contoured molded sound insulation parts for different height profiles of device walls.
- the noise reduction system comprising acoustic sealing frame and cover plate can ensure an at least approximately equally efficient or even improved sound insulation effect compared to a single, pre-embossed molded part that completely covers the respective device wall on the outside.
- the cover plate is made in particular from a material which primarily effects airborne sound insulation, that is, a reflection of the airborne sound prevailing in the gap.
- a material which primarily effects airborne sound insulation that is, a reflection of the airborne sound prevailing in the gap.
- Such an essentially airborne sound-insulating material can in particular be made from fibers, preferably cotton, kenaf and / or synthetic fibers such as polyester fibers, or from embossed fleece or felt, cardboard and / or plastic and / or metal.
- the material which can consist, for example, of fibers such as cotton, kenaf and / or synthetic fibers, for example polyester fibers, embossed fleece or felt, cardboard, and / or of a plastic material or metal that is not made up of fibers, but can optionally also be sound-absorbing, thus have sound-absorbing properties.
- the cover plate is made of embossed fleece, in particular a flat embossed fleece mat, this variant saves material, is simpler to manufacture and cheaper in comparison to a contoured embossed fleece covering the entire outer surface of the respective device wall.
- disruptive airborne sound is transmitted via a device wall into the mentioned gap, and / or airborne sound generated by vibrations of the respective device wall is transferred into the free space between the respective device wall and the cover plate arranged at a transverse distance from it, preferably approximately parallel to it, but at least partially reflected and / or absorbed there by the cover plate. Soundproof sealing of the gap in the edge area of the cover plate prevents the airborne sound from being able to propagate outward unhindered.
- a primarily sound-absorbing material for example a foam or an absorption fleece such as a polyester and / or cotton fleece, comes into consideration as the sealing material for the acoustic sealing frame.
- the sealing material can of course also have a sound-absorbing effect, with its acoustic sealing function possibly also being based solely on this property.
- the gap width of the gap existing between the cover plate and a device wall can also be kept relatively small, for example only a few millimeters. Overall, the space requirement of the proposed sound insulation in a direction running transversely to the plane of the device wall can thus be reduced to only a few millimeters and thus the space available within the housing of the household device can be increased.
- the sealing material which partially or completely forms the acoustic sealing frame which is for example a sound-absorbing foam or an absorption fleece such as a cotton and / or polyester fleece, is preferably elastically and / or plastically deformable. In this way, unevenness in a device wall, for example depressions or projections present therein, can be compensated for in an advantageous manner.
- a design of the acoustic sealing frame that is exactly complementary to the spatial shape of the device wall in order to ensure an acoustically tight closure of the gap is not required.
- Such a material can form an acoustic sealing frame as a whole or, for example, together with a stiffening material, for example a metal and / or a plastic.
- a particularly space-saving arrangement is given in particular when the acoustic sealing frame is arranged at least partially within the gap.
- the gap width of the gap can then be predetermined in a simple manner, preferably by the thickness of the acoustic sealing frame.
- an anti-drumming layer in particular designed as a bitumen layer, is provided on the at least one device wall.
- a heavy layer serves to dampen vibrations of the respective device wall, which are caused, for example, by a mechanical coupling of the device wall to a vibrating component, such as a motor, or, as is the case with a dishwasher, by water jets hitting the inside of the washing container wall .
- a cover plate and an acoustic sealing frame assigned to it cover a device wall as largely as possible in order to ensure adequate soundproofing.
- the acoustic sealing frame and the cover plate can be fixed to one another in a simple manner in terms of production technology, in particular mechanically fastened and / or glued to one another - for example by means of clamps.
- a fixation, in particular mechanical fixation and / or adhesive bonding, can also be provided for the direct or indirect fixation of the acoustic sealing frame on a device wall.
- an advantageous fastening of the acoustic sealing frame and cover plate can be achieved in that they are held in a form-fitting manner in a gap between a device wall and an outer housing wall of the household appliance that flanks this device wall. If the cover plate and acoustic sealing frame are of appropriate dimensions, they are held in a clamping manner in the gap space, so that, if necessary, the acoustic sealing frame can be glued to the device wall or to one there existing anti-drumming mat and a mutual gluing of acoustic sealing frame and cover plate can be dispensed with.
- no separate cover plate is provided. Rather, this is formed by a housing wall, in particular an outer housing wall, of the household appliance.
- the outer surface of the cover plate which can consist of plastic or metal, for example, is expediently designed in a visually appealing manner, for example provided with a surface coating.
- the cover plate can form or replace at least part of the housing wall, in particular the outer housing wall, of the household appliance.
- Fig. 1 shows, as an example of a household appliance, a dishwasher 1 which comprises a washing container 2. Its interior forms a washing area 3 which is used to hold items to be washed and which is an example of a room 5 of a household appliance 1 which is delimited by device walls 4.
- This washing area 3 has a loading opening 12 on the front side that can be closed by a door 11. Airborne noise generated in the room 5 due, for example, to the treatment of objects such as dishes, is to be prevented from passing through the appliance walls 4, that is to say in the case of a dishwasher 1 through the container walls 6 delimiting the washing area 3, namely an upper container wall 6a, two lateral container walls 6b, a lower container wall 6c and a rear wall, not visible in the figures, to penetrate to the outside.
- the appliance walls also include, in particular, the door 11, in particular its inner door facing the washing area 3.
- the door 11 in particular its inner door facing the washing area 3.
- a washing container and a container wall 6 which delimits it.
- At least the ceiling wall 6a is provided on the outside with an airborne sound insulation which comprises a cover plate 8 and an acoustic sealing frame 9.
- the top wall and additionally the two side walls 6b as well as the bottom wall 6c of the washing container 2, preferably all washing container walls 6, are each covered with such an airborne sound insulation.
- the cover plate 8 is arranged leaving a gap 10 on the outer surface 7 of the container wall 6.
- the cover plate 8 is placed in front of the container wall 6 with a predeterminable transverse distance 21 and is largely parallel to it. It covers the container wall 6 essentially completely in order to achieve the best possible sound insulation.
- the laterally open gap 10 is sealed with the aid of the acoustic sealing frame 9 arranged in an edge region 13 of the cover plate 8.
- the acoustic sealing frame 9 consists at least partially, preferably completely, of an airborne sound-absorbing and / or reflective sealing material, for example a sound-absorbing foam with preferably closed pores and / or absorption fleece such as cotton and / or polyester fleece.
- a material with above all sound-absorbing properties in particular an elastically and / or plastically deformable material, preferably foam or absorbent fleece, can be used for the sealing material of the acoustic sealing frame 9.
- the acoustic sealing frame 9 can be present as a prefabricated part and attached to the outer surface 7 of a container wall 6. Another possibility is that the acoustic sealing frame 9 is applied to the outer surface 7, for example in the form of an initially viscous, later solidifying mass. The cover plate can then, for example, still in a viscous state of the acoustic sealing frame 9, pressed against the latter and, for example, materially connected to it. In a viscous state, the acoustic sealing frame 9 or the sealing material forming it is essentially plastically deformable, so that unevenness of the outer surface 7, which may arise from construction-related depressions or beads in a container wall 6, is compensated for. In the case of a prefabricated acoustic sealing frame 9, this can also consist of an elastically and / or plastically deformable sealing material, so that unevenness of the outer surface 7 of a container wall 6 can be compensated for.
- the acoustic sealing frame 9 has an essentially rectangular geometric shape and sits on the respective container wall 6 with an essentially planar contact surface. It covers the edge areas of the essentially rectangular container wall 6 and stands with respect to its outer surface 7 with a predeterminable transverse distance 21 to the outside.
- the cover plate 8 is placed on the outside of the acoustic sealing frame 9, which covers the outer surface 7 ′ enclosed all around by the acoustic sealing frame 9 (see also FIG Fig. 5 ) the container wall 6 covered in a sound-insulating manner.
- the sealing material at least partially forming the acoustic sealing frame 9 is primarily a material that absorbs the airborne sound prevailing in the gap 10, for example a foam already mentioned above or another material having discontinuities in the form of pores.
- the cover plate 8 primarily serves to prevent airborne sound transmitted from the washing container 2 and / or from the container wall into the gap 10 from spreading further and reaching the environment. This can initially be ensured by a sound-absorbing, i.e. sound-reflecting, panel material. Plastic and / or metal plates, for example, come into consideration here.
- fibers such as cotton, kenaf and / or plastic fibers, for example polyester fibers, and cover plates 8 formed from cardboard. Because of their fiber-like structure, which has micro-cavities, such panels may also have sound-absorbing, that is to say sound-absorbing, properties.
- an anti-drumming layer 14 is attached, for example glued, to the outer surface 7 of a container wall 6 cause good structure-borne noise or vibration damping of the container walls 6.
- the anti-drumming layer 14 covers the area of the outer surface 7 of the container wall 6 bounded by the acoustic sealing frame 9.
- the acoustic sealing frame 9 can be fixed directly to the outer surface 7, for example glued, provided the anti-drumming layer is not larger than the surface area bounded by the acoustic sealing frame 9 of the outer surface 7.
- the anti-drumming layer 14 extends further outwards, so that the acoustic sealing frame 9 rests against the anti-drumming layer 14 and is thus indirectly connected to the container wall 6 (see FIG Fig. 4 , left half).
- a corner region 18, at which two adjacent container walls 6 abut, can also be covered by a cover plate 8 ', with a section 19 of the acoustic sealing frame 9, which is shown in FIG Fig. 3 is indicated by a dashed line 20, extends into a gap 10 'present between the cover plate 8' and the corner region 18.
- the section 19 can be designed as a separate part or in one piece with one or more frames 9.
- part or the entire housing wall in particular the outer housing wall such as 16, for example, can be omitted.
- the cover plate 8 then forms, for example partially or entirely, an outer housing wall of the dishwasher, that is to say the cover plate 8 at least partially replaces the outer housing wall 16.
- the acoustic sealing frame 9 can be formed by a preferably sound-absorbing structural or surface element which, in its spatial structure or in its surface interior, has an opening enclosed by edge regions of the structural or surface element.
- a preferably sound-absorbing foam or fleece element in particular a substantially flat foam or fleece mat, preferably cotton fleece and / or polyester fleece mat, can be provided as the acoustic sealing frame 9, which - preferably in a central area of its Area expansion - is punched through and thus has a breakthrough opening enclosed by the remaining edge areas of the foam or fleece element.
- the sound-absorbing structural or surface element can in particular be formed by a component that is already present in the construction of the respective household appliance, in particular the dishwasher.
- the opening or cutout is provided in this at a point at which there is little space available on the outside of the washing compartment in order to maintain predetermined device dimensions.
- a point can be, for example, where a wall of the washing compartment has an outwardly pointing curvature or bulge.
- the top wall of the washing compartment is curved outwards in a central area in order to give its inner wall surface in the washing area a convex shape, so that washing liquid sprayed onto it during a respective liquid-carrying partial wash cycle to the vertical side walls and / or the vertical
- the rear wall of the washing container can run off in an improved manner and can then flow downward from these to the bottom of the washing container.
- the breakthrough opening or recess of an acoustic sealing frame 9 designed in this way is then closed from the outside with a cover plate 8.
- This can for example be placed on the outer surfaces of the remaining sections of such a punched or cut-out acoustic sealing frame 9 with an edge area overlapping.
- Sound-insulating materials are sufficient for the cover plate 8 in order to ensure a sound-insulating overall construction.
- the cover plate 8 can be made of cardboard or cardboard, fibers such as cotton, kenaf, polyester, and / or made of plastic.
- the layer thickness of the cover plate 8 can advantageously be selected to be thinner, in particular 1/6 to 1 ⁇ 2 times thinner, than the layer thickness of the sound-absorbing structural or surface element, and nevertheless an overall construction of preferably sound-absorbing frame element or sealing element and its opening can be closed, preferably Provide sound-absorbing cover plate 8, which has a sufficiently sound-insulating effect. This is because sound waves emitted or transferred from the respective device wall, for example the top wall of the washing compartment, are reflected by the cover plate 8 inwards to the device wall and / or to the frame element and are partially or wholly absorbed by it.
- the cover plate 8 supplements the acoustic sealing element seated on the outside of the respective device wall, which protrudes outwards with a predeterminable transverse distance from the outer surface of the device wall enclosed by it all around, such that between the device wall, the sealing element and the cover plate 8 a cavity or gap ( see 10 in Fig. 4 ) is included. As a result, perfect sound encapsulation of the respective device wall is formed. If necessary, the material of the acoustic sealing frame 9 and the cover plate 8 can also be designed to be thermally insulating, so that the energy efficiency of the dishwasher can also be improved during its operation compared to the case that only one bitumen mat is applied to the respective container wall.
- Fig. 5 shows schematically in a perspective illustration the top wall 23 of the washing compartment of the dishwasher 1 from FIG Fig. 1 . It is curved outwards in a central area, that is to say convexly.
- a bitumen mat sits on the outside as an anti-drumming layer 14. This can be attached to the outer surface of the ceiling wall 23 by means of an adhesive, for example. If necessary, according to an alternative embodiment variant, it can be placed loosely on top wall 23 and fixed in position there in some other way.
- the anti-drumming layer 14 can only be placed loosely on the anti-drumming layer 14, but preferably glued to the anti-drumming layer 14, or fixed in position on it in some other way. It is provided with a through opening 22 in a central area where the top wall has its bulge or bulge outward. This will closed from the outside by a cover plate 8, which is placed on the outside of an edge region of the sound-absorbing structural or surface element 24, which surrounds the opening 22 all around.
- this edge area along the course of which the cover plate 8 is seated on the outside in a contacting manner on the structural or surface element 24, is shown in dash-dotted lines and provided with the reference numeral 26.
- the edge area 26 thus forms the overlap area between the cover plate 8 and the material of the structural or surface element 24.
- the opening 22 and, corresponding thereto, the cover plate 8 are approximately circular. Of course, other geometrical shapes are possible for the opening 22 and the cover plate 8.
- a primarily sound-reflecting material such as cellulose, in particular cardboard, and / or embossed fleece, in particular cotton, kenaf, and / or polyester fleece, plastic, and / or metal is selected for the cover plate 8.
- the cover plate 8 has a layer thickness 25 which is smaller, in particular between 10 and 50%, less than the layer thickness 21 of the primarily sound-absorbing structural or surface element 24.
- predetermined height dimensions for the overall construction of the dishwasher can also be adhered to where the ceiling wall of the washing container is arched outwards, while still ensuring perfect sound insulation or soundproofing of the washing area in the area of the ceiling wall.
- the layer thickness 25 of the cover plate 8 is preferably selected between 1 and 5 mm.
- the wall thickness 21 of the structural or surface element 24 is selected in particular between 5 and 30 mm.
- the layer thickness 25 of the cover plate 8 can expediently be selected so thin that the plane of the position that the cover plate 8 assumes in its final assembly state on the structural or surface element 24 is in particular approximately at the same height as the outer surfaces of the opening 22 around it Edge regions 13 of the structural or surface element 24 are arranged.
- the overall construction of the structural or surface element 24 and the cover or the cover layer for covering the With such a construction and a choice of layer thickness for the cover plate 8, through-opening 22 thus has an approximately flat or planar outer surface which does not exceed a maximum permissible upper limit.
- a sound-absorbing material such as foam is selected for the structural or surface element 24 and a sound-reflecting material such as embossed fleece, other fiber material, cardboard and / or plastic and / or metal is selected for the cover plate 8
- a "spring" is used -Attenuator "composite system provided that, despite the savings in space and material, causes perfect sound insulation.
- the too Fig. 5 The construction and designs explained in relation to the ceiling wall can of course also be transferred to the sound insulation of other device walls of a household appliance.
- the outside of the inner wall (inner door) of the door of a dishwasher can also be provided with sound insulation designed according to the invention.
- the housing of the circulation or waste water pump of a dishwasher or of another noise or noise-generating element of a dishwasher can advantageously be equipped with sound insulation according to the construction principle according to the invention.
- a household appliance in particular a dishwasher, with a space that is delimited by at least one appliance wall, such as the ceiling wall 23, has an acoustic sealing frame 9, such as 24, along edge areas such as 13 of the respective appliance wall 4 placed on an airborne sound absorbing and / or reflective sealing material.
- This acoustic sealing frame 9 is opposite the outer surface enclosed by it all around (see 7 'in Fig. 5 ) the device wall such as 23 with a predeterminable transverse distance such as 21 to the outside.
- a cover plate 8 is placed, which covers the outer surface of the device wall enclosed all around by the acoustic sealing frame 9 in a sound-insulating manner.
- the cover plate it is also possible, albeit at a higher manufacturing cost than a flat cover plate, for the cover plate to be inserted largely flush into the recess of the opening in the acoustic sealing frame.
