Claims (7)

  1. Escalier mécanique ou trottoir roulant avec une bande rotative de marches ou de palettes, chaque marche ou palette présentant de chaque côté respectivement un rouleau d'appui et un rouleau de chaîne qui sont guidés sur des rails de rouleaux d'appui et des rails de rouleaux de chaîne en marche avant et en marche arrière, caractérisé en ce que le rail de rouleaux d'appui (26) s'étend latéralement près de la marche d'escalier mécanique (12), et en ce que le rouleau d'appui (14), vu dans la vue avant de la marche (12) ou de la palette, est supporté en chevauchant partiellement la marche (12) ou la palette et en faisant saillie par rapport à la marche (12) ou la palette aussi bien latéralement que vers le bas.
  2. Escalier mécanique ou trottoir roulant selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la dimension de chevauchement entre la marche (12) ou la palette et le rouleau d'appui (14), vu, dans la vue avant, est supérieure à 20 % et inférieure à 70 %, en particulier égale à environ 40 % de la largeur du rouleau d'appui (14).
  3. Escalier mécanique ou trottoir roulant selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que, par rapport à la marche (12) ou à la palette, le rouleau d'appui (14) fait saillie vers le bas sur quelques millimètres, en particulier sur moins de la moitié de son diamètre et de préférence sur moins de 20 % de son diamètre et, de façon particulièrement préférée, sur environ un dixième de son diamètre.
  4. Escalier mécanique ou trottoir roulant selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le rouleau d'appui (14) est mis en place à l'extrémité inférieure de la marche (12) ou de la palette, et en ce que le rail de rouleaux d'appui de marche avant s'étend partiellement au-dessous de la marche (12) ou de la palette.
  5. Escalier mécanique ou trottoir roulant selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le rail de marche avant de rouleaux de chaîne (22) s'étend latéralement en dehors - par rapport à la marche (12) ou la palette - du rail de marche avant de rouleaux d'appui, et cela certes de façon directement adjacente à ce rail, mais avec un décalage en hauteur.
  6. Escalier mécanique ou trottoir roulant selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que des rails de rouleaux de chaîne et le rail de marche avant de rouleaux d'appui s'étendent sur leur côté intérieur, donc sur leur côté tourné vers la marche (12) ou la palette, respectivement de façon essentiellement en affleurement avec le rouleau correspondant et se terminent, sur leur côté extérieur, nettement en dehors du rail concerné et est en particulier nettement plus grand que le rouleau concerné.
  7. Escalier mécanique ou trottoir roulant selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que les rails de marche avant et de marche arrière sont constitués en tant que rails en L ou en T, pour lesquels la branche verticale est située essentiellement au-dessous du milieu du rouleau.
