Definitions
- Such frames find a particularly advantageous application in the construction of closure frames used in the construction of buildings or the like.
- building closures such as doors and windows, generally consist of recessed frames in the masonry and closing elements that can be movable or fixed.
- Such frames are well known and consist of profiles, preferably of the type "thermal break" to avoid heat exchange between the interior and exterior of buildings.
- the chassis comprise, at least in the lower part, rails or the like on which rolls integral with the sliding sliders.
- the easiest way is to allow it to flow outwards, for example by recovering it at the bottom of the closure and leading it to a determined fluid communication path, which essentially consists of evacuation ports. made in the profiles constituting the frame of the closure.
- valve systems made to date are satisfactory, but all have a relatively large footprint, resulting in an elevation of the rail height due to the fact that the height of the valve or valves is mounted in series on the bases of thresholds or on the outer surfaces of the constituent walls of the rails, in the vertical direction.
- This configuration represents, for these valve systems, a major disadvantage constituted by the fact that the closures then comprise, in the lower part, relatively high profiles that constitute obstacles for people who have to go through these closures when they are open, and even more particularly for people with reduced mobility, for example in a wheelchair or with any other mobility assistance system.
- the rail according to this document is thus constituted by a horizontal wall of the central plastic element and an upper vertical wall of this element, completed by a vertical wall formed by the metal base and opposite to the upper vertical wall plastic .
- the central element of the plastic material threshold thus comprises a lower vertical central support wall defining a base of the plastic support rail on the metal base for the whole of the central zone of the insulating element, and two flat walls. monoblocs, on each side of an upper vertical wall, respectively constituting the two treads of the two sliding openings.
- the central plastic threshold element is dissociable from the threshold metal base, so that it comprises a drainage valve disposed on one side of the bottom central vertical wall of the base, and that can not be removed. mount only before assembly of the threshold base.
- the solution according to this document does not reduce the height of the rails and thus the height of the threshold because the constituent walls of the U-shaped rail are mounted in series above the valve in the vertical direction.
- the document WO98 / 40596 in correspondence with the preamble of claim 1 discloses a set of section elements which makes it possible to manufacture sliding window and door frames, which comprises a first series of section elements making it possible to manufacture fixed frames and / or movable with an angle of intersection of substantially 45 °, and a second series of section elements for manufacturing fixed and / or mobile frames with an angle of intersection of substantially 90 °.
- the fixed frame section elements comprise a pair of longitudinal rails in which casters mounted on the movable frames engage.
- the pairs of rails of the fixed frame section elements of the first series have a spacing equal to that of the rails of the section elements of the fixed frames of the second series, so that one can easily couple the fixed frames constituted by the section elements of the first series and the movable frames constituted by the section elements of the first or the second series.
- the present invention intended to provide, in the application context defined at the head of the present invention, a sliding-type closure frame or the like with fluid-only discharge means in a sense, which is a relatively simple structure, with elements easy to achieve and assemble, and therefore a low cost compared to other profiles of the same type, and which also has a footprint very low height to avoid the major drawback mentioned above profiles of the same type of the prior art.
- valve means within the inter-wall space makes it possible to use this space, previously unused for this purpose, and to very significantly reduce the height of the rail and thus of the profile, in that the height of the valve means can be placed in parallel and no longer in series as in the prior art with the height of other elements constituting the threshold, as the height of the constituent walls of the rail or the height of the frame of the opening guided on the rail.
- sliding or the like is meant a closure including if necessary several leaves, at least one of which is sliding.
- the inter-wall space is used for the movement of the strip, despite its limited accessibility and the narrowness of this space due for example because it is generally significantly smaller than the thickness of the frame. opening.
- This feature allows easy mounting and operation in one direction of the valve means in the inter-wall space.
- the means for mounting said partition in cooperation with said rail comprise at least one foot integral with said partition to form with it a substantially L-shaped piece and means for binding integrally, in said total inter-wall space, together said foot and said partition with said rail.
- This feature provides an advantageous solution for positioning and maintaining the valve means in the inter-wall space accessible only by a longitudinal slot in the top of the rail.
- said sliding leaf comprises a frame, part of which covers the outer surfaces of said first and second walls.
- valve means inside the inter-wall space makes it possible to very significantly reduce the height of the rail and thus of the profile, in that the height of the frame covering opening on the outer surfaces of the rail and the height of the valve can be placed in parallel and not in series as in the prior art.
- the object of the invention comprises "at least one" element having a given function
- the embodiment described may comprise several of these elements.
- the embodiment of the object according to the invention as illustrated has several elements of identical function and if, in the description, it is not specified that the object according to this invention must obligatorily comprise a number particular of these elements, the object of the invention may be defined as comprising "at least one" of these elements.
- the present invention relates to a sliding-type closure frame or the like, comprising a profile Pro having a base 10 which comprises an upper face 11.
- a base 10 which comprises an upper face 11.
- An industrial embodiment of such a base is illustrated on the Figures 2 and 4 .
- the profile Pro also comprises at least one rail 12 integral with the face 11 of the base 10, this rail consisting of two first and second walls 14, 16 substantially parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to the upper face 11 of the base 10 at a non-zero distance from each other to delimit a total inter-wall space 18, and fluid discharge means 19 in one direction.
- the profile Pro is a so-called thermal break profile, and comprises in known manner two so-called inner and outer sections, respectively one-piece and each comprising in the example a rail 12 defining a total inter-wall space 18, longitudinal, fixed , of reduced cross section and constant, and accessible only by the upper longitudinal opening defined between the upper free ends of the constituent walls of the rail.
- the inner and outer profiles are respectively monobloc, in the example of the metal profiles interconnected by insulating bars in a known manner as shown in FIGS. Figures 2 and 4 .
- the frame comprises two sliding openings Cou1 and Cou2, guided on the two rails 12 of the inner profile and the outer profile, respectively, each sliding leaflet Cou1 and Cou2 comprising a frame of which at least a bottom part covers in known manner the outer surfaces of the two first and second walls 14, 16 of its respective rail, as shown in Figures 2 and 4 .
- This covering is intended to form in a known way, for a rail and an associated sliding, for example a low type of sealing by means of two brush profiles (not shown) fixed in the example on the frame opening in two grooves in part frame, respectively disposed opposite the two outer surfaces of the walls 14, 16 constituting the rail, as shown in FIG. figure 4 , and intended to come into contact with this outer surface of the walls 14, 16 of the rail 12.
- These fluid evacuation means 19 comprise at least one first orifice 21 made in the first wall 14 and at least one second orifice 22 made in the second wall 16, these first and second orifices 21, 22 being made to be bordered substantially by the upper face 11 of the base 10 or at the smallest possible distance to avoid flange and prevent flow of fluid as will be explained below.
- These fluid evacuation means 19 further comprise valve means 30 mounted in the total inter-wall space 18.
- valve means 30 are arranged to make a fluid communication in a first direction Ps1 from the first orifice 21 to the second 22 and to prevent this fluid communication in the second direction Ps2 opposite to the first, figure 1 .
- these valve means 30 comprise at least one strip 40, means 41 for mounting the strip in rotation in the total inter-wall space 18 and with respect to the first wall 14 so that the strip is suitable taking at least two first and second positions in the total inter-wall space 18, a first position, shown in solid lines on the figure 1 in which it closes the first orifice 21 so as not to allow a flow Ps2 through this first orifice 21, and a second position, illustrated in broken lines on this same figure 1 , in which it releases the passage through the first orifice 21 so as to allow a fluid flow Ps1 through this first orifice 21, and means to tend to maintain the blade 40 in its first position, that is to say to automatically return it to this first position if, after being moved under the effect of an external force, this external force is canceled.
- the means 41 for mounting the slat 40 in rotation in the total inter-wall space 18 and with respect to the first wall 14 comprise at least one partition 43 in which is made less a breakthrough 44 ( two breakthroughs are represented on the Figures 2 and 3 ), means for mounting the partition 43 in cooperation with the rail 12 in the total inter-wall space 18 and substantially in relatively tight contact with the inner face of the first wall 14 so that the (or) breakthrough 44 is substantially facing the (or) first orifice 21 and has a side substantially located on the face 11 of the base 10, and means 41 for mounting the blade 40 in rotation relative to the partition 43 of way that the partition 43 is constantly located between the first wall 14 and the lamella 40 and that, in its first position, the lamella 40 closes the breakthrough 44 and consequently the first orifice 21.
- the breakthrough 44 and the orifice 21 are substantially opposite one another, if the blade closes the breakthrough 44 , it thus closes the orifice 21, which has the effect of preventing a flow Ps2 of fluid in the direction from the side 32 of the rail 12 to the side 31 of the same rail 12. It will be explained below that a flow of fluid in the opposite direction Ps1 will be possible, because the slat is pivotally mounted on the partition 43.
- the means for tending to maintain the blade 40 in its first position are constituted by elastic return means.
- these elastic return means are constituted, as more particularly visible on the figure 3 in combination with figures 1 and 2 in that the blade 40 is obtained by a partial cutting of a sheet 45 of material having a certain elasticity, such as for example a plastic sheet having elastic characteristics, or any other thin elastic sheet that is watertight. water and air, the portions 48 connecting the blade 40 with the remaining portions 46 of the partially cut sheet 45 constituting rotation hinges 47 by elastic deformation of the material of these connecting portions 48 between the remaining leaf portions 46 and the lamella 40.
- the means 41 for mounting the strip in rotation relative to the wall 43 are constituted by fixing means 49 of the remaining portions 46 of the sheet 45 on the face of the partition 43 which is opposite to that which is in contact with the inner face of the first wall 14, for example by means of fixing studs adapted to cooperate with holes made in the remaining parts 46 of the sheet 45, these pads being then matted to prevent the sheet from being detached from the partition 43.
- the means for mounting the partition 43 in cooperation with the rail 12 comprise, in an advantageous embodiment such as that illustrated in the figures, at least one foot 50 integral with the partition 43 for forming with it a substantially "L" -shaped piece and means for binding integrally, in the total inter-wall space 18, the whole of the foot 50 and the partition 43, hereinafter referred to as "foot-wall assembly", with the rail 12.
- the foot-wall assembly with the rail 12 comprise at least two first and second ribs 51, 52 secured respectively to the first and second walls 14, 16, these two ribs being respectively projecting on the internal faces of these first and second walls 14, 16 in the total inter-wall space 18 delimiting, between their free ends, an inter-rib space 53, and means for fixing preferably by clipping the foot-partition assembly into the first partial inter-wall space 55 delimited by the first and second walls 14, 16, the first and second ribs 51, 52 and the base 10.
- the two ribs 51, 52 are advantageously located substantially in the same plane at a distance from the base 10 at least equal to the height of the partition 43 taken in a direction perpendicular to the face 11 of the base 10, so that the foot 50 is adapted to be housed in contact with at least the face of the first rib 51 facing the face 11 of the base 10.
- the width of the foot 50 taken in a direction perpendicular to the first and second walls 14, 16, is at most equal to the width of the inter-rib space 53, so that the foot-wall assembly can be introduced into the first partial inter-wall space 55 by passing between the two free ends of the two ribs 51, 52, in the position as that illustrated in FIGS. figures 1 and 4 .
- the means for fastening the foot-wall assembly in the first partial inter-wall space 55 comprise at least a first resilient clip lug 60, means for securing a first end of this first clip lug 60 at least one of the two elements of the foot-wall assembly, the first clip lug 60 being further arranged so that when the foot-wall assembly is positioned in the first inter-wall space 55, the partition 43 being in contact with the inner face of the first wall 14, the other second end of this first clip lug 60 abuts against the face of the second rib 52 facing the upper face 11 of the base 10, figures 1 and 4 .
- These means for securing the foot-wall assembly in the first partial inter-wall space 55 furthermore comprise at least one second clip lug 61, means for securing a first end of this second clip lug 61 to at least one one of the elements of the foot-partition assembly, the second clip lug 61 being furthermore arranged so that, when the foot-partition assembly is positioned in the first partial inter-wall space 55, the partition 43 being in contact with the inner face of the first wall 14, the other second end of the second clip lug 61 comes into contact with the free edge of the first rib 51 and opens, through the inter-ribbed space 53, in the second interspace.
- partial wall 56 which is complementary to the first partial inter-wall space 55 in the first total inter-wall space 18.
- the means for securing the first ends respectively of the first and second clip lugs 60, 61 to at least one of the elements of the foot-wall assembly are constituted by a membrane 64 substantially defined in a plane perpendicular to the partition 43 and the foot 50 and secured integrally to two edges respectively of the foot 50 and the partition 43, and means for securing the first ends respectively of the first and second clip tabs 60, 61 with the membrane 64.
- the two clips 60, 61 being integral with the membrane 64, which is itself integral with the partition 43 and the foot 50, they are integral with at least one of the two elements of the whole foot-partition.
- the profile with fluid discharge means advantageously further comprises a positioning clip tab 70 and means for securing the positioning clip lug on the foot 50, this positioning clip lug 70 being furthermore arranged so that it is able to pass through the inter-ribbed space 53 and to bear on the free end of the second rib 52 by generating an elastic force to press the partition 43 against the inner face of the first wall 14 and thus maintain the breakthrough 44 substantially facing the first orifice 21.
- the profile fluid discharge comprises two pairs of two first and second clip tabs 60, 61 in association with a membrane 64, that is to say a torque at each end of the foot-wall assembly as more particularly visible on the Figures 2 and 3 .
- the (or) first clip lug 60 makes it possible to maintain the foot-partition assembly in the partial inter-wall space 55, and the (or the) second clip lug 61 prevents it from tilting.
- the positioning clip tab 70 it allows a perfect plating of the partition 43 against the inner face of the first wall 14, with the breakthrough 44 facing the first orifice 21.
- the structure as described above of the profile with fluid evacuation means of the closure frame according to the invention as described allows to achieve all the elements: the partition 43, the foot 50, the (or) membrane 64, the two (or four) first and second clips 60, 61 and the positioning clip 70, in one piece for example by molding in a plastic material.
- the rail 12 comprises, at its top 80 defined between the free ends of the first and second walls 14, 16 opposite to those which are integral with the base 10, and with or without reentrant parts (as illustrated), a race 81 clipped on these two free ends of the first and second walls 14, 16 and between them so that a portion 82 of the raceway 81 plunges into the inter-wall space total 18 to come advantageously snap respectively on the two free edges of the two ribs 51, 52, figure 1 , passing through the inter-rib space 53, this portion 82 of the raceway further comprising a cutout 84 allowing it to be positioned at least around the foot 50.
- the width of the foot 50, taken in a direction perpendicular to the first and second walls 14, 16 is at most equal to the smallest of the following distances: the width, taken according to the same direction, the inter-rib space 53 and the distance separating the free ends of the two walls 14, 16 between which the portion 82 of the raceway 81 plunges.
- the profile Pro further comprises a ramp 90 and means 92 for associating the ramp 90 to the base 10, for example hooks or the like as shown in FIG. figure 4 , the ramp further comprising discharge holes 91 made in correspondence with at least one of the first and second orifices 21, 22, to allow the evacuation of water.
- the ramp 90 may have a low slope and length, thus limiting the overall width of the profile Pro, while allowing, for example to a wheelchair evoked schematically with a large wheel referenced Fau ( figure 4 ), very easily cross such a profile when it is the lower part of a closing frame for example sliding.
- This fluid will pass through the first orifice 21 and the breakthrough 44, and, under the action of its weight, it will pass the strip 40 from its first position (in continuous lines, figure 1 ) at its second position (in broken lines, figure 1 ), then it will flow Ps1 by the second orifice 22 and, possibly as in the case of the embodiment according to the figure 4 , through the orifices 91, to finally evacuate the side 32 of the rail 12.
- the flow Ps1 of the fluid will be facilitated if the base 10 is provided with a very slight slope, a high point on the side 31 of the rail 12 and a low point on the other side 32.
- the lamella 40 When all the fluid, or at least most of it, is evacuated, the lamella 40 will automatically return to its first position to close the breakthrough 44 and consequently the first orifice 21.
- Figures 2 and 4 also show the presence of a section 83 double insulating U, which is clipped between the two rails that includes the Pro profile.
- One of the outer branches of the double U extends against the outer face of the wall 14 of the rail 12 and has an orifice for the passage of fluids, in correspondence with the orifice 21 of the wall 14. It is the same case on the other outer branch of the double U which extends against the outer face of one of the walls of the rail for the sliding Cou1.
- Figures 2 and 4 evoke a closure embodiment with two sliding Cou1 and Cou2 parallel, sliding Cou1 and Cou2 not being represented on the figure 2 .
- the reference 31 represents the inner side and the reference 32 the outer side of the closure.
- the sliding Cou1 which is on the right side of the drawing, cooperates with a rail similar to the rail 12 described above, wherein the fluid discharge means have not been shown; however, the rail for the sliding Cou1 may also include means for discharging fluid according to the characteristics described above, in the longitudinal portion of the rail separating the sliding Cou1 from the outside when the latter is closed.
- the valve means 30 will be arranged inside the rail for the sliding Cou1, on the inner wall so that the movement of the slat is possible for the evacuation of water.
- the other sliding Cou2 which is on the left of the drawing, cooperates with the rail 12 of the Pro profile, which comprises fluid discharge means according to the characteristics described above, as shown.

- a base,
- at least one guide rail of a sliding leaf, integral with one face of said base, said rail consisting of two first and second walls substantially parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to said face of the base at a non-zero distance; one of the other to delimit a total inter-wall space, the rail comprising, at its apex defined between the free ends of the first and second walls opposite to those which are integral with the base, a raceway clipped on said two free ends of the first and second walls and between them.
Such frames find a particularly advantageous application in the construction of closure frames used in the construction of buildings or the like.
It is known that building closures, such as doors and windows, generally consist of recessed frames in the masonry and closing elements that can be movable or fixed.
Such frames are well known and consist of profiles, preferably of the type "thermal break" to avoid heat exchange between the interior and exterior of buildings. In addition, for the sliders to move, it is necessary that the chassis comprise, at least in the lower part, rails or the like on which rolls integral with the sliding sliders.
It is also well known that, whatever the solution adopted, there is always the possibility that fluid, generally water, passes through the closure, at least at the sliding, or that water condenses and flows at the foot of the chassis.
For various reasons, it is therefore imperative that water accumulated at the foot of the frame on the inside side of the closure is evacuated by any means whatsoever.
The easiest way is to allow it to flow outwards, for example by recovering it at the bottom of the closure and leading it to a determined fluid communication path, which essentially consists of evacuation ports. made in the profiles constituting the frame of the closure.
Then there is the problem of the reverse fluid communication, that is to say the passage, inwardly, of a fluid coming from the outside through these orifices, for example rainwater when high wind. Also, have been designed valve systems associated with the profiles that pass the fluid in one direction, but prevents its passage in the other direction, whatever the nature of this fluid, whether liquid or gaseous.
These valve systems made to date are satisfactory, but all have a relatively large footprint, resulting in an elevation of the rail height due to the fact that the height of the valve or valves is mounted in series on the bases of thresholds or on the outer surfaces of the constituent walls of the rails, in the vertical direction. This configuration represents, for these valve systems, a major disadvantage constituted by the fact that the closures then comprise, in the lower part, relatively high profiles that constitute obstacles for people who have to go through these closures when they are open, and even more particularly for people with reduced mobility, for example in a wheelchair or with any other mobility assistance system.

Also, is the present invention intended to provide, in the application context defined at the head of the present invention, a sliding-type closure frame or the like with fluid-only discharge means in a sense, which is a relatively simple structure, with elements easy to achieve and assemble, and therefore a low cost compared to other profiles of the same type, and which also has a footprint very low height to avoid the major drawback mentioned above profiles of the same type of the prior art.
- a base,
- at least one guide rail of a sliding leaf, integral with one face of said base, said rail consisting of two first and second walls substantially parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to said face of the base at a non-zero distance; one of the other to delimit a total inter-wall space, the rail comprising, at its apex defined between the free ends of the first and second walls opposite to those which are integral with the base, a rolling track of the sliding clipped onto said two free ends of the first and second walls and between them and means for discharging fluid in one direction, said means for discharging fluid in a direction comprising at least a first orifice made in the first wall; and at least one second orifice formed in the second wall, the at least two first and second orifices being made to be substantially bordered by said face of the base, the frame being characterized in that said means for discharging fluid in one direction comprises valve means mounted in said total inter-wall space, said valve means being furthermore arranged to carry out fluid communication in a first direction from the first port to the second and to prevent this fluid communication in the second direction opposite to the first.
The arrangement of the valve means within the inter-wall space makes it possible to use this space, previously unused for this purpose, and to very significantly reduce the height of the rail and thus of the profile, in that the height of the valve means can be placed in parallel and no longer in series as in the prior art with the height of other elements constituting the threshold, as the height of the constituent walls of the rail or the height of the frame of the opening guided on the rail. By sliding or the like is meant a closure including if necessary several leaves, at least one of which is sliding.
- at least one coverslip
- means for mounting said slat in rotation in said total inter-wall space and with respect to the first wall so that said slat is adapted to take at least two first and second positions in the total inter-wall space, a first position in which it closes said first orifice and a second position in which it releases the passage through said first orifice so as to allow a flow of fluid therethrough first orifice, and
- means for tending to maintain said slat in its first position.
According to this characteristic, the inter-wall space is used for the movement of the strip, despite its limited accessibility and the narrowness of this space due for example because it is generally significantly smaller than the thickness of the frame. opening.
- at least one partition,
- at least one breakthrough made in said partition,
- means for mounting said partition in cooperation with said rail in said total inter-wall space and substantially in relatively tight contact with the inner face of the first wall so that said piercing is substantially opposite the first orifice and has a side substantially located on said face of said base,
- means for mounting said sipe in rotation with respect to said partition so that said partition is constantly located between said first wall and said sipe and that, in its first position, said sipe closes said breakthrough and consequently the first orifice.
This feature allows easy mounting and operation in one direction of the valve means in the inter-wall space.
According to an advantageous characteristic, the means for mounting said partition in cooperation with said rail comprise at least one foot integral with said partition to form with it a substantially L-shaped piece and means for binding integrally, in said total inter-wall space, together said foot and said partition with said rail.
- at least two first and second ribs secured respectively to the first and second walls, these two ribs respectively being projecting on the inner faces of the first and second walls towards said total inter-wall space delimiting, between their free ends, an inter-rib space, these two ribs being located substantially in the same plane at a distance from said base at less than the height of said partition taken in a direction perpendicular to said base, so that said foot is adapted to be housed in contact with at least the face of the first rib facing said face of said base, and
- means for fastening the foot-wall assembly by clipping into said first partial inter-wall space delimited by the first and second walls, the first and second ribs and the base.
This feature provides an advantageous solution for positioning and maintaining the valve means in the inter-wall space accessible only by a longitudinal slot in the top of the rail.
According to an advantageous characteristic, said sliding leaf comprises a frame, part of which covers the outer surfaces of said first and second walls.
The arrangement of the valve means inside the inter-wall space makes it possible to very significantly reduce the height of the rail and thus of the profile, in that the height of the frame covering opening on the outer surfaces of the rail and the height of the valve can be placed in parallel and not in series as in the prior art.

The profile Pro also comprises at least one
In this embodiment of the
As for the means for mounting the
These means for binding integrally, in the total
These means for securing the foot-wall assembly in the first partial
According to a preferred embodiment, the means for securing the first ends respectively of the first and second clip lugs 60, 61 to at least one of the elements of the foot-wall assembly are constituted by a
Still in order to obtain a perfect positioning of the
The structure as described above of the profile with fluid evacuation means of the closure frame according to the invention as described allows to achieve all the elements: the
- It is assumed that, for whatever reason, a fluid, such as water, has accumulated on the
face 11 of thebase 10 of theside 31 of therail 12.
