Claims (6)

  1. Matériau de boîtier pour un projectile explosif (1), une grenade ou similaire avec formation d'éclats, le matériau étant une mousse métallique (5), les espaces creux (8) de la mousse métallique (5) étant remplis d'un matériau de remplissage (6),
    * la mousse métallique (5) pouvant être composée de différents métaux et formant la structure de base pour l'enveloppe du projectile et du boîtier ainsi que l'élément porteur pour le matériau de remplissage (6),
    * des nervures (7) de la mousse métallique (5) formant des points de rupture voulus dans le matériau de remplissage (6),
    * lors de la détonation de la substance explosive, le matériau (5) étant déchiré le long de ces points de rupture voulus (7) et les nervures (7) entre le matériau de remplissage (6) agissant comme des fissures ou des points de rupture voulus dans le matériau de remplissage (6),
    * le matériau de remplissage (6) présentant une certaine dureté afin de se rompre au niveau de ces fissures, de sorte que le matériau de remplissage (6) se disloque lors de la rupture des nervures (7) et que les éclats qui se forment ainsi sont accélérés par la pression.
  2. Matériau de boîtier selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que des céramiques et leurs liants, des aciers ou d'autres variétés de métaux font office de matériau de remplissage (6).
  3. Matériau de boîtier selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le nombre d'éclats ainsi que le poids des éclats sont réglables de manière ciblée par les espaces creux (8) dans la mousse métallique (5).
  4. Matériau de boîtier selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que des éclats relativement clairement définis sont produits sur toute l'enveloppe du projectile ou des zones choisies.
  5. Matériau de boîtier selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que la taille des pores et ainsi la taille des éclats peuvent être déterminées et conçues lors du processus de fabrication de la mousse métallique (5) de telle sorte que les valeurs de solidité qui sont imposées au projectile ou à l'enveloppe du projectile ou du boîtier sont non seulement respectées, mais peuvent également être personnalisées en fonction de ces valeurs.
  6. Matériau de boîtier selon l'une des revendications 2 à 5, caractérisé en ce que les matériaux utilisés comme matériau de remplissage (6) peuvent être adaptés en commun avec les propriétés de matériau de la mousse métallique (5), par exemple en tenant compte des densités, des coefficients de dilatation thermique, des valeurs de la solidité, de la plage de températures en référence aux exigences imposées à l'enveloppe du projectile.
