Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bottle carrier made of foldable flat material with a box-shaped or basket-like carrier with a bottom wall, longitudinal walls and end walls, a parallel to the two longitudinal walls center wall in the carrier, the top has a carrying handle and parallel to the end walls transverse webs between the middle wall and the longitudinal walls to form compartments in the carrier for receiving bottles.
  • Cup-like container carrier of the type mentioned above (so-called “Open Basket Carrier") are known. They can be made from one or more blanks of foldable flat material.
  • the flat material is mostly Carton. They serve in particular for the storage and transport of bottles, in particular of beverage bottles.
  • Such bottle carriers and their production from a single blank or from several blanks are particularly in the DE 298 10 833 U1 .
  • the EP 0 452 563 A1 discloses a cup-like bottle carrier made of a one-piece blank of foldable flat material.
  • the falling out or taking out individual bottles is hindered by the fact that the handle has on both sides hinged flaps with cutouts for receiving bottlenecks of bottles set in the compartments.
  • the bottles must be inserted through the open bottom into the compartments and with the necks into the flaps connected in one piece with the bottle carrier. Then the floor is closed.
  • the filling of the bottle carrier is complicated and only possible with specially designed machines.
  • the FR-A-2 825 074 which is considered to be the closest prior art, discloses a bottle carrier made of foldable flat material with a granule-shaped carrier, are placed in the cover walls with openings on the arranged in compartments bottles.
  • the cover walls have locking tongues which are anchored with transverse webs to form compartments in the carrier, so that the cover walls can not be easily removed.
  • the locking of the cover walls is relatively expensive, so that the cover walls difficult or can be applied by machine only with relatively low speed.
  • the present invention seeks to provide a cup-like bottle carrier or parts of such that can be filled easier and secured against the removal of bottles. Furthermore, the invention has for its object to provide a simpler method for providing a filled with bottles and secured against removal, cup-like bottle carrier available.
  • the cover walls are originally separated from the carrier. After inserting the bottles in the carrier, the cover walls are placed on the bottles and connected to the carrier.
  • the associated with the carrier cover walls prevent the bottles can be easily removed from the compartments. A removal of the bottles from the compartments is namely possible only by destroying the cover walls or their connection to the carrier or the carrier. This prevents individual buyers from removing individual bottles from the bottle carriers. Therefore, the buyers are fully stocked bottle carrier available. Billing errors are avoided.
  • the cover walls can be connected to any walls of the support container and / or be connectable, for example with the center wall or the end walls.
  • the cover walls are connected to the longitudinal walls and / or connectable.
  • the connection of the cover walls with the longitudinal walls enables movement or tilting of the bottles towards the longitudinal walls, which is advantageous when the carrying handle arranged between the parallel rows of bottles is gripped.
  • the cover walls are connected and / or connectable exclusively to the longitudinal walls with the carrier.
  • the cover walls are originally separated from the carrier and connected by connecting means with the carrier and / or connectable. This is particularly advantageous for the production and filling of the Bottle carrier.
  • the carrier can be completed and the bottles can be inserted from above into the bottle carrier.
  • the filling of the carrier with bottles is not hindered by the cover walls or their attachment to the bottles. Therefore, the bottles do not need to be inserted through the bottom of the carrier and a subsequent closure of the soil is not required.
  • the cover walls can be subsequently placed from above on the bottle necks and connected to the filled with bottles carrier.
  • An automatic packaging system can be designed and executed from the outset in the manner described. But it is also possible to provide bottle carrier without removal protection for bottles later with the cover walls. Existing packaging systems for bottle carriers without removal protection can be supplemented later by automatic devices for placing and connecting the cover walls.
  • the cover walls and the carrier have adhesive connections.
  • the adhesive bonds between the cover walls and the carrier can be easily made in production by applying a glue or adhesive and attaching the plugged onto the bottle necks cover walls at the joints.
  • the cover walls on the longitudinal sides connecting flaps, which are connected to the carrier.
  • the connection of the connecting flaps with the carrier takes place via adhesive connections.
  • the connecting flaps are hinged via fold lines to the cover walls.
  • the connecting flaps are arranged on the outer longitudinal sides of the cover walls and connected to the side walls and / or connectable. This favors a the carrying of the bottle carrier facilitating moving or tilting the bottles towards the side walls during gripping the carrying handle.
  • the release of the cover walls of the carrier can be done in the simplest case by separating the cover walls and / or the support container and / or connecting means between the cover walls and carrier.
  • a frangible or at least slit sheet can be used for the carrier and / or the cover walls.
  • adhesive joints or connectors can be designed so that they are separable.
  • the bottle carrier is e.g. provided with at least one line of weakness.
  • the splices are surrounded in the cover walls and / or in the carrier of lines of weakness, which allow separation of the cover walls of the carrier under tearing of the lines of weakness.
  • the adhesive bonds are not separated, but it is torn out a comprehensive range of the cover walls and / or the carrier, which can facilitate the separation.
  • the lines of weakness are scribe lines in at least one layer of the cover walls and / or of the carrier.
  • layers of the cover walls or the support container remain at the splices.
  • an uppermost layer of the cover walls or the support container is torn out.
  • no packaging waste accumulates in addition to the cover walls.
  • the cover walls bear against the middle wall with their inner longitudinal sides.
  • the cover walls preferably completely span the openings in the upper region of the support container, whereby In particular, the buyer the security of the container against removal of individual bottles is clarified and the bottles are partially protected against contamination.
  • the cover walls can be used for attaching an imprint, for which they are made as large as possible.
  • the cover walls then form a saddle roof-shaped cover of the support container, which in particular favors a slight movement or tilting of the bottles to the outside and avoids contamination of the cover walls. Furthermore, this allows particularly material-saving designs of the carrier with low longitudinal walls and sufficiently high grip for comfortable gripping.
  • the cover walls have oval-shaped through-openings. This configuration is particularly advantageous in saddle roof-like outwardly inclined cover walls, since it favors a close contact of the insertion openings on the bottle necks, so that the bottles are held firmly in the bottle carrier.
  • the push-through openings extend from the fold lines with which the connecting flaps are hinged to the cover walls.
  • the insertion openings are limited at the fold lines by a rectilinear edge. In this case, the straight edge extends on the fold lines.
  • the carrying handle on a handle opening, which facilitates the gripping of the carrying handle.
  • the handle opening on at least one longitudinal side on a handle flap.
  • the handle flap is folded out when grasping the handle opening from the grip area. It forms a cushion, which is a cutting of the edges of the handle opening in the hand prevents the wearer.
  • the punches are trough-shaped or have the shape of a U with a broad base.
  • an arcuate cover strip of the cover wall is present between at least one oval through opening and an adjacent punched out.
  • the arcuate cover strip is located between the middle through opening and the punched-out of the respective cover wall.
  • the arcuate cover strip closes the oval through opening, so that no bottle can be removed from it. If necessary, he attaches himself to the middle wall, whereby he can be bent upwards slightly.
  • the arcuate cover strip does not interfere with the passage of the handle opening when carrying the bottle carrier.
  • the cover walls are substantially rectangular, corresponding to the shape of the openings in the upper region of the support container, which they preferably cover as completely as possible.
  • the cover walls on rounded corners.
  • the longitudinal extent of the cover walls decreases in an edge portion adjacent to their outer longitudinal sides to their outer longitudinal sides down.
  • the longitudinal extent is the extent of the cover walls in the direction parallel to the longitudinal walls or to the middle wall. By decreasing towards the outer longitudinal sides longitudinal extent is avoided that the cover walls protrude beyond the end faces of the support container. Exact rectangular cover walls, however, may have a projection over the end walls due to deformation when carrying the bottle carrier.
  • the cup-like carrier may have various configurations. In particular, it may be made from a single blank or multiple blanks, e.g. as described in the aforementioned prior art.
  • the middle wall and the transverse webs can be produced from a blank and the remaining parts of the carrying container from a further blank.
  • the foldable flat material is selected from at least one of the following materials: cardboard, cardboard, plastic. Also, combinations of the aforementioned materials are possible. According to one embodiment, the carrier and the cover walls made of cardboard.
