Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for applying a fluid to a textile web with transport means for transporting the web in the transport direction and an applicator for the metered application of a fluid to the web.
  • a blanket-blade coating can be used, in which the web is passed over a circumferential blanket and the fluid is applied with a doctor blade.
  • the most widely used coating technology is the so-called Foulard.
  • Foulard The associated universal application of impregnating liquors to fabrics and knitwear as well as non-wovens of all kinds has to date been replaced by no other application process.
  • the padder consists of a chassis or net trough and at least two rubberized rollers between which the web, which is wetted or impregnated in the chassis with an excess aqueous liquor, is squeezed to a defined water content. The remaining with this water content on the goods dyes and chemicals in the subsequent dry and Fixing process to the desired effects. Note the filling of the chassis, which remains at the end of the impregnation process.
  • the amount of liquor referred to as system filling depends on the filling volume of the chassis and the supply lines and the storage tank, in which at the end of the process usually an excess of impregnating liquor in the order of 10 to 50 L is present.
  • the residual bath is taken up in some cases with so-called Nacheuxrn.
  • Trailers are used textile webs that are no longer in sale and extend the end of the lot for quality or protection reasons. They therefore often have at least the length of the system, through which the textile web is continuously and without stopping. Usually they are used several times, for example as a precursor and follower of bleaching or dyeing parties. If they have been used as finish for finishing and treated with water repellents, they can not be reused. They are then disposed of as textile waste. With a basis weight of the Nachêtrs of 300 g / m of residual moisture after the foulard passage of 80% 50 m follower are required to completely absorb 12 L residual bath. The residual value of the textile, the disposal costs, the costs of the chemicals and also the use of energy for subsequent drying in the tenter make such a procedure in the finish appear very questionable.
  • the impregnation process is composed in the standard chassis from the immersion path through the impregnation and an additional network path between the bath surface and the Foulardwalzencru.
  • the squeezed impregnating bath and the aqueous solution or dispersion entrained in excess from the bath flow in opposite directions to the goods in the chassis.
  • This represents a significant contribution to the complete wetting ( penetration) of the web with the impregnating bath.
  • the DE 197 35 980 A1 further describes a curtain coater for use in coating photographic printing paper wherein a paint curtain film is brought into contact with an endless web traveling in an inclined plane.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a device for applying a fluid to a textile web, which allows a lossless and resource-saving application of a fluid, without having to accept losses in the quality of the web.
  • the device according to the invention for applying a fluid to a textile material web consists essentially of transport means for transporting the web in the transport direction, an applicator for metered application of the fluid to the web and a mesh level to support the web during the application of the fluid, wherein the network level as inclined plane is formed and the applicator is arranged above the inclined plane.
  • the web is supported on the inclined plane, so that the "elongation" of the web can be largely avoided because the web does not have to be pulled out of a fluid-filled trough up.
  • the order of the fluid happens rather in the region of the inclined plane where the web is supported and by the inclination of the inclined plane a uniform distribution of the fluid over the web width can be guaranteed.
  • a precise metering can be made possible so that no residual liquor remains at the end of the process.
  • At least one sensor for detecting the fluid applied to the material web and a control device for controlling the application device in response to a sensor signal generated by the sensor is provided, wherein the control device is in communication with the application device for the same in response to a sensor signal generated by the sensor.
  • the inclined plane for the web in the transport direction can either represent a slope or be inclined downwards.
  • the inclination of the inclined plane is adjustable.
  • the control can take place, for example, in that the application device can be moved in or against the transport direction of the web, so that an optimal arrangement of the applicator with respect to the inclined plane can be achieved to distribute the fluid optimally across the width of the web and Ensure that only as much fluid is applied as necessary. Furthermore, however, a movability of the application device in combination with a quantitative regulation is conceivable.
  • the inclined plane can be formed by at least one moving belt with the web or as a fixed sliding surface. It can also be provided two conveyor belts, wherein the web is guided between the two conveyor belts.
  • the inclined plane may furthermore have a surface structure which is a fluid flow directed inwards from the edge, ie towards the center of the inclined plane generated. In this way acts on the applied fluid, a component of movement to the lower end of the inclined plane and a component of movement in the middle of the inclined plane, so that a very uniform distribution of the fluid can be ensured.
  • the applicator can also have side boundaries to limit the wetting to the width of the web. These side boundaries are preferably adjustable to allow adaptation to different widths of the webs. Furthermore, it can be provided that the applicator is additionally mounted below the web for producing a sliding film.
  • the web is dewatered by means of one or more rollers in that the conveyor belt partially wraps around one or more rollers.
  • the conveyor belt partially wraps around one or more rollers.
  • the inclined plane is sieve-like structured and below the inclined plane can be provided a movable in the transport direction suction. As a result, unabsorbed or squeezed fluid can be absorbed.
  • the applicator is according to an embodiment via leads directly to at least one reservoir for the fluid to be applied in combination. In this way, after the fluid application no residual amount that would be disposed of. The fluid still in the supply lines can then flow back into the storage container.
  • the above-described apparatus for applying a fluid may conveniently be arranged on both a vertical padder or a horizontal padder.
  • Fig. 1 Device for applying a fluid to a web 1 shown essentially consists of means 2 for transporting the web in the transport direction 3, an applicator 4 for the metered application of a fluid 5 to the web 1 and a mesh level 6 to support the web of applying the fluid.
  • the network path is formed as an inclined plane and is formed in the illustrated embodiment by a co-rotating with the web conveyor belt 6a.
  • the web conveyor belt 6a can be arranged transversely to the transport direction 3 of the web.
  • the transport means 2 for transporting the web are formed in the illustrated embodiment by one or more driven rollers, which may be provided with a spreading device and can be operated with an overfeed.
  • the application device 4 is arranged above the inclined plane and can be moved in or against the transport direction 3.
  • the application device is connected via supply lines 7a, 8a, 9a with storage containers 7, 8 and 9 in connection. Via pumps 7b, 8b and 9b, the fluid in the desired amount and the desired mixing ratio of the applicator 4 is supplied.
  • a sensor 10 for detecting the fluid 5 applied to the material web and a control device, not shown, are provided, wherein the control device is in communication with the application device 4 for moving the same as a function of a sensor signal generated by the sensor 10.
  • the control device is in communication with the application device 4 for moving the same as a function of a sensor signal generated by the sensor 10.
  • the inclination of the inclined plane is preferably adjustable in order to be able to influence the action and wetting distance.
  • the inclined plane represents 6 for the web in the transport direction of a slope.
  • a spreading device 12 is provided in the illustrated embodiment, before the web 1 is passed through two padder rollers 13, 14, which serve to drain the web. The squeezed by the padder rollers 13, 14 liquid flows back over the inclined plane and is used for wetting the subsequent part of the web.
  • Fig. 2 shows a schematic sectional view in the region of the application device 4.
  • This designed as a casting application device has an overflow weir 4a with a saw toothing to ensure a uniform over the width as possible fluid discharge.
  • lateral boundaries 4b and 4c provided, which limit the wetting width and are adjustable to the width of the web. From the Fig. 2 is also the slightly V-shaped profile of the conveyor belt 6a visible, whereby the inward, that is directed towards the center fluid flow is made possible.
  • the inclined plane is formed as a fixed sliding surface 6b, which is expediently adjustable in its inclination.
  • an application device is also provided on the underside, which cooperate with sensors 15 provided on both sides of the sliding plane.
  • an application device 4 is provided, which is optionally arranged stationary or movable.
  • the application device 4 can in turn be connected via supply lines directly or via a mixing device 16.
  • the total amount of liquor in the system (mixing device and supply lines) should expediently be less than 5 L.
  • the mixing device 16 and the supply lines are deliberately driven empty to the rest of the order of the fluid to the web.
  • the last liters of fluid are then in the commissioned work 4 and are then taken up by the last meters of web.
  • the mixing device 16 and the supply lines 7a-9a are charged with water after the end of the batch and cleaned. With the web running, only a few meters of intermediate runners are required before the next batch can be wetted with fresh fluid. The dewatering of the web takes place in this embodiment by already existing padder rollers 13, 14th
  • Fig. 4 shows a third embodiment, in which the inclined plane is in turn formed by a conveyor belt 6c, which is guided here via one of the padder rollers 14.
  • This elastic products are impregnated completely without tension, because they are moved at the same speed over the network line, which is also intended as the goods speed for the process.
  • a further modification consists in that, instead of or in addition to the padder rollers 13, 14, a suction device 17 is provided in order to dewater the wetted material web 1.
  • the suction device 17 can be arranged at the end of the inclined plane above the same. If the inclined plane is structured like a sieve, the suction device can also be arranged below the inclined plane.
  • the aspirated fluid is preferably returned immediately to the applicator 4 by direct pumping.
  • the inclined plane can also be formed by two conveyor belts, wherein the web 1 is guided between the two conveyor belts 6c, 6d, as in Fig. 4 indicated by dashed lines.
  • the most diverse materials such as rubber, plastic, preferably poly or perfluoro-carbon polymers, a composite or metal, especially precious metal, into consideration.
  • a composite or metal especially precious metal, into consideration.
  • a fixed sliding surface in particular glass, laminated glass or ceramic materials can be used.
  • the device described above can be used both in an existing vertical padder and in a horizontal padder, wherein the chassis is dispensed with. Furthermore, a "wet-in-wet” application is possible in which the order of the chemicals via a differential moisture control, which is particularly interesting for knitwear, as by the reduced weight gain, the goods voltage even further can be reduced. Also from an energetic point of view, a "wet-in-wet” application makes sense, as the intermediate drying of the material web is eliminated and the heat energy (and process time) to be applied can be saved.
