Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sewing machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a sewing machine is known from the DE 10 2004 019 001 A1 , There, the two upper feed dog are independently driven at different speeds to specify a radius of curvature of a feed sheet for the fabric. Such a drive is expensive and also brings a high control, in particular synchronization effort with it.
  • the US 4,290,376 describes a fabric transport device with a lower feed dog and two upper feeders in the form of rollers 1 and 20, 27.
  • the roller 1 is pivotally mounted with respect to a bearing frame for the rollers 20, 27.
  • the US 2,907,291 describes a feed dog with two in the sewing direction successively arranged roles.
  • the radius of curvature of a feed sheet can also be set by specifying a slip difference between the two upper feeders.
  • an upper feed dog which is subject to slip, achieves the same effect in its feed effect as a slip-free upper feed dog with a lower transport speed.
  • the slip difference between the two upper feeders and thus the radius of curvature of the feed sheet can be varied. This way is through a mechanically adjustable with reasonable effort adjustable at least one of the two upper feed dog especially a stepless radius specification of the feed sheet possible.
  • a Raff feed can be realized with a predetermined Köselwert.
  • a stepper motor according to claim 2 allows a very accurate relative positioning of the two upper feed dog to each other, in particular a precise adjustment of one of the two upper feed dog.
  • a transmission according to claim 3 allows a very fine relative adjustment of the two upper feed dog to each other, so that the arc radius of a feed sheet can be specified exactly.
  • a toothed belt for transmission according to claim 4 is robust and low maintenance.
  • Two toothed belts as transmission elements according to claim 5 allow a good separation between the realizable by the transmission in practice functions "translation” and "path bridging".
  • a conveyor belt according to claim 6 allows an efficient and continuous mass transfer.
  • a spring preload according to claim 7 makes it possible for the displaceable upper feed dog to be able to move upwards even in a lowered feed slide position with a larger material thickness.
  • An adjustable stop according to claim 8 allows an adaptation of the sewing machine to different Nähgutdicken.
  • a sewing machine 1 has an upper arm 2, a vertical stand 3 and a lower housing, which is commonly referred to as a base plate 4.
  • the base plate 4 has an upwardly projecting column 5, for which reason the sewing machine 1 is also referred to as a column sewing machine.
  • a not shown arm shaft is rotatably mounted in the arm 2.
  • the drive of the arm shaft and thus the essential sewing components of the sewing machine 1 via a mounted in the base plate 4 drive motor 6 and a belt drive not shown in the drawing.
  • About the arm shaft and a crank mechanism is mounted vertically in the arm 2, not shown in the drawing needle bar vertically up and down driven, which carries a needle at its lower end. An approximate position of the needle bar is in the Fig. 1 indicated by dashed lines at 7.
  • a gripper is rotatably mounted in the column 5. Sewing parts to be sewn (compare the fabric part 8 in Fig. 6 ) are guided over a the needle column plate 9 forming the top of the column 5 and projecting laterally along the sewing direction over the column 5, through which the needle passes into the region of the gripper.
  • a lower feed dog assembly 10 and an upper feed dog assembly 11 are used.
  • the lower feed dog assembly 10 has two adjacent lower conveyor belts 12, 13, which are designed as polyurethane-coated timing belt.
  • the conveyor belts 12, 13 are driven by means of toothed pulleys 14 mounted in the column 5 by a common drive so that they move at the same speed relative to the throat plate 9 in the sewing direction.
  • the upper conveyor belts 15, 16 are stirred as a closed endless conveyor belts and also as a polyurethane-coated timing belt.
  • the upper conveyor belt 15 is arranged above the lower conveyor belt 12 and cooperates with this.
  • the upper conveyor belt 16 is disposed above the lower conveyor belt 13 and cooperates with this.
  • the upper conveyor belt 15 cooperates with the lower conveyor belt 12
  • the upper conveyor belt 15 is deflected by a guide roller 17.
  • the guiding and deflecting elements are supported by a support rod 18 fixed to the arm 2.
  • the upper conveyor belt 15 is driven via a toothed disk 19.
  • the latter is driven via a deflection gear 20 by a belt drive stepping motor 21.
  • the second upper conveyor belt 16 is where it interacts with the lower conveyor belt 13, deflected by a guide roller 22.
  • the latter is supported by an adjusting or pivot lever 23, which has substantially the shape of a toggle lever.
  • the adjusting lever 23 is driven to pivot about a in the Fig. 4 dashed lines indicated pivot axis 24th
  • Fig. 4 shows the adjusting lever 23 in a position in which the deflection roller 22 and thus the upper conveyor belt sixteenth is lowered at most relative to the lower conveyor belt 13. This position is also referred to below as the minimum slip position.
  • Fig. 5 shows the position at which the adjusting lever 23 and thus the guide roller 22 is driven about the pivot axis 24 driven in a maximum relative to the lower conveyor belt 13 raised position. This position is also referred to below as the maximum slip position.
  • the toothed belt 28 In the power transmission from the adjusting stepper motor 29 to the toothed wheel 25, the toothed belt 28 essentially provides for the reduction of the rotational movement of the drive shaft of the stepping motor 29 in the rotational movement of the toothed disk 25.
  • the timing belt 26 ensures the spatial bridging of the transmission path of the toothed disc 27th adjacent pulley towards the toothed disc 25th
  • the toothed wheel 31 has a larger number of teeth than the toothed disk 19, which is why, since both toothed disks 19, 31 are driven by the same belt drive stepping motor 21, the adjustable upper conveyor belt 16 rotates at a greater transport speed than the upper transport belt 15 which is not adjustable in height.
  • One of the guide roller 22 opposite lever leg 32 of the adjusting lever 23 has a stop carrier 33 which carries an adjustable stop 34 in the form of a set screw.
  • the lever arm 32 is supported on a non-rotatably connected to the toothed pulley 25 transmission lever 35 from.
  • the Verstellverschwenkung of the adjusting lever 23 from the minimum to the maximum slip position by means of driven rotation of the toothed wheel 25 is effected by transmission by means of the transmission lever 35th
  • the adjusting lever 23 is pivotable relative to the transmission lever 35 about a further pivot axis 36 which in the Fig. 4 also indicated by dashed lines. If the transmission lever 35 is moved from the minimum slip position about the pivot axis 24 into the maximum slip position, the relative pivoting of the adjustment lever 23 to the adjustment lever 35 about the pivot axis 36 due to the stop 34 is blocked. However, a free pivoting of the adjusting lever 23 about the pivot axis 36 for deflecting the guide roller 22 upwards is possible, with the stop 34 lifts off from the transmission lever 35 during this pivoting. This situation is in the Fig. 6 shown. This adjustment movement of the adjusting lever 23 relative to the transmission lever 35 with lifting of the stop 34 takes place against the bias of a tension spring 37 which is fixed at one end to the transmission lever 35 and at the other end on the lever arm 32 of the adjusting lever 23.
  • the radius of an arcuate feed for a workpiece for example, the workpiece 8 in the Fig. 6
  • the radius of an arcuate feed for a workpiece for example, the workpiece 8 in the Fig. 6
  • the in the Fig. 4 shown minimum slip position are both upper conveyor belts 15, 16 substantially slip-free on the upper fabric part. Since that is adjustable upper conveyor belt 16 moves faster than the other upper conveyor belt 15, which extends from the upper feed dog assembly 11 sewing material in an arc, the guide roller 22 is arranged inside the bow. This feed sheet has a minimum radius.
  • Fig. 5 In the maximum slip position after Fig. 5 is the adjustable upper conveyor belt 16 under slip into engagement with the transported from the upper feed dog assembly 11 sewing material.
  • the other upper conveyor belt 15 is slip-free with the work piece in engagement.
  • the slip of the adjustable upper conveyor belt 16 may, depending on the setting of the maximum slip position in particular cause the slip effect the arc effect of the upper feed dog assembly 11 due to the different transport speeds of the upper conveyor belts 15, 16 compensated exactly, so in the maximum slip position the Sewing material along the sewing direction exactly straight, so not in the bow, is transported.
  • the radius of the feed arc starting from the minimum radius at the minimum slip position, becomes larger and larger. In this way, can be on the adjustment of the adjustable upper conveyor belt 16, the radius of the feed sheet for the transported with the upper feed dog assembly 11 material pretend. In this way, for example, sleeves of different sizes can be sewn.
  • the dependence of the radius of curvature of the feed sheet of the adjustment of the guide roller 22 and thus the conveyor belt 16 can for each material position to be sewn in advance by means of a teach-in algorithm be determined.
  • a control panel then allows an operator to enter which sleeve size should be sewn.
  • a control of the sewing machine determines a radius of curvature for the feed sheet.
  • the adjustment lever 23 is pivoted about the pivot axis 24 with the aid of the adjusting stepping motor 29, so that the deflection roller 22 comes with the adjustable upper conveyor belt 16 in the position associated with this radius of curvature above the lower conveyor belt 13. Now the sleeve can be sewn in the specified size.
  • the tension spring 37 is used to bias the Vertellhebels 23 and thus the upper conveyor belt 16 in a lower feed dog position.
  • the upper feed dog 16 is pivotally mounted about the pivot axis 36 so that it can be displaced upwards against the bias of the compression spring 37, depending on the thickness of the workpiece 8.
