Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of sliding carpentry devices such as sliding windows and patio doors and including adaptations to improve the insulation characteristics.
- the sliding doors are constituted by leaves or sliding glass panels called opening in a fixed frame called a frame which defines an opening closed or opened by the sliding of the opening.
- the operation of mounting the openings in the frame requires that the opening can enjoy freedom of movement in the upper cross member of the frame to allow a movement of engagement upward of the opening for allow it to be removed from the rails provided for this purpose on the bottom rail.
- This freedom of movement is particularly given by the dimensions of said recess which must be filled after assembly to provide insulation and to prevent disengagement.
- the thermal insulation and generally the protection against the external environment requires the presence of a barrier or means of filling avoiding the communication between the volumes separated by the openings to insulation purposes.
- These barriers are conventionally implemented by sealing means capable of coming into contact with the different constituent elements to be separated.
- these barriers are likely to hinder the installation of openings in high cross or their sliding on the lower cross of the frame. Indeed, the ends of the profiles of the openings, cooperate with that of the frame and in particular partially fill the central recess U. Any barrier in the recess of the lower crossbar is likely to hinder the movement of said openings.
- the thermal insulation problems of a sliding carpentry do not reside exclusively in the section constituting the sleeper sleepers.
- the contact area between the amount of the opening and the amount of the frame is hardly likely to receive insulation equipment because this part conventionally supports the components of the locking device of the opening.
- EP-A-1,726,765 discloses a sliding carpentry device comprising all the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the sliding carpentry device associating a frame with one or more sliding elements is remarkable in that the frame accommodates a thermal insulation profile consisting of at least two interconnected parts, a first part providing support and maintaining in position in the frame and a second part substantially parallel to the bottom of the U and positioning itself closer to the ends of the profile openings entering the central recess, the connection between the two parts being elastic by allowing the movement of the second part towards the first part and its return to position.
- This feature is particularly advantageous in that it is proposed with a single profile to ensure the insulation of the entire frame.
- the elasticity will allow the freedom of movement necessary for the engagement of the opening in the high cross. Under the action of the profile of the opening, the second part will move closer to the first and allow the passage of said profile. Returning to the starting position not only ensures good insulation after the assembly operation is completed, but also good insulation in the other parts of the frame, such as uprights and crosspieces.
- the second part of the insulation profile is not intended to come into rest position in contact with the profiles of the openings, the elasticity will prevent the insulation profile is a drag brake if it contact occurs.
- This insulating profile can cover the entire length of the frame element in which it is integrated.
- the insulation profile will ensure its function both in the amounts in the sleepers forming the frame.
- connection between the first and second parts is formed by two walls. This characteristic contributes to the partitioning of the recess and consequently to the optimization of the thermal barrier role of such a profile.
- said first portion is constituted by a horizontal wall bearing on the bottom of said U and whose edges form wings tending at a determined angle to approach the branches of the U in which the profile is registered.
- the first part also participates in the partitioning of the recess.
- connection between the first and second parts of the profile is formed by at least one wall of elastic material.
- the two walls are made of elastic material.
- said second part consists essentially of a wall substantially parallel to the bottom of said U and whose edges tend to abut the branches of said U.
- the carpentry device sliding member of the invention is remarkable in that at least one amount of the frame is composed of two parts: an aluminum part and a compartmental part of plastic material which covers the aluminum part and which proposes projections which, cooperating with the forms of the opening, will create compartments participating in thermal insulation.
- it comprises at least one striker constituting one of the elements of the locking device which is screwed onto the frame through the plastic part so as to ensure the attachment of the plastic part and that of the striker in the part aluminum.
- the sliding woodworking device of the invention is remarkable in that it comprises one or more partitioning profiles positioned in the recesses present in the profiles of the joinery and which adopt a geometry, ensuring in association with the inner surfaces of the profiles constituting in particular the sliding frame the partitioning into several compartments of the recess defined in said profiles.
- the drawing of the figure 1 shows a carpentry frame providing control of the opening of a window or a French window and composed of a frame 100 in which slide one or more glazed sliding frames 200 to pass the window of a position closed to an open position and vice versa the low cross member 110 of the fixed frame 100 comprises slides 111 on which the sliders 200 move in translation.
- the drawing of the figure 2 shows a cross section of the profiles forming the upper part of the carpentry of the figure 1 .
- This upper part comprises an upper cross member 120 of the fixed frame 100 with which the upper crosspieces of the sliding frames 200 cooperate.
- This crossbar 120 is broken down into two parts 300 and 400 connected by strips 510 and 520 of thermal break. These two parts 300 and 400 have projections 310 and 410 in the vertical plane and directed towards the cèntre of the frame. These projections are those which, on the lower cross member of the fixed frame 100, support the slides 111 on which the sliding frames 200 move.
- this crosspiece 120 and generally the frame 100 adopt a symmetrical structure in a vertical plane passing through the middle of the bars 510 and 520.
- the profiles constituting the upper sleepers of the sliding frames adopt a U-shaped profile whose branches are disposed on either side of the projections 310 and 410 formed by the profiles 300 and 400 of the frame 100.
- one of the branches of said U is positioned between the two projections and partially fills the recess 600.
- an insulation profile 700 is inserted into this recess 600.
- This insulation profile 700 consists of a first rigid part 710 participating in its positioning and its holding in position inside the U-shaped profile and a second flexible part 720 filling the recess formed by said U and tending to join the ends of the branches of the profiles of the upper sleepers of the sliding frames.
- This second portion 720 is substantially parallel to the bottom of the U.
- the insulation profile 700 is remarkable in that the connection between the two parts 710 and 720 is elastic is allowed the approximation of the latter thus allowing the operation of engagement of the openings in the frame during their installation. Similarly, this elasticity allows the return to position of the second part.
- two walls 721 and 722 provide the connection between the first and second parts.
- the first portion 710 consists of a flat portion substantially parallel to the bottom of the U and two lateral branches 711 and 712 tending flaring to come close to the two branches of the U formed by the frame 100.
- the two connecting walls 721 and 722 adopt a fold line L facilitating the bringing together of the two parts 710 and 720 of the section 700, approximation shown in FIG. figure 3 by the arrow F1.
- the second portion 720 has the shape of a convex arch whose edges 723 and 724 tend to join the branches of the U.
- the two lateral branches 711 and 712 of the first part 710 positioned at the bottom of the U associated with the two connecting walls 721 and 722 with the second part 720 whose edges adjoin the branches of the U implements a partitioning allowing the creation of five compartments C in the U-shaped recess which optimizes the thermal insulation function of this section 700.
- the face of the second portion 720 facing the bottom of the U is connected to the two connecting walls 721 and 722.
- the opposite face has two external projections 725 and 726 tending to join the ends 211 of the cross 210 of the opening 200 sliding in the frame 100 and partially filling the recess U. This feature has the advantage of reducing to a linear support the possible contact that could take place between the second part 720 and the opening.
- said second part and the two connecting walls are made of a flexible material adopting a hardness between 65 and 95 shore A.
- Such hardness associated with a suitable profile thickness on the one hand, and fold lines and connection points judiciously positioned on the other hand, allows to achieve the desired elasticity for the insulation profile of the invention.
- the first rigid part and the second flexible part as well as the connecting walls are linked because they are produced in one and the same coextrusion operation.
- the insulation profile of the invention can be positioned in all parts of the frame, but it is also realized in one and the same manufacturing operation.
- the carpentry device of the invention offers a gain in both simplicity of installation and cost of manufacture.
- the rigid portion and the flexible portion are made of PVC.
- the U-shaped recess formed by the frame 100 has, on its branches 310 and 410, an internal projection 311 and 411 whose distance relative to the bottom of the U ensures the holding in position of the first part 710 by retaining its lateral branches 711 and 712.
- these branches 711 and 712 will retract to allow the insertion of the profile 700 into the bottom of the U and then deploy to keep it in position. being in abutment against said projections thus forming a "clipping" type connection.
- said thermal insulation profile is fixed on the thermal break bar forming a portion of the U.

- This partition profile 900 adopts a U-shape of dimension less than the volume of the recess 212 of the profile 210 which receives it and whose upper and lower ends of the branches serve as a base for blades 910 extending angularly (here substantially 45 degrees) to come into contact with the inner surfaces of said cross member 210.
- the presence of this partition profile 900 allows the creation, in cooperation with the other elements of the profile of the cross member 210, four compartments C3.
- This partitioning profile is preferably made of plastic material and in particular PVC.
- the ribs of the various components of the thermal insulation profile are defined so that they do not come into contact with parts of the joinery. Nevertheless, most parts of the profile can be in contact with the parts of the joinery to which it tends, without preventing their function.

Description
The present invention relates to the field of sliding carpentry devices such as sliding windows and patio doors and including adaptations to improve the insulation characteristics.
Conventionally, the sliding doors are constituted by leaves or sliding glass panels called opening in a fixed frame called a frame which defines an opening closed or opened by the sliding of the opening.
- the thermal insulation between the part of the frame in contact with the outside and the part of frame in contact with the interior,
- mounting the doors inside the chassis,
- the flow of seepage water at the lower horizontal part of the frame.
The implementations of these functions can, depending on the part of the dormant concerned, lead to contradictory characteristics.
Indeed, the operation of mounting the openings in the frame requires that the opening can enjoy freedom of movement in the upper cross member of the frame to allow a movement of engagement upward of the opening for allow it to be removed from the rails provided for this purpose on the bottom rail. This freedom of movement is particularly given by the dimensions of said recess which must be filled after assembly to provide insulation and to prevent disengagement.
The thermal insulation and generally the protection against the external environment (dust, water, etc ...) requires the presence of a barrier or means of filling avoiding the communication between the volumes separated by the openings to insulation purposes. These barriers are conventionally implemented by sealing means capable of coming into contact with the different constituent elements to be separated. However, these barriers are likely to hinder the installation of openings in high cross or their sliding on the lower cross of the frame. Indeed, the ends of the profiles of the openings, cooperate with that of the frame and in particular partially fill the central recess U. Any barrier in the recess of the lower crossbar is likely to hinder the movement of said openings.
These different functions to implement depending on the part of the frame concerned have led the designers of such facilities to offer different sealing solutions depending on the part of dormant which has the consequences of increasing the installation time and to make more complex and more expensive the device.
The thermal insulation problems of a sliding carpentry do not reside exclusively in the section constituting the sleeper sleepers.
For example, the contact area between the amount of the opening and the amount of the frame, is hardly likely to receive insulation equipment because this part conventionally supports the components of the locking device of the opening.
In addition, the recesses formed in the amounts of the sliding and generally in any profile forming the joinery are likely to be better exploited to optimize the insulation. Although solutions exist, their insulating capacity and their mounting principle are likely to be improved.
The applicant has conducted research to optimize the implementation of these functions. This research has led to the design of a sliding carpentry device meeting the objectives of the invention by proposing not only an insulation solution that can be used on the different parts of the frame and matching, while optimizing , with the aforementioned functions but also an insulation solution for the contact area between the amounts of the frame and sliders and in the equipment of the various profiles forming said joinery.
According to the invention, the sliding carpentry device associating a frame with one or more sliding elements is remarkable in that the frame accommodates a thermal insulation profile consisting of at least two interconnected parts, a first part providing support and maintaining in position in the frame and a second part substantially parallel to the bottom of the U and positioning itself closer to the ends of the profile openings entering the central recess, the connection between the two parts being elastic by allowing the movement of the second part towards the first part and its return to position.
This feature is particularly advantageous in that it is proposed with a single profile to ensure the insulation of the entire frame. Indeed, the elasticity will allow the freedom of movement necessary for the engagement of the opening in the high cross. Under the action of the profile of the opening, the second part will move closer to the first and allow the passage of said profile. Returning to the starting position not only ensures good insulation after the assembly operation is completed, but also good insulation in the other parts of the frame, such as uprights and crosspieces. Similarly, although the second part of the insulation profile is not intended to come into rest position in contact with the profiles of the openings, the elasticity will prevent the insulation profile is a drag brake if it contact occurs.
This insulating profile can cover the entire length of the frame element in which it is integrated. In addition, in accordance with the objectives of the invention, the insulation profile will ensure its function both in the amounts in the sleepers forming the frame.
According to a particularly advantageous characteristic, the connection between the first and second parts is formed by two walls. This characteristic contributes to the partitioning of the recess and consequently to the optimization of the thermal barrier role of such a profile.
According to another characteristic, said first portion is constituted by a horizontal wall bearing on the bottom of said U and whose edges form wings tending at a determined angle to approach the branches of the U in which the profile is registered. By adopting this form, the first part also participates in the partitioning of the recess.
According to a particularly advantageous characteristic, the connection between the first and second parts of the profile is formed by at least one wall of elastic material. According to a preferred embodiment, the two walls are made of elastic material.
According to a particularly advantageous characteristic, said second part consists essentially of a wall substantially parallel to the bottom of said U and whose edges tend to abut the branches of said U.

Regarding the insulation of the contact area between the amounts of the frame and those of the sliding or sliding, (the frame comprising two uprights and two cross members, at least one of the uprights accommodating a locking device), the carpentry device sliding member of the invention is remarkable in that at least one amount of the frame is composed of two parts: an aluminum part and a compartmental part of plastic material which covers the aluminum part and which proposes projections which, cooperating with the forms of the opening, will create compartments participating in thermal insulation. According to another characteristic, it comprises at least one striker constituting one of the elements of the locking device which is screwed onto the frame through the plastic part so as to ensure the attachment of the plastic part and that of the striker in the part aluminum. Thus, although welcomed by the PVC part, the strike is fixed to the strongest part of the amount.
With regard to the insulation of the recesses formed inside the profiles and in particular inside the amounts of the sliding, the sliding woodworking device of the invention is remarkable in that it comprises one or more partitioning profiles positioned in the recesses present in the profiles of the joinery and which adopt a geometry, ensuring in association with the inner surfaces of the profiles constituting in particular the sliding frame the partitioning into several compartments of the recess defined in said profiles.

According to the preferred embodiment illustrated, this
According to the preferred embodiment, the profiles constituting the upper sleepers of the sliding frames adopt a U-shaped profile whose branches are disposed on either side of the
Conformément à l'invention, un profilé d'isolation 700 est inséré dans cet évidement 600.According to the invention, an
The face of the
According to a preferred embodiment, said second part and the two connecting walls are made of a flexible material adopting a hardness between 65 and 95 shore A. Such hardness associated with a suitable profile thickness on the one hand, and fold lines and connection points judiciously positioned on the other hand, allows to achieve the desired elasticity for the insulation profile of the invention.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the first rigid part and the second flexible part as well as the connecting walls are linked because they are produced in one and the same coextrusion operation. Thus not only the insulation profile of the invention can be positioned in all parts of the frame, but it is also realized in one and the same manufacturing operation. The carpentry device of the invention offers a gain in both simplicity of installation and cost of manufacture.
Selon un mode de réalisation préféré, la partie rigide et la partie souple sont en PVC.According to a preferred embodiment, the rigid portion and the flexible portion are made of PVC.
In order to facilitate said installation operation, the U-shaped recess formed by the
According to a non-illustrated embodiment, said thermal insulation profile is fixed on the thermal break bar forming a portion of the U. This attachment can be made by clipping.
According to another embodiment not illustrated, said thermal insulation profile forms a single piece with the thermal break bar forming a part of the U.
According to a particularly advantageous feature not shown, the good flow of water arriving in this area, is ensured by notches of 5x60 mm made every 200 mm in said profile.
This
It is understood that the sliding carpentry device, which has just been described above and shown, has been for the purpose of disclosure rather than limitation. Of course, various arrangements, modifications and improvements may be made to the example above, without departing from the scope of the invention, this scope being defined by the scope of the appended claims.
For example, for reasons of tolerancing, the ribs of the various components of the thermal insulation profile are defined so that they do not come into contact with parts of the joinery. Nevertheless, most parts of the profile can be in contact with the parts of the joinery to which it tends, without preventing their function.
