  • the lower clip 40 may be configured to be further lifted up by about 3mm after the contact.
  • the mascara removing device 1 is smoothly pulled out in the arrow direction of FIG. 4 after the upper and lower clips 30 and 40 entirely clip the eyelashes 50, the mascara dissolved by the mascara-removing material is removed by the absorbent material 34 and the comb teeth 44.

  • the second embodiment is similar to the first embodiment except that the upper clip 30 is provided with another comb 42 instead of the absorbent member 32. Since the comb 42 also has a certain degree of hygroscopicity, the second embodiment may perform the same function and operation as the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 6, both the upper and lower clips 30 and 40 may be provided with the absorbent members 32.

  • the mascara removing device in accordance with the present invention may be configured to include a biasing means installed at the grip without departing from the spirit or scope of the present invention. That is, the biasing means (or the lever 220 shown in FIG. 2) may be installed at the body of the grip and connected to at least one clip to transmit power to clip the eyelashes. Therefore, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various mascara removing devices may be made to remove the mascara applied on the eyelashes by adapting the comb and the absorbent member.
  • Effects of the mascara removing device in accordance with the present invention are as follows. First, it is possible to suppress water or harmful chemical mascara- removing material from permeating into eyeballs to protect the eyeballs, since the absorbent member and the comb teeth are in contact with only the eyelashes. Second, the mascara on the eyelashes can be rapidly and cleanly removed, and the mascara-removing material can be less used, since the mascara- removing material is selectively smeared only on the eyelashes. Third, it is possible to provide significant effects in comparison with the conventional method by using water instead of mascara-removing material which is on sale, and to save costs since make-up cottons, creams and so on are not used.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'enlèvement de mascara permettant d'enlever facilement le mascara appliqué sur des cils. Le dispositif comprend des pinces supérieure et inférieure destinées à presser les cils vers le bas et vers le haut, ainsi qu'un élément absorbant et/ou un peigne installés sur les pinces afin d'enlever le mascara. Par conséquent, il est possible d'empêcher que la matière chimique d'enlèvement de mascara ne pénètre dans les globes oculaires afin de protéger les globes oculaires, étant donné que l'élément absorbant et le peigne sont en contact uniquement avec les cils.
