Definitions

  • the invention relates to a blank for producing a bulk packaging for several containers such as bottles or vials, as e.g. is known from US-A-4,304,329.
  • the invention has for its object to show such a blank with which the production of the bulk packaging is easy to carry out.
  • Opening the bulk packaging is made considerably easier by the projections created with the punching lines.
  • a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is that the openings for pushing through the necks of the containers are surrounded by a plurality of tabs which engage elastically on protruding sections of the necks.
  • a very advantageous embodiment of the invention is that at least one tab is formed on the outer sections of the end wall parts, which in the folded state of these outer sections complements the tabs arranged at the openings.
  • the outer sections of the side wall parts are their extensions and are curved inwards.
  • projections are formed on the outer sections, which are provided with tabs, which change when the Cover the blank with rags formed on the middle part.
  • the blank is provided for two rows of two containers each.
  • An advantageous embodiment of the invention also lies in the fact that fold lines are provided between the outer regions and the central region of the side walls.
  • wing-like flaps are articulated laterally on the two end walls via a fold line, the flaps having tabs which come to rest on one of the holding tabs for the containers when the blank is unfolded.
  • extension sections are articulated on the middle region of the side wall parts via two fold lines in each case, the surface section lying between the two fold lines serving to reinforce the edges.
  • extension sections each have two tabs at their ends, which, when erected, supplement the holding tabs for the containers.
  • Figures 1, 3, 4 and 5 illustrate flat pack shapes according to the invention.
  • Solid lines denote punched lines
  • dashed lines denote fold lines which are produced, for example, by perforation of the sheet and / or by continuous notches in only part of the thickness of the sheet.
  • the shapes of the packing forms as shown in detail on the drawings are to be regarded as part of the present description.
  • a packing form for a collecting hood consists of a middle part 1, which forms an upper surface, mostly horizontally after the collecting hood has been folded and made available for several bottles or vials, here for four bottles, the middle part being penetrated by the bottle necks as can be seen in detail later.
  • part 1 partly describes four openings, which are usually round, 0 1 to 0 4 , in the area of the four corners of the part as recorded.
  • the edge of the hood which is provided to enclose the bottles after folding and setting up, consists of four side parts of the packing form, 2, 3, 4, 5, connected to the middle part 1 by four folding lines 15, 15 and 16, 16, globally, these fold lines form a rectangle.
  • Each of the four outer regions has on its outer edge (opposite the fold line 15), in the vicinity of the outer edge, an outstanding insertion flap 17, the purposes of which will be explained later.
  • the outer areas 2 ', 3', 2 ⁇ , 3 ⁇ on the opposite side of the tabs 17 extensions inwards, 8, 9, 10, 11, each of which has a flap, 8 ', 9', 10 ' , 11 ', which is attached by a fold line to said extension.
  • the other two side parts of the packaging form which correspond to the short sides of the rectangle that delimits the middle part 1, have a first area 4 and 5, the width of which corresponds almost exactly to the width of the fold lines 16, 16 being delimited by two opposite concave edges.
  • the areas 4 and 5 extend in relation to the central part 1 into two further areas or end areas 6, 7 by means of the fold lines 22.
  • the openings for the bottle necks 0 1 to 0 4 have a diameter which is smaller than that of the bottle necks and they are delimited by a row of tabs 12 with a trapezoidal shape, separated from one another by cuts 14 and arranged around the fold lines 13.
  • the packaging form is folded as follows:
  • the outer region 7 of the side part of the packaging form is bent inwards by approximately 180 ° at the folding line 22, against the back of the adjacent region 4, so that the tabs 17 are enclosed between the two Parts of the folding line 22, which is bent by 180 ° and the outer areas 2 ', 3' are taken between areas 4 and 7 simultaneously.
  • the same operations are carried out on the opposite side of the packaging form, the tabs 17, 17 and 21 being inserted in the same way and the regions of the end 2 ⁇ , 3 ⁇ of the parts 2, 3 of the packaging form between the regions 5 , 6 are enclosed with restraint of the tabs 17.
  • This collection hood for containers is suitable e.g. for bottles whose necks or closures or stoppers have a bulge, an unevenness or an outstanding lot running all around.
  • the bottles B 1 to B 4 in FIG. 2 have a bulge 30 just below their closures C 1 to C 4 .
  • the group of four bottles can thus easily be lifted up on one or more edges of the hood.
  • the distance between the lower edge of the beads and the area where the bottle neck enlarges with which the bottle presses against the inside of the middle part 1 of the hood is only slightly larger than the different tabs when they close around the bottle neck below the bulges.
  • the collecting hood is given a robust, rigid and stable quality, which is retained even with unsparing handling.
  • FIG. 3 shows an embodiment variant of the folding possibility of FIG. 1.
  • identical or similar elements or parts as in FIG. 1 are identified with the same reference numbers.
  • the side parts 2, 3 of the packing form are extended outwards by two areas 23 and 24, which are to be folded inwards against the central areas of zones 2, 3 when the hood is folded.
  • each zone 23 and 24 is connected to part 2 and 3 by two fold lines 27 and 28, which form a spindle-shaped intermediate region 29 and 30, respectively.
  • outstanding tabs 25 are provided correspond to the tabs 26 of the areas 6, 7 in their shape and in their function. These are located on the outer edges of areas 23 and 24.
  • the fold lines 27 and 28 take on a shape and position such that the areas 29 and 30 are oriented essentially transversely to the adjacent areas and thus reinforced gripping areas to lift the bottle group on the hood at the level of the edges.
  • the tabs 25, once placed tightly against the bottles, cause the areas 23, 24 to remain firmly in place when inserted.
  • Figure 4 illustrates a second basic type of package of the present invention.
  • This packing form is intended for two bottles and therefore has two openings 0 1 and 0 2 for the bottle necks in a rectangular central part that is elongated.
  • Two first side parts 102, 103 which correspond to the long sides of the rectangle, have a central region, to which two outer regions 108, 110 and 109, 111 adjoin.
  • the middle part 101 is separated from the side parts by fold lines 132, and the fold lines 131 in turn separate the middle regions of the side parts from their outer regions.
  • Each of the four outer regions 108 to 111 has on its outer edge (opposite fold line 132) an excellent flap 134, just like flap 17 in FIG. 1.
  • the two other side parts of the packaging form which correspond to the narrow sides of the rectangle, have a first region 112 or 113, which adjoins the outer regions and is separated from the middle part 101 by a fold line 136.
  • Each first area is extended by a second area 114 or 115, which is trapezoidal and essentially symmetrical to the first area, which it adjoins with fold line 128.
  • a semicircular stamping 133 is provided facing outwards, in an area where the fold line 128 is interrupted, in order to form an outstanding flap 135 when folded.
  • the second areas 114, 115 are each delimited by two wings 118, 119 and 116, 117, separated by the fold lines 129.
  • Each of these wings has a tab 130 along the outer edge which adjoins the outer edge of the second adjacent region, the purposes of which will be explained later.
  • the fold lines 129 are approximately exactly the same length as the fold lines 131.
  • the pack shape has a series of tabs 120 around each opening 0 1 and 0 2 for the bottle necks are separated from one another by thorough punchings 123 and fit on the fold lines 122, as can be seen in the drawing, in order to close off the whole.
  • This packaging form is folded as follows: the outer regions 110, 111 of the first side parts 102, 102 are approached to one another below the region 112 and are folded along the lines 131, so that the tabs 134 lie one above the other and also come to rest over the tab 135. Then the area 114 with the two wings 118, 119 is folded 180 ° under the area 112, so that, as in the folding of FIG. 1, the flaps 134 are enclosed between the two parts of the fold line 128.
  • the fold lines 129 come to lie approximately on the fold lines 131 and thereby form a curvature, so that the region 114, as indicated, comes behind the region 112 and the regions 118 and 119 nestle against the parts of the side parts 102 and 103 which nestle are just to the right of lines 131 on Figure 4.
  • the tabs 130 and 130 overlap the tabs 120, which delimit the left region of the opening 0 1 .
  • the flaps or tabs 120, 130 and 130 ' which surround the openings 0 1 and 0 2 , first when the closure or come through bulges, pressed elastically outwards, then, through the force play of the snap back, they lay around the bulges 140 in order to secure the bottles and the cap.
  • this also means that areas 114, 118, 119 and 115, 116, 117 are held in place on the inside of the hood, that is, the overall strength of the hood is improved.
  • FIG. 5 differs from the basic embodiment in FIG. 4 in that the side parts 102 and 103 are extended outwards by the areas 106 and 107, spindle-shaped intermediate areas 104 and 105 being provided.
  • the areas 106, 107 have double tabs 126 on the outside of the outer edges, which are separated by a transverse punch. (127)
  • the areas 106, 107 are folded against the side parts 102, 103 and thus form two lateral gripping zones at the level of the spindle-shaped intermediate areas, as can be clearly seen in FIG. 6.
  • the various packaging forms described here can be made from any material suitable for the application in question, especially a sheet of plastic or relatively strong cardboard. As has already been said, it is important that the material have a certain inherent elasticity in order for it to be there is sufficient snap-back force in the area of the tabs which are to enclose the bottle necks so that the tabs fit tightly around the bulges of the bottle necks.
  • the tabs can also close around the closures or lids of the containers, the bottle necks then being smooth.
  • FIGS. 1 to 3 preferably relate to bottle groups in two rows and the shapes of FIGS. 4 to 6 to one Grouping in a row.
  • the invention relates to all containers with a neck and, more generally, to all objects which have a similar shape.
  • holes for the fingers can be made in the upper region 1 or 101 of the hood, as is usually already the case.
  • tabs 17 or 134 with the associated die cuts 21 or 133; e.g. it is possible to attach two tabs in the areas 2 ', 3', 2 ⁇ , 3 ⁇ , two punchings then being provided in the area of the fold lines 22.
  • semicircular die cuts 21 or 133 could be replaced by straight die cuts in the extension of the adjacent fold lines 22 or 128.
  • closure flaps would have to be inserted into the slots formed by these punchings when folding the packaging form when the affected areas are placed one on top of the other.
  • the packaging forms which correspond to this invention can be folded by hand or by machine.
