Claims (6)

  1. Imprimante à jet d'encre, comportant

    le moyen absorbeur d'encre (4) étant placé sur le châssis de l'imprimante à jet d'encre, entre le poste de maintenance (3) et le logement de tête d'impression (12), dans la dernière partie de l'imprimante à jet d'encre, en un endroit devant lequel le poste de maintenance (3) déplaçable dans au moins une direction peut passer,
    par ailleurs au moyen des éléments d'essuyage (1311), pendant le passage à l'avant, de l'encre pouvant être distribuée sur le moyen absorbeur d'encre (4), et
    l'encre étant susceptible d'être absorbée passivement à l'intérieur du moyen absorbeur d'encre (4), qui est un ensemble d'éponges (1.4), constitué d'un support d'éponge (14), d'un corps d'éponge (142) et d'une tôle de retenue (144), le corps d'éponge liant l'encre par absorption sur la base de l'effet capillaire connu en soi.
  2. Appareil d'impression à jet d'encre selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le corps d'éponge (142) est fabriqué dans un matériau synthétique biodégradable.
  3. Appareil d'impression à jet d'encre selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la partie frontale du support d'éponge (14) est plate sur le dessus et que vers le bas elle soit en forme de caisson comportant une ouverture (140) dirigée vers le bas, ladite ouverture ayant une largeur B et une longueur L avec une forme dimensionnelle rectangulaire.
  4. Appareil d'impression à jet d'encre selon les revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le support d'éponge (14) comporte dans le caisson (141) une ouverture (140) longitudinale approximativement rectangulaire, dont la surface de la section rétrécit vers l'intérieur.
  5. Appareil d'impression à jet d'encre selon les revendications 1 et 3, caractérisé en ce que le corps d'éponge (142) comporte une forme qui diminue de manière cunéiforme dans le sens du fond de l'ouverture (140) et qui présente superficiellement une forme rectangulaire arrondie assortie à l'ouverture (140) du support d'éponge.
  6. Appareil d'impression à jet d'encre selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il s'agit d'une machine de traitement de courrier, d'une machine d'adressage et/ou d'une affranchisseuse.
