  • the profile of the cam surface 11 must be the suitable one so that, if the rotation of the auxiliary latch 4 in the closing direction of the hood occurs, as depicted in Figure 8 , as a consequence of running over a pedestrian, the auxiliary catch 5, due to the contact of the support surface 10 on the cam surface 11, is not shifted in the direction in which its appendage 7a manages to be arranged such that it can cooperate mechanically with the protrusion 8a of the auxiliary latch 4. In other words, it must be assured that the auxiliary latch 4 can shift without obstacles in the closing direction of the hood.

Claims (7)

  1. Verriegelungsvorrichtung (1) für eine Motorhaube eines Kraftfahrzeugs, umfassend eine Sperrklinke (6) und eine Drehfalle (2), welche durch den Verriegelungsanker (3) einer Motorhaube während des Schließvorgangs derselben betätigbar ist und welche sich mit der Sperrklinke (6) in einer geschlossenen Stellung der Verriegelungsvorrichtung verrastet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie eine zusätzliche Sicherungsfalle (4) umfasst, welche sich zusammen mit der Falle dreht, und eine entsprechende, sich auch drehende zusätzliche Sicherungssperrklinke (5), beansprucht durch eine zusätzliche Betätigungsfeder (16) gemäß einer ersten Drehrichtung und versehen mit Rastmitteln (7), welche dafür bestimmt sind, mechanisch mit komplementären Anschlagmitteln (8) zusammenzuwirken, welche in der zusätzlichen Sicherungsfalle vorgesehen sind, um die Drehung der Falle zu unterbrechen, wenn die zusätzliche Sicherungsfalle und die zusätzliche Sicherungssperrklinke gleichzeitig eine jeweilige vorbestimmte Winkelposition annehmen, wobei die zusätzliche Falle mit Mitteln (9) versehen ist, welche eine Drehbewegung auf die zusätzliche Sicherungssperrklinke übertragen, wenn die Falle vom Verriegelungsanker der Motorhaube während des genannten Schließvorgangsgedrückt wird, und wobei die zusätzliche Betätigungsfeder derart kalibriert wird, dass in einer ersten Phase der Drehbewegung, und unter einer anfänglichen Überwindung der von der zusätzlichen Betätigungsfeder darauf ausgeübten Kraft, die zusätzliche Sperrklinke die vorbestimmte Winkelposition erreicht, in welcher die Rastmittel in der Lage sind mechanisch mit den Anschlagmitteln der zusätzlichen Falle zusammenzuwirken und somit die Drehung der Falle zu unterbrechen; während in einer nachfolgenden Phase die von der zusätzlichen Betätigungsfeder (16) auf der zusätzlichen Sicherungssperrklinke (5) ausgeführte Drückwirkung ausreichend ist, um sie gemäß der ersten Drehrichtung zum Drehen zu bringen, so dass automatisch die Rastmittel (7) vom Weg der zusätzlichen Sicherungsfalle (4) wegbewegt werden, so dass somit die freie Drehung der Falle erlaubt wird, wenn, nach dem Schließen der Motorhaube, sie vom Verriegelungsanker der Motorhaube erneut betätigt wird, zum Beispiel, wenn sich die Letztere in die Schließrichtung verschiebt infolge eines Aufpralls oder des Überfahrens eines Fußgängers.
  2. Vorrichtung (1) nach dem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rastmittel (7) einen in der zusätzlichen Sicherungssperrklinke (5) gebildeten Fortsatz (7a) umfassen und dass die komplementären Anschlagmittel (8) einen in der zusätzlichen Sicherungsfalle (4) gebildeten Vorsprung (8a) umfassen, dimensioniert in einer geeigneten Weise, damit der Fortsatz den Weg des Vorsprungs behindert, wenn die zusätzliche Sicherungsfalle und die zusätzliche Sicherungssperrklinke gleichzeitig die genannten vorbestimmten Winkelpositionen annehmen.
  3. Vorrichtung (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel (9) zur Übertragung einer Bewegung auf die zusätzliche Sicherungssperrklinke (5) eine Rampe (9a) umfassen, welche in der zusätzlichen Sicherungsfalle (4) angeordnet ist, und welche dafür geeignet ist, eine entsprechende Stützfläche (10), welche zu diesem Zweck in der zusätzlichen Sicherungssperrklinke vorgesehen ist, zu einem Initiierungszeitpunkt zu verschieben oder anzutreiben.
  4. Vorrichtung (1) nach dem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass, wenn die Stützfläche (10) der zusätzlichen Sperrklinke (5) das obere Ende der Rampe (9a) erreicht, welche in der zusätzlichen Falle (4) angeordnet ist, der in der zusätzlichen Sperrklinke (5) gebildete Fortsatz (7a) im Weg des in der zusätzlichen Falle (4) gebildeten Vorsprungs (8a) angeordnet ist, wobei es ein Spiel (20) zwischen dem genannten Fortsatz und dem Körper der zusätzlichen Falle in die Drehrichtung der zusätzlichen Sperrklinke gibt.
  5. Vorrichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel (9) zur Übertragung einer Bewegung auf die zusätzliche Sicherungssperrklinke (5) eine Erhebung (9b) umfassen, welche in der zusätzlichen Sicherungsfalle (4) angeordnet ist, und welche dafür geeignet ist, auf eine entsprechende, zu diesem Zweck in der zusätzlichen Sicherungssperrklinke vorgesehene Stützfläche (10) während des Initiierungszeitpunkts aufzuprallen.
  6. Vorrichtung (1) nach den Ansprüchen 3 und 5, oder 4 und 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zusätzliche Betätigungsfeder (16) die zusätzliche Sicherungssperrklinke (5) gegen einen Anschlagstab anliegend hält, so dass die genannte zusätzliche Sperrklinke in einer vorbestimmten statischen Position gehalten wird, bevor die zusätzliche Falle (4) die Winkelposition erreicht, in welcher die Rampe (9a) oder die Erhebung (9b) die Stützfläche (10) der zusätzlichen Sicherungssperrklinke verschiebt oder antreibt.
  7. Vorrichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 3, 4 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Mittel (9) zur Übertragung einer Bewegung auf die zusätzliche Sicherungssperrklinke (5) auf einer Nockenfläche (11) erstrecken, welche dafür bestimmt ist, die Stützung der Stützfläche (10) der zusätzlichen Sperrklinke zu empfangen, wenn die Motorhaube ihre normale Schließposition erreicht, wobei das Profil der genannten Nockenfläche dasjenige ist, welches, im Falle dass die zusätzliche Sicherungsfalle (4) in die mit dem Schließen der Motorhaube assoziierten Richtung betätigt wird, die zusätzliche Sicherungssperrklinke (5) nicht in die Richtung verschiebt, die derjenigen entgegengesetzt ist, welche von der zusätzlichen Betätigungsfeder (16) darauf ausgeübt wird.
