Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Brandschutzriegelelement nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
- Es sind bereits Brandschutzriegel aus polymeren Materialien bekannt, durch deren Verwendung in einer Wärmedämmung einer Hausfassade im Falle eines Brandes eine Gefahr eines Feuerüberschlags zu einem nächsthöheren Stockwerk verringert werden soll.
- Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Brandschutzriegelelement aus Polyurethanschaum (PUR-Schaum) und/oder Polyisocyanuratschaum (PIR-Schaum), insbesondere für Wärmedämm-Verbundsysteme (WDVS) an Gebäuden und insbesondere für Wärmedämm-Verbundsysteme mit Wärmedämm-Elementen, die zumindest teilweise aus einem thermoplastischen Material bestehen.
- Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Brandschutzriegelelement eine homogene Rohdichte aufweist. Durch eine homogene Rohdichte kann neben einem gewährleisteten guten Brandschutz bei einer vorgegebenen Isolationsstärke eine besonders gute Wärmedämmung erzielt werden. Unter einer "Rohdichte", angegeben in kg/m3, soll in diesem Zusammenhang insbesondere eine Dichte eines Materials verstanden werden, zu deren Ermittlung das Porenvolumen im Materialvolumen mit einbezogen wird. Unter einer "homogenen" Rohdichte soll in diesem Zusammenhang insbesondere verstanden werden, dass in einer Verteilung von Messwerten der Rohdichte, die an Probevolumina in Form von Würfeln mit einer Kantenlange von zehn Millimetern bestimmt wird, die aus einem Teil des Brandschutzriegelelements von einer parallel zu einer äußeren Oberfläche liegenden Mittelebene durch einen Volumenmittelpunkt bis zu der äußeren Oberfläche gewonnen werden, mindestens 70% der ermittelten Messwerte der Rohdichte in einem Intervall von ±20%, insbesondere in einem Intervall von ±10%, um einen statistischen Mittelwert liegen. Der "Volumenmittelpunkt" soll in diesem Zusaznmenhang insbesondere als identisch mit einem Schwerpunkt des Brandschutzriegelelements bei einer als konstant angenommenen Rohdichte verstanden werden. Insbesondere ist das Brandschutzriegelelement folienfrei ausgebildet, wobei unter einer "Folie" insbesondere ein dünnschichtiges, d.h. insbesondere weniger als fünf Millimeter dickes, insbesondere auch ohne Trägermaterial zusammenhängendes Element verstanden werden soll.
- Ferner wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Rohdichte der Brandschutzriegelelemente größer als 26 kg/m3 und geringer als 80 kg/m3 ist, wodurch vorteilhaft ein guter Brandschutz und gleichzeitig eine besonders gute Wärmedämmung erreicht werden.
- In einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung weist das Brandschutzriegelelement eine Form auf, die im Wesentlichen einem prismatischen Körper, insbesondere einem Quader, entspricht. Durch eine solche Form lassen sich die Brandschutzriegelelemente besonders einfach anordnen und ein Brandschutz schnell und einfach aufbauen. Unter "im Wesentlichen" soll in diesem Zusammenhang verstanden werden, dass bei einer Quaderform ein in einer Querschnittsfläche einbeschriebenes Rechteck mindestens 98% der Querschnittsfläche überdeckt. Bei einem prismatischen Körper soll dasselbe für ein einbeschriebenes Vieleck gelten, wobei eine Anzahl von Ecken des Vielecks einer Anzahl von Mantelflächen des Brandschutzriegelelements entsprechen soll.
- Weiterhin wird vorgeschlagen, dass zumindest eine Befestigungsfläche des Brandschutzriegelelements von einer offenporigen Oberfläche, insbesondere von einer Schnittoberfläche, gebildet ist. Durch die offenen Poren der Oberfläche lässt sich eine besonders gute Verarbeitbarkeit und Möglichkeit zur Befestigung insbesondere an einem Gebäude und insbesondere bei einem Aufbringen einer Haftvermittlerschicht erreichen.
- Mit besonderem Vorteil weist zumindest eine äußere Oberfläche des Brandschutzriegelelements eine Beschichtung zum Schutz vor UV-Strahlung auf. Durch die Beschichtung wird eine Degradation von Eigenschaften des Brandschutzriegelelements und insbesondere seines oberflächennahen Materials während einer Aufbauphase, in der das Brandsehutzriegelelement einer UV-Strahlung ausgesetzt sein kann, verhindert. Unter einer "Beschichtung" soll in diesem Zusammenhang ein Aufbringen eines formlosen Materials, insbesondere im Unterschied zu einem Anbringen einer Schickt aus einem formbehafteten Material, auf die äußere Oberfläche verstanden werden, und zwar insbesondere durch ein Sprüh- oder Streichverfahren, wobei dem Fachmann abhängig von dem verwendeten Material gängige Methoden bekannt sind.
- Besonders vorteilhaft haften Beschichtungen aus einem Material zum Zweck einer farblichen Gestaltung und/oder zur Befestigung zwischenträgerfrei auf dem Brandschutzriegelelement, wodurch ein besonders einfacher Aufbau eines Brandschutzes ermöglicht wird. Vorteilhaft können Putzaufbauten direkt auf den Brandschutzriegelelementen aufgetragen werden, wodurch sich auf besonders einfache Weise Außenfassaden von Gebäuden mit Brandschutzriegelelementen erstellen lassen.
- Ferner wird vorgeschlagen, dass eine Materialstärke in zumindest einem Randbereich des Brandschutzriegelelements zur Herstellung einer formschlüssigen Verbindung verringert ist, wodurch sich eine einfache und sichere Anbringung von Brandschutzriegelelementen erreichen lässt. Durch eine geeignete Ausgestaltung können benachbarte Brandschutzriegelelemente einander teilweise überdeckend angeordnet werden, wodurch außerdem einer Bildung von Kältebrücken an Randbereichen der Brandschutzriegelelemente vorteilhaft entgegengewirkt werden kann. Vorteilhaft kann die formschlüssige Verbindung benachbarter Brandschutzriegelelemente durch einstückig mit den jeweiligen Brandschutzriegelelementen ausgebildete Teile einer Nut-/Feder-Verbindung gebildet sein.
- Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Brandschutzriegelelemente eine Materialstärke von mehr als 100 mm aufweisen, wodurch ein besonders guter Brandschutz erreicht wird. Durch eine solche Materialstärke kann auch eine besonders gute, bündige Anpassung der Brandschutzriegelelemente an weitere, zur Wärmedämmung an einem Gebäude angebrachte Wärmedämm-Elemente erzielt werden. Vorteilhaft beträgt die Materialstärke der Brandschutzriegelelemente mehr als 120 mm, besonders vorteilhaft mehr als 150 mm.
- In einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung beträgt eine Höhenabmessung des Brandschutzriegelelements mehr als 150 mm. Dadurch lässt sich ein wirksamer Brandschutz auf besonders einfache Weise aufbauen. Vorteilhaft weist das Brandschutzriegelelement eine Höhe von mehr als 180 mm, mit besonderem Vorteil von mehr als 200 mm auf.
- Mit besonderem Vorteil wird ein Brandschutzriegel aus Brandschutzriegelelementen gebildet, bei dem die Brandschutzriegelelemente oberhalb von Gebäudeöffnungen und zumindest in einer Gesamtlänge angebracht sind, die einer Breite der Gebäudeöffnung entspricht, wodurch ein wirksamer Brandschutz für den Fall von aus den Gebäudeöffnungen nach oben herausschlagenden Flammen erreicht wird. Unter "oberhalb von Gebäudeöffnungen" soll in diesem Zusammenhang insbesondere verstanden werden, dass die senkrecht nach unten projizierte Breite des Brandschutzriegels die Breite der Gebäudeöffnung vollständig überdeckt.
- Des Weiteren wird ein Brandschutzriegel aus Brandschutzriegelelementen vorgeschlagen, wobei die Brandschutzriegelelemente in einer gleich bleibenden Höhe um ein Gebäude umlaufend angebracht sind, wodurch rund um das Gebäude ein lückenloser Brandschutz erreicht wird. Vorzugsweise ist der umlaufende Brandschutzriegel oberhalb von Gebäudeöffnungen positioniert, wodurch ein besonders effektiver Brandschutz im Falle von aus den Gebäudeöffnungen nach oben herausschlagenden Flammen erzielt werden kann. Vorteilhaft kann eine Ausbreitung eines Feuers durch die nach oben herausschlagenden Flammen und insbesondere ein Herabregnen von geschmolzenem, thermoplastischem Wärmedämm-Material vermieden werden, wenn zwischen Ebenen, in denen die Gebäudeöffnungen des Gebäudes angeordnet sind, mindestens ein vollständig umlaufender Brandschutzriegel aus Brandschutzriegelelementen an der Fassade angebracht ist.
- Es wird weiterhin eine Gebäudeisolierung mit zumindest einem Brandschutzriegel aus Brandschutzriegelelementen vorgeschlagen, wobei die Brandschutzriegelelemente mit Wärmedämm-Elementen verbunden sind, die aus zumindest einem anderen Material bestehen. Auf diese Weise lässt sich eine Gebäudefassade mit einem Brandschutz sehr einfach aufbauen. Vorzugsweise sind die Wärmedämm-Elemente aus dem anderen Material insbesondere zum Zweck der Wärmedämmung ausgestattet, so dass sich eine vollständige Wärmedämmung einer Gebäudefassade bei gleichzeitig gewährleistetem Brandschutz realisieren lässt. Vorzugsweise sind die Wärmedämm-Elemente aus dem anderen Material und die Brandschutzriegelelemente in ihren Materialstärken aufeinander abgestimmt, so dass eine übergangsfreie Gebäudefassade sehr einfach errichtet werden kann.
- Mit besonderem Vorteil sind die Brandschutzriegelelemente in einer Gebäudeisolierung mit zumindest einem Brandschutzriegel mit Wärmedämm-Elementen verbunden, die im Wesentlichen aus expandiertem Polystyrol-Hartschaum (EPS) und/oder extrudiertem Polystyrol-Hartschaum (XPS) bestehen. Auf diese Weise lässt sich eine gute Wärmedämmung eines Gebäudes in Verbindung mit einem wirksamen Brandschutz besonders einfach erreichen. Unter "im Wesentlichen" soll in diesem Zusammenhang verstanden werden, dass in den Wärmedämm-Elementen zumindest eines der beiden Materialien oder eine Mischung von expandiertem Polystyrol-Hartschaum (EPS) und/oder extrudiertem Polystyrol-Hartschaum (XPS) in einer mittleren Konzentration von mindestens 30 Volumenprozenten enthalten ist.
- Weitere Vorteile ergeben sich aus der folgenden Zeichnungsbeschreibung. In den Zeichnungen sind Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung dargestellt. Die Beschreibung und die Ansprüche enthalten zahlreiche Merkmale in Kombination. Der Fachmann wird'die Merkmale zweckmäßigerweise auch einzeln betrachten und zu sinnvollen weiteren Kombinationen zusammenfassen.

Fig. 1 zeigt einen Ausschnitt einer Fassade eines Gebäudes 38 in einer Höhe einer Zwischendecke in einer Schnittdarstellung. Die Zwischendecke liegt oberhalb einer als Fenster ausgebildeten Gebäudeöffnung 44 auf einem Fenstersturz auf. An einer Außenmauer 56 des Gebäudes 38 sind Brandschutzriegelelemente 10 in einem Abstand D von 150 mm zum Fenster in einer Gesamtlänge (senkrecht zur Zeichenebene) angebracht, die einer Breite des Fensters entspricht. Die Brandschutzriegelelemente 10 bestehen aus Polyisocyanurat (PIR)-Schaum und weisen eine homogene Rohdichte von 32 kg/m3 auf. Jedes Brandschutzriegelelement 10 ist in einer Form ausgestaltet, die im Wesentlichen einem prismatischen Körper, nämlich insbesondere einem Quader, entspricht. Seine rechteckige Querschnittsform besitzt eine Höhenabmessung H von 220 mm und eine Materialstärke M von 160 mm. - Jedes Brandschutzriegelelement 10 weist an allen Außenflächen, insbesondere an einer hauptsächlichen Befestigungsfläche 18 sowie an optionalen Befestigungsflächen 20, 22, offenporige Oberflächen auf und ist gebäudeseitig mittels einer Beschichtung 26 aus einem Material zur Befestigung ohne einen Zwischenträger an der Außenmauer 56 des Gebäudes 38 angebracht. Auf der nach innen zeigenden Befestigungsfläche 18 und einer nach außen zeigenden Oberfläche 24 jedes Brandschutzriegelelements 10 befindet sich jeweils eine Beschichtung 28, die während einer Aufbauphase zum Schutz vor UV-Strahlung dient. Auf der nach außen zeigenden Oberfläche 24 jedes Brandschutzriegelelements 10 ist ein nicht näher beschriebenes Putzsystem 30 ohne Zwischenträger zum Zweck einer farblichen Gestaltung und als Gebäudeschutz aufgetragen.
- In der
Fig. 2 ist eine weitere Ausführungsform eines Brandschutzriegelelements 12 mit einem im Wesentlichen parallelogrammförmigen Querschnitt dargestellt. Zur Verdeutlichung ist ein einbeschriebenes, geometrisch exaktes Parallelogramm abgebildet, das mehr als 98% der Querschnittsfläche abdeckt. - Die
Fig. 3 zeigt eine Draufsicht auf eine Verbindung von zwei nebeneinander angebrachten Brandschutzriegelelementen 14, 16, die in ihrem Randbereich Profile mit einer verringerten Materialstärke aufweisen, mit denen eine formschlüssige Verbindung 32 der beiden Brandschutzriegelelemente 14, 16 hergestellt wurde. Zur Sicherung wurde zusätzlich mittels eines Klebematerials, das ohne Zwischenträger auf die Brandschutzriegelelemente 14, 16 aufgetragen wurde, eine stoffschlüssige Verbindung 32 der Brandschutzriegelelemente 14, 16 hergestellt. - Die
Fig. 4 zeigt ein weiteres Gebäude 40, nämlich ein Mehrfamilienhaus, mit als Eingangstür und Fenster ausgebildeten üblichen Gebäudeöffnungen 46. Eine Außenfassade des Hauses weist Brandschutzriegel 34 aus Brandschutzriegelelementen 10 auf, die oberhalb der Gebäudeöffnungen 46 angebracht sind. Die Gesamtlänge der zu jeweils einem Brandschutzriegel 34 angeordneten Brandschutzriegelelemente 10 entspricht zumindest einer Breite der jeweiligen Gebäudeöffnung 46. Zur besseren Übersicht sind nur einige der Brandschutzriegelelemente 10 mit Bezugszeichen versehen; das Ausführungsbeispiel soll jedoch so verstanden werden, dass alle in gleicher Weise dargestellten Brandschutzriegel 34 in gleicher Weise aus Brandschutzriegelelementen 10 gebildet sind. - In der
Fig. 5 ist ein weiteres Gebäude 42, nämlich ein weiteres Mehrfamilienhaus, mit als Eingangstür und Fenster ausgebildeten üblichen Gebäudeöffnungen 48 dargestellt. In diesem Ausführungsbeispiel weist eine Außenfassade des Hauses eine Gebäudeisolierung 50 mit mehreren Brandschutzriegeln 36 aus Brandschutzriegelelementen 12 auf, wobei die Brandschutzriegelelemente 12 der Brandschutzriegel 36 jeweils in einer gleich bleibenden Höhe um das Haus umlaufend angebracht sind. Zur Realisierung eines besonders guten Brandschutzes umfasst die Gebäudeisolierung 50 zwischen den Gebäudeöffnungen 48 des ersten und zweiten Stockwerks zwei Brandschutzriegel 36 aus Brandschutzriegelelementen 12. Dabei sind die Brandschutzriegelelemente 12 nach oben und unten mit wärmedämm-Elementen 52, 54 verbunden, die aus einem anderen Material, nämlich im oberen Teil der Fassade aus expandiertem Polystyrol-Hartschaum (EPS) und im unteren Bereich der Fassade des Hauses aus extrudiertem Polystyrol-Hartschaum (XPS) bestehen. Zur besseren Übersicht sind nur einige der Brandschutzriegelelemente 12 und der Wärmedämm-Elemente 52, 54 mit Bezugszeichen versehen; das Ausführungsbeispiel soll jedoch so verstanden werden, dass alle in gleicher Weise dargestellten Brandschutzriegel 36 und Wärmedämm-Elemente 52, 54 in gleicher Weise ausgebildet sind. -

Claims (15)
- Brandschutzriegelelement (10; 12; 14, 16) aus Polyurethanschaum (PUR-Schaum) und/oder Polyisocyanuratschaum (PIR-Schaum), insbesondere für Wärmedämm-Verbundsysteme (WDVS) an Gebäuden (38; 40; 42) und insbesondere für Wärmedamm-Verbundsysteme mit Wärmedämm-Elementen (52, 54), die zumindest teilweise aus einem thermoplastischen Material bestehen,
gekennzeichnet durch
eine homogene Rohdichte. - Brandschutzriegelelement (10; 12; 14, 16) nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Rohdichte größer als 26 kg/m3 und geringer als 80 kg/m3 ist. - Brandschutzriegelelement (10; 12; 14, 16) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
gekennzeichnet durch
eine Form, die im Wesentlichen einem prismatischen Körper entspricht, insbesondere einem Quader. - Brandschutzriegelelement (10; 12; 14, 16) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
zumindest eine Befestigungsfläche (18, 20, 22) von einer offenporigen Oberfläche, insbesondere von einer Schnittoberfläche, gebildet ist. - Brandschutzriegelelement (10; 12; 14, 16) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
zumindest eine äußere Oberfläche (24) eine Beschichtung (28) zum Schutz vor UV-Strahlung aufweist. - Brandschutzriegelelement (10; 12; 14, 16) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
Beschichtungen (26) aus einem Material zum Zweck einer farblichen Gestaltung und/oder zur Befestigung zwischenträgerfrei haften. - Brandschutzriegelelement (10; 12; 14, 16) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
eine Materialstärke (M) in zumindest einem Randbereich zur Herstellung einer formschlüssigen Verbindung (32) verringert ist. - Brandschutzriegelelement (10; 12; 14, 16) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
gekennzeichnet durch
eine Materialstärke (M) von mehr als 100 mm. - Brandschutzriegelelement (10; 12; 14, 16) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
gekennzeichnet durch
eine Höhenabmessung (H) von mehr als 150 mm. - Brandschutzriegel (34; 36) aus Brandschutzriegelelementen (10; 12; 14, 16) nach zumindest einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Brandschutzriegelelemente (10; 12; 14, 16) oberhalb von Gebäudeöffnungen (44; 46; 48) und zumindest in einer Gesamtlänge angebracht sind, die einer Breite der Gebäudeöffnung (44; 46; 48) entspricht. - Brandschutzriegel (34; 36) aus Brandschutzriegelelementen (10; 12; 14, 16) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Brandschutzriegelelemente (10; 12; 14, 16) in einer gleich bleibenden Höhe um ein Gebäude (38; 40; 42) umlaufend angebracht sind. - Gebäudeisolierung (50) mit zumindest einem Brandschutzriegel (34; 36) aus Brandschutzriegelelementen (10; 12; 14, 16) nach zumindest einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Brandschutzriegelelemente (10; 12; 14, 16) mit Wärmcdämm-Elementen (52, 54) verbunden sind, die aus zumindest einem anderen Material bestehen. - Gebäudeisolierung (50) nach Anspruch 12,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Brandschutzriegelelemente (10; 12; 14, 16) mit Wärmedämm-Elementen (52, 54) verbunden sind, die im Wesentlichen aus expandiertem Polystyrol-Hartschaum (EPS) und/oder extrudiertem Polystyrol-Hartschaum (XPS) bestehen. - Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Brandschutzriegels (34; 36) nach Anspruch 10 oder 11,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
Brandschutzriegelelemente (10; 12; 14, 16) nebeneinander an einem Gebäude (38; 40; 42) angebracht werden. - Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Gebäudeisolierung (50) nach Anspruch 12 oder 13,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
Brandschutzriegelelemente (10; 12; 14, 16) mit Wärmedämm-Elementen (52, 54), die aus zumindest einem anderen Material bestehen, verbunden werden.
