Definitions

  • the invention relates to a security container for receiving security cassettes according to claim 1 and a security system with a plurality of security containers and a plurality of security cassettes according to claim 11.
  • Security cassettes are used to hold valuables, in particular paper money, on the one hand during storage, for example after filling in cash centers and during their use, for example in ATM stations, and on the other hand during transport.
  • the security cassettes usually have a trough-like container an access opening which can be closed by a cover element or a flap. To close and in particular to open the access opening special tools and / or measures must be used, which have only authorized persons.
  • Security cassettes that are used in ATM stations moreover, usually also have a discharge opening, which can be covered by a flap element (called a shutter).
  • the security cassettes have a protective device.
  • the protective device serves to make the theft of the security cassettes and the valuables therein unattractive to a potential thief. This is done by devaluing the valuables as soon as the situation of the security cassette deviates from the intended situation in any way, the protection device also being able to emit alarm signals.
  • 'situation' and 'deviation from the intended situation' are to be understood in a broad sense.
  • 'situation' may refer not just to the location but also to the time and threat situation.
  • a "deviation" may, in particular, mean that the location, time and threat situation are different than intended.
  • a 'deviation' may arise, for example, from an attempt by unauthorized persons to open the safety cassettes, in particular improperly, or remove them from a receptor or expose them to certain mechanical stresses or transport them over a longer distance or for a longer duration than intended ,
  • the devaluation is usually done by the protective device a suitable liquid, for example, ink, is applied to the valuables through which the valuables are colored.
  • a suitable liquid for example, ink
  • the protective device of the safety cassette can be brought from a resting state to an armed state. At rest, no triggering of the protective device can take place. In the armed state, an automatic release takes place whenever the current situation of the safety cassette, which can also be regarded as an actual situation, deviates from the predicted situation or desired situation. In order to avoid unwanted devaluation of the valuables, a reinforced protective device must be put back into hibernation when, for example, the security cassette is to be opened by authorized persons.
  • the reinforcement of the protection device takes place in coordination with the respective intended situation of the safety cassette.
  • the protection device of the security cassette can be brought into different Arm istsmodi, depending on the nature of the current or upcoming, that is planned, situation of the safety cassette.
  • the goal here is to prevent unnecessary triggering of the protection device and at the same time not to block a required release of the protection device.
  • the guard of a security cassette must be more sensitive to mechanical influences such as shock or movement.
  • the intended situation or parameters which define the corresponding arming mode of the protective device of the safety cassette are programmed into the protective device or are predefined.
  • Secured containers are used to contain the security cassettes during their storage and filling, their use in ATM stations and their transport.
  • the security containers generally have a plurality of identically or differently configured receptors, each of which can receive a security cassette.
  • the receptors, on the one hand, and the security cassettes, on the other hand, have cooperative locking means with which the security cassettes in the receptors can be locked.
  • the security cassettes are not necessarily completely surrounded by the receptors or securing containers, but can only be docked there so that they are at least partially visible or can be actuated directly from outside the securing containers, for example to remove them from the receptors.
  • a typical procedure for using the security cassettes is as follows:
  • the security cassettes are filled in a cash center. Then they are brought by means of a transport vehicle to their place of use, for example, a bank or an ATM station. Before and after the transport in the transport vehicle short locally limited transports can be carried out by means of a trolley.
  • the security cassettes are located in respective security containers.
  • the security containers of the different sites may be different, but of course must be designed so that even different receptors can record and lock the same type of security cassettes.
  • the backup containers or receptors may have monitoring means that respond to unforeseen situations.
  • a security system consists of several security cassettes, several stationary and mobile security containers and a monitoring system to permanently monitor the valuables or security cassettes as far as possible.
  • WO 00/08287 discloses a security system that seeks the most cost-effective solution and thus presents a security cassette with holes.
  • This safety cassette can thus be introduced into a "mother box” during individual transport or into a safety container during transport in a vehicle.
  • a validator either in the "mother box” or in the fuse box is sensor-controlled capable of getting the liquid to validate or tag the valuables through the holes in the security cassette to the valuables to let.
  • the security cassette is not secured by a devaluation device during the transfer from the mother box to the security container or vice versa.
  • EP 1 069 540 discloses the integration of a security cassette in a radio system with a central office. In this case, a previously entered in the security cassette distance is passed on when exceeded as a trigger for a theft alarm to the control panel.
  • EP 0 235 103 discloses a system for transporting high quality documents comprising a security cassette.
  • the safety cassette is provided with a kind of protective device which can be activated / deactivated by means of magnet-operated switches.
  • the protection device is provided with a timer, which triggers an alarm or a devaluation of the documents after a certain time interval.
  • WO01 / 29786 discloses a security cassette having a protection device for devaluing valuables comprising a plurality of sensors, wherein the activation of the sensors is in accordance with the number of operations of a handle or the reading of a card for unlocking the cassette.
  • such security cassettes are known, for example, from Swiss Patent Application CH-01 532/04 of 17 September 2004.
  • the new security cassette differs from the conventional security cassettes especially in that for their monitoring and reinforcement, that is, for programming the respective desired Arm michsmodus, no additional PDA device and virtually no manually performed inspection activities, especially no such activities in unprotected environments, are necessary.
  • the signal transmission takes place directly, namely optically and independently, between the security cassettes and the security containers or receptors and, for example, without wires (over the airways) between a central office of Security system and the security containers.
  • a wire-bound signal transfer is preferably provided within the backup containers.
  • the entire transport and monitoring process is substantially simplified and security increased, the monitoring can be carried out without gaps, preferably the situation of each security cassette is known at any time in a center of the security system. Sources of error and extortion risks are eliminated or largely reduced.
  • the new security cassettes have receiver devices formed by optical receiver units or having optical receiver units. Optical signal transmission is potential-free and can hardly be disturbed by external means. Each optical receiver unit is designed to receive signals which are emitted by the respective receptor loaded with the security cassette by means of an optical transmitter. If it is intended to accommodate security cassettes in differently configured receptors whose transmitters are designed and / or arranged differently, the security cassettes also have corresponding different or differently operable optical receiver units.
  • the protective devices of the safety cassettes have a sensor which is designed to detect parameters of the respective situation of the safety cassettes and to cause the triggering of the protective device in coordination with the arming mode, if the actual situation of the safety cassette deviates from its desired situation.
  • This sensor usually has several sensors for sensing different conditions. Depending on the task that the Sensors have to be met, they are deactivated in accordance with the Arm istsmodi.
  • the security cassettes preferably also have a transmitter device for emitting signals containing information about the security cassette or its situation.
  • the transmitter device preferably comprises an optical transmitter unit for emitting signals to the receptor in which the security cassette is received.
  • the transmitter device may also comprise further transmitter units, in particular for emitting signals directly to a communication system of a security system, wherein the security cassettes form part of the security system, or to emit signals to a system-external location.
  • the security cassette is usually formed by a trough-like container, with an access opening or filling opening, which can be closed by a cover element.
  • Security cassettes which are used for use in security containers such as ATM devices in an ATM station, also have a dispensing opening which can be covered by a shutter element or a slider element. The dispensing opening is preferably arranged apart from means for devaluing the valuables.
  • the new safety container has at least one but usually several receptors in which one of the safety cassettes, usually lockable, can be accommodated.
  • the backup container has a communication device with a transmitter device and a receiver device.
  • the transmitter device comprises one transmitter part per receptor, for emitting optical signals to the safety cassette located in the receptor.
  • the receiver device comprises a central receiver for receiving signals of a communication system of a security system, of which the backup container forms an element. There are also internal Connections between the central receiver and the transmitter parts provided to transmit intra-ratio signals.
  • the receiver device of the communication device of the backup container preferably also has a, usually optical, receiver part per receptor for receiving signals from the safety cassette located in the receptor.
  • the transmitter device of the communication device of the backup container preferably also has a central transmitter for emitting signals, in particular to the communication system of the security system, wherein connections between the central transmitter and the receiver parts are provided to intra-ratio signals to transfer.
  • the security container may include an input device for influencing the arming modes of the security devices of the security cassettes received in the security container.
  • the security container can be designed, for example, as a container for stationary use and arranged, for example, in a cash center or an ATM station.
  • the safety container can also be designed as a container for transport and arranged, for example, in a trolley or motorized van.
  • the new security system includes multiple security boxes and a variety of security cassettes.
  • the security system has a communication system which has at least one transmitter system for emitting signals to the security containers and preferably a receiver system for receiving signals from the security containers.
  • the security system has a computer system, in particular for processing received signals and / or for providing signals to be emitted on the basis of Available data.
  • the computer system has an input unit for overall monitoring of the operations associated with the use of the security cassettes and the security containers, taking into account both the intended situations and the unintended situations of the security cassettes.
  • the communication system of the security system is preferably also designed to exchange signals with a system-external authority, in particular with a bank and / or police station.
  • the communication system of the security system can also be designed for the direct exchange of signals with security cassettes located in security containers.
  • the signals from the fuse holders or receptors to the individual safety cassettes can be used to determine the arming modes of the safety cassettes, since the optical transmitter parts of the receptors emit corresponding signals to the receiving units of the safety cassettes as soon as the safety cassettes in the receptors are docked or near them.
  • the appropriate Arm istsmodus is selected.
  • the security cassettes For bidirectional communication, in addition to the optical receiver units, the security cassettes must also contain transmitter units, for example optical transmitter units, in order to emit signals to the receptors or the security containers. Likewise, the receptors need not only contain transmitter parts for sending the signals to the security cassettes, but also receiver parts for receiving the signals of the security cassettes. In addition, the backup containers must have central transmitters for emitting signals to the communications system of the backup system. The receiver system of the communication system of the security system in turn must be designed to receive signals from the backup containers.
  • the security cassettes may also have a plurality of receiver units, in particular if they are alternately docked in different receptors with differently arranged transmitter parts.
  • Fig. 1 1 shows a security cassette 100.
  • the security cassette 100 has a type of tray part 102 for receiving valuables 1 and a cover element 104 for closing an access or filling opening of the tray part 102.
  • the cover part 104 is releasably locked on the tub part 102. Instead of a cover 104, a flap, a slide, a door or other means can be used.
  • a sensor 106 is provided which detects the lock. An unlocking of the cover part 104 can take place only with a specific tool and / or a specific code to be entered.
  • Security cassettes 100 which are intended for use in an ATM station, also have a, usually slot-like, discharge opening, which can usually be closed or covered by means of a pivotable or displaceable flap part 108 (shutter). Furthermore, the security cassette 100 has a protective device 110, which serves to protect the valuables 1.
  • the protection device 110 has a device for devaluing the valuables 1.
  • the protection device 110 includes, for example, an ink module whose structure and operation is known. The ink module of the protection device 110 and the discharge opening with the flap portion 108 are as far away as possible, for example, on opposite surfaces of the security cassette 100, attached.
  • the protective device 110 may be in an idle state in which it is not armored and thus can not be triggered automatically.
  • the valuables 1 in the security cassette 100 are then protected only insofar as the lid portion 104 of the security cassette 100 can not be opened without the code and / or the corresponding instrument and the flap portion 108 also closes the dispensing opening secured. Thus, no automatic devaluation of the valuables 1 takes place, regardless of what happens to the security cassette 100.
  • the protective device 110 can be reinforced, and when in the armed state, it is automatically triggered as soon as the effective situation of the safety cassette 100 deviates from their intended or predefined situation.
  • the security cartridge 100 may be placed in different armor modes depending on the intended threat condition by setting different parameters that define these arming modes differently. Triggering the protection device 110 causes the valuables 1 to be devalued by the ink of the ink module. The valuables 1 may then under no circumstances be dispensed through the dispensing opening 108 in order to prevent them and other elements (for example an ATM machine), which are directly or indirectly coming into contact with it, from being contaminated. In this way, among other things it should be prevented that other valuables from other security cassettes are involuntarily devalued by contact with several safety cassette touching components (for example, a dispenser in an ATM machine).
  • the security cartridge 100 includes a receiver device that includes an optical receiver unit 112.
  • the optical receiver unit 112 is adapted to receive optical signals received from an in Fig. 2 illustrated Japanese 210 are emitted. Essentially, the signals thus received have the effect that the protective device 110 is brought into the respectively required arming mode.
  • a transmitter device which preferably comprises an optical transmitter unit 114.
  • the safety cassette 100 has a diverse sensor technology in order to be able to determine unwanted effects or unforeseen changes in its situation independently at any time and to arm the protective device 110 accordingly.
  • the following sensors may be present: the above-mentioned sensor 106 for detecting whether the lid member closes the access opening, a shock sensor, a position sensor, a timer for determining a maximum transport time, an absolute or relative temperature sensor.
  • it can be determined with which tolerances or time delays the protective device 110 of the safety cassettes 100 are triggered after the sensors have delivered their signals.
  • the individual sensors can be activated or deactivated depending on the selected reinforcement mode.
