Definitions

  • the disc support is manually moved back to the starting position after completion of the cutting process and removal of the cut disc package, which is usually done in practice by a pushing back of the slidingly mounted on a guide rod disc support.
  • Such a cutting machine in which, in order to facilitate the work for the operator on the one hand, the storage area of the receiving area in the course of opening a cover to the operator is pivotable to facilitate the packaging of the disc pack in foil bag.
  • a further relief for the operator is that with the opening of the cover to the other also a pivoting of the guide rails of the disk support is coupled, whereby the latter is removed both from the feed cross section for the disk package as well as in an elevated position, out of the them due to gravity due to sliding on the guide rods down automatically moves back to the starting position. After closing the cover, therefore, the machine is ready to cut open a next loaf of bread without restriction.
  • a coupling of the disk return as described above with the operation of the cover is particularly advantageous if such machines are to be operated by customers.
  • This concept is increasingly practiced in recent times for reasons of personnel savings both in bakery shops, especially those with a self-service by the customer, or in stores of food discounters, in which increasingly also bread makers are set up and the There, baked bread can be cut open by the customer using the bread slicing machines described above, if desired.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a bread slicer with a return of the disc support from its final position to the starting position, which is easy to manufacture, is characterized by their robustness and variable in terms of both the starting position of the disc support and on a Return of the disc support triggering restoring force is.
  • the underlying object is achieved in that the disc support is moved back by means of the weight of a counterweight device from the end position to the starting position, wherein a counterweight of the counterweight device is disposed outside of the receiving area and within a machine housing.
  • the bread slicer according to the invention thus dispenses, on the one hand, with a mechanical coupling between any safety devices or operating elements and the disk support, which simplifies the construction of the machine.
  • a separate arrangement of a counterweight device on the other hand allows a targeted adjustment of the force acting on the disc support force.
  • the restoring device for the disc support can thus be constructed as separate from selbiger present assembly, executed and for the sole determination of the return movement of the disc support in the start position - for example, with respect to the restoring force - optimized. In this way it is much easier to achieve the robustness demanded by customers in the field of self-service. Furthermore, the probability of incorrect operation by the customer is almost completely eliminated.
  • Retraction of the disc support from the end position to the start position is ultimately accomplished by "charging" the resetting device or counterweight device with potential energy supplied by the advancing device during transfer of the counterweight device from the start position to the end position.
  • a separate powered by external energy drive for the counterweight device is not required.
  • the disc support is rotatably mounted about a preferably perpendicular to the storage surface of the receiving area aligned axis of rotation and rotates in its movement from the start position to the end position and vice versa about this axis of rotation.
  • a rotational movement of the disc support allows a very simple storage, which is also characterized by its low friction.
  • the risk of contamination caused by the cutting process crumbs or flour dust is not given, so that such storage requires no cleaning and thus virtually maintenance-free.
  • the two arms arranged on opposite sides of the axis of rotation make it possible to arrange the restoring device outside the receiving area in order to exclude obstacles when advancing the disk package.
  • the disc support When the axis of rotation of the disc support is at an angle to the vertical and the counterweight device is a counterweight rigidly coupled to the return arm, the disc support will always seek to rotate under the weight of the counterweight so that the counterweight is at the lowest possible position. ie the position with the lowest energy level - occupies. In this way, or by a correspondingly previously effective stop, the starting position of the disc support can be defined.
  • a distance of the center of gravity of the counterweight should be adjustable from the axis of rotation.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment is that the surface normal of the footprint of the receiving area is parallel to the axis of rotation of the disc support.
  • the axis of rotation, and in particular the physical pivoting joint embodying it may then preferably be arranged in or on a side wall of the receiving area, the support arm then being located in the receiving area, in particular within a receiving shaft, and the return arm with the counterweight device being located inside a behind the receiving shaft Machine housing is located and thus not accessible to the user and is well protected against the ingress of dirt.
  • the Supporting element have a aligned in the starting position of the disc support parallel to a knife plane center area, in particular in the critical phase in which the first discs - possibly even a tail with a convex surface - must be supported.
  • the safe interception of the first disc is favored when the support member has a subsequent to the central region, the knife inclined end capture section, since in particular a lateral deflection of the first cut disc in a direction parallel to the knife plane or the central region is prevented.
  • the axis of rotation of the disc support should be arranged on the same side of the cutting cross section as the at least one axis of rotation of the cutting device, ie the axis of rotation of a sickle blade or the axis of rotation of a knife rocker of a circular knife with orbital drive. Furthermore, the support element should still have a on the catch portion opposite side of the central region of this subsequent and the knife averse to late support area. This is due to the rotational movement of the support member together with the entire disc support with increasing distance of the support member from the knife level, ie with increasing number of cut discs, effective.
  • the transition between the central region and the late support region can - like the transition between the central region and the catching section - be designed in the form of a bend or a rounding.
  • a preferably made of a rubber elastic material stop element should be present, which is able to prevent the rotational movement of the counterweight device and consequently also the disc support in a position of a minimum potential energy level.
  • the stop element is arranged in a particularly advantageous manner on the return arm and cooperates with a receiving area facing away from a side wall of the receiving area.
  • a counterweight device may be embodied, for example, in the form of a cable pull, which is connected at one end to the disk support and at the other end to a counterweight, which is preferably freely suspended.
  • FIG. 1 An in FIG. 1 Cutting machine 1 shown in a front view has a box-shaped machine housing 2, which is slidably mounted on a four rotatably mounted about a vertical axis rollers 3 on a floor.
  • the cutting machine 1 has a feed region 4, which is of a shaft-shaped design and serves for inserting a loaf of bread to be cut.
  • the cutting machine 1 has a receiving area 5 arranged linearly adjacent to the feed area 4, which in a vertical section in FIG FIG. 3 and in a plan view in FIG FIG. 2 is shown enlarged.
  • a non-visible cutting device in the form of a known orbital gear in which a circular blade rotating about its own axis is arranged on a knife rocker likewise rotating about a rocker axis.
  • An end portion of the knife rocker covers a portion of the circular blade and is wedge-shaped in cross-section, since this end portion penetrates during the cutting process in the cross section of the loaf and the new disc from this deflects.
  • a feed device in a known form with a feed element in the form of a feed plate or feed claw is executed.
  • the loaf of bread inserted in the feed region 4 can be advanced progressively onto the knife of the cutting device in operation, depending on the set slice thickness, in order to produce successive slices of bread, which are then approximately in the form of the uncut loaf as slice package in the receiving region 5 accumulate and there in the feed direction (arrow 6) are pushed on.
  • the basic structure of the cutting machine 1 described above is well known.
  • the receiving area 5 comprises a receiving shaft 7, the bottom of which is formed by a crumb tray 8, which in turn acts with an upwardly facing surface as a storage area for the cut slices or the disk pack formed therefrom.
  • a crumb tray 8 which in turn acts with an upwardly facing surface as a storage area for the cut slices or the disk pack formed therefrom.
  • Through longitudinal slots 10 crumbs can fall through the crumb tray 8 through and collect in an underlying crumb tray, which must be emptied occasionally.
  • a cutting plane of the blade of the cutting device In the plan view according to FIG. 2 is defined by a line 12 a cutting plane of the blade of the cutting device. At a small distance 13 from the cutting plane is an existing sheet metal support member 14 of a disk support 15. This is used to catch and support the cut slices or the successive building up disk package while it is advanced in the receiving area 5 in the feed direction.
  • the disc support 15 is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation 16 which extends within the plane of a side wall 17 of the receiving shaft 7.
  • a two-part bracket 18 of the disk support 15 is bolted to the side wall 17. While a package of cut-off disks forms in the receiving region 5, the disk-supported support 15, in particular its support element 14 coming into contact with the first cut-off wheel, makes a circular movement about the axis of rotation 16, illustrated by a FIG. 2 As the axis of rotation 16 extends at a right angle to the shelf 9, a lower edge 20 of the support member 14 always retains the same minimum distance from the shelf 9 during the pivoting movement.
  • the disc support 15 has a support arm 21 and a return arm 22 which are arranged on opposite sides of the axis of rotation 16.
  • the support arm 21 is connected at its free end to the support member 14, whereas the free end of the return arm 22 is provided with a counterweight means 23 in the form of a barrel-shaped counterweight 24 and a stop member 25 disposed thereon.
  • the support arm 21 with the support element 14 is located within the receiving area 5, whereas the return arm 22 with the counterweight device 23 in a space behind the side wall 17, that is covered within the machine housing 2, is located.
  • the support element 14 - in particular its front side facing the cutting device - consists of three sections, namely a middle section 27, a catch section 28 and a late support section 29.
  • the middle section 27 extending parallel to the knife plane, the support arm 21 closes against the support element 14 at.
  • the catching portion 28 connects, which extends at an angle of about 15 ° to 25 ° inclined to the knife plane.
  • the central portion 27 extends in the start position parallel to the knife plane, its orientation changes in the course of the rotation of the disk support 15 about the rotation axis 16 continuously.
  • the late support portion 29 is inclined at an angle of about 25 ° to 30 ° to the blade plane and directed away from this.
  • the "automatic" of the return pivoting of the disc support 15 - after the disc package was removed from the receiving shaft 7 after completion of the cutting process - is due to the inclination of the side wall 17 and thus also the axis of rotation 18 of the disc support 15 with respect to a vertical arrangement.
  • the counterweight 24 is always endeavored, in the Figures 1 and 2 assumed starting position in which the support member 14 of the disc support 15 is arranged in the start position and the stop element 25 rests against the back of the side wall 17.
  • the amount of counterforce applied to the forming disk pack by the counterweight during the cutting operation can be adjusted by varying the distance of the counterweight 24 from the axis of rotation 16 by displacement.
  • the counterweight 24 determines, in particular, the force component exerted during the return, which exerts a restoring torque about the axis of rotation 16 on the disk support 15.
