Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum hydrodynamischen Verschlingen zum vorzugsweise bindemittelfreien Verfestigen der Fasern einer Faserbahn aus natürlichen und/oder künstlichen Fasern jeglicher Art, bestehend aus:
- a) nur einem die Faserbahn transportierenden ersten Lieferband und einem nachfolgenden Endlosband, das zwischen mindestens zwei Walzen gespannt geführt und umgelenkt ist,
- b) einer dem Endlosband zugeordneten ersten Vernadelungstrommel, der vorzugsweise über die Arbeitsbreite zumindest ein Düsenbalken achsparallel direkt zugeordnet ist,
- c) zumindest einem Düsenbalken, dessen Wasserstrahlen gegen die Rückseite des Endlosbandes und durch das Endlosband gegen die Faserbahn und gegen die Vernadelungstrommel zumindest zum Nässen desselben gerichtet sind, wobei das Endlosband oberhalb des Lieferbandes und der Vernadelungstrommel tangential an die Vernadelungstrommel herangeführt ist,
- d) einer Faserbahn, die allein auf der unteren Außenseite des Untertrums des Endlosbandes gehalten ist,
- e) einer Faserbahn, die nach der ersten Vernadelung mit Hilfe zumindest eines Düsenbalkens nach unten auf die Vernadelungstrommel übergeben ist,
- f) dem die Faserbahn transportierenden Untertrum des Endlosbandes, dem auf seiner unteren Außenseite zum Halten der Faserbahn ein unter Unterdruck stehender Saugkasten oberhalb des Untertrums des Endlosbandes und der Vernadelungstrommel zugeordnet ist,
- g) dem auf der Unterseite die Faserbahn transportierenden Endlosband, dem ein weiteres zwischen Umlenkwalzen gehaltenes, die Faserbahn übergebendes Endlosband vor- und zugeordnet ist, das die Faserbahn auf dem Obertrum transportiert und auf das Untertrum des Endlosbandes abgibt.
