Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a cordless screwdriver according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a cordless screwdriver is for example from the US 6,206,538 known.
  • cordless screwdrivers in the performance class between 2.4V to 3.6V, such as from the EP 1 066 930
  • the brackets are z. B. attachable to a wall to facilitate handling when loading.
  • NiCd cells discharge after a certain time without power output and also unused cordless screwdrivers are partially discharged after a short time. If they are charged when they are partially discharged, only the difference of the new charge amount is available due to the memory effect after the charging process - and thus a reduced power.
  • cordless screwdrivers Another disadvantage of the known cordless screwdrivers is their voluminous size due to large assemblies, e.g. the gear, the switch systems and the batteries in the form of NiCd cells whose size "4/5 Sub-C" when placed in the handle affects the ergonomics and usability, since tight, angular screw points are unreachable.
  • the invention with the features of claim 1 has the advantage that a plurality of circuits in the interior of the cordless screwdriver with a single switch button (on-off button) independently switched on or off and that in the off position of the switch button actually all the power consumers are turned off.
  • the long, over almost the length of the inside of the handle extending switch button has an actuating Schwenkhub associated with at least two switching positions. This means - regardless of the operating position - only low operating forces needed and the device is conveniently controlled in almost every position of the operator's hand switched on.
  • the motor housing consists of centrally divided half-shells, which grasp the cylindrical gear housing with radially inwardly projecting support tongues from both sides and hold centered in the mounting position, the gear housing is precise and safe without separate fastening or guide elements such as screws, centering pins or locking elements connectable to the motor housing.
  • the cordless screwdriver Since the lithium-ion battery has almost no self-discharge, the cordless screwdriver is fully operational even after long periods of use, during use breaks the cordless screwdriver can rest for as long as desired on a charging cradle in charging mode.
  • the charging tray is stable on a flat shelf adjustable and does not need to be fixed and not be held when the cordless screwdriver is removed. As a result, he is always ready for removal with only one hand, with no plug pulled or no holder must be removed. In addition, it is always automatically ensured that the cordless screwdriver is charged.
  • the compact lithium-ion battery sits backlash-free position-secure inside the half-shell-like handle areas, wherein at its end two welded tabs are soldered to electrical leads to the board. It is integrated in the strength structure of the handle and increases its stiffness with low material usage for the half shells of the housing.
  • the board provided for the control is a chassis of a main and a switch, of charging contact tongues, a switch for the direction of rotation circuit and three LEDs for the two direction indicators and a charge control lamp and control means of the charging and discharging the lithium-ion batteries.
  • the board Arranged longitudinally inside the handle, the board is integrated as an additional transverse rib in the strength structure of the housing or the handle and increases its flexural rigidity.
  • the switch button and the direction switch are designed so that on the one hand while holding down the switch button is locked and can not be moved and on the other hand, the button is locked and can not be pressed in the on position when the direction switch in its middle position, the recommended transport position, stands.
  • soldered on the board charging contact tongues protrude through openings in the lower end of the handle and are contacted in charging position of mating contacts of the charging tray, with no additional cables or coupling plug must be pressed.
  • a green or red LED soldered to the board lights up. These are visible in the housing by means of transparent plastic part as a window covered arrow-shaped openings. An arranged between the arrow-shaped openings, visible through a rectangular opening charge status indicator shows by slower or faster flashing, if the battery is more or less fully charged.
  • the gear housing is also the outer wheel of the planetary gear.
  • the tooth cross sections and the tooth height of the outer gear of the planetary gear (gear housing) at the same time stop a locking washer, which serves as axial securing and forms the motor-side boundary of the planet gears of the first stage.
  • the safety washer has two wings projecting over its circumference, which can be locked in a manner similar to a bayonet catch in two corresponding recesses of the transmission housing and can be secured against axial loosening by turning in a subsequent annular groove. This is at the same time a transport shear for the separately deliverable transmission.
  • the disc is held in the installed state in each case by their wings between the engine and the transmission housing. It is also a lock washer with protruding, angled wings used, which are securable into the wells by pressing.
  • the planetary gear is provided with an autolock system, i. with self-locking output spindle when turning the same by force application from the outside.
  • Its gear housing has motor side top and bottom axial extensions with an annular groove and a torus.
  • the gear housing, the board with battery, motor, LEDs and electrical elements and the switch lever with contact plate and springs and the transparent plastic part are placed in a first half-shell, closed with the second half-shell and closed with only four identical screws and thus completely assembled and result in a cost-effective solution.
  • the compact design makes it possible to keep the device from the gear housing or the adjacent motor housing so in one hand, while holding with their index finger a screw on the bit, at the same time the large-scale on-off button conveniently with the remaining fingers is operable, and also the free hand can hold the workpiece.
  • the large rubber jacket with nub surface over the entire grip area allows the cordless screwdriver to be fitted particularly securely in the operating hand.
  • FIG. 1 shows a pistol-type cordless screwdriver 10 with aligned to the screw motor housing 12 and thereof angled handle 14.

  • the outwardly protruding from the inlet opening 29 of the housing 12 switch button 26 is configured as accessible from the outside for the operating lever pivot lever and communicates inside the handle 14 with two separate switches 32, 34. It is limited to a pivot axis 30 pivotally mounted in the axle holder 31 in that it carries on the opposite end of the pivot axis 30 a stop tongue 27 which engages behind the entry opening 29 for the Wegasteaste 26 inside the handle 14 so that they secured against accidental emergence from the housing 12 beyond its off position and against loss is.
  • the switching button 26 engages with a centering and guiding mandrel 263 on its back in a compression spring 28, which is supported adjacent inside the handle 14, so that the switch button 26 when released from a switch-on automatically returns to its off position in which the Motor movement stopped and all previously activated auxiliary switching functions, eg the workstation lighting 80, the rotation direction indicators 57, 58 or the charge status indicator 75 are turned off.
  • the actuating stroke is about 4 mm long in the middle of the switching button 26 and thus short and user-friendly.
