Dies ist gegeben bei der vorbekannten Vorrichtung, wo die Endlosbänder beim Wasservernadeln gegen die Vernadelungstrommel gepresst werden. Bei dieser neuen Vorrichtung entfällt die Vernadelungstrommel entsprechend der älteren WO-A-01/51693, und es wird in einfacherer Weise nur zwischen den beiden Arbeitstrums der Endlosbänder vernadelt. Diese Endlosbänder werden aber bei der Konstruktion nach der vorbekannten Vorrichtung dem Druck der Wasserstrahlen nachgeben, so dass das Vlies beim Wasservernadeln nicht fest zwischen den Endlosbändern gehalten ist. Außerdem schleifen die durchhängenden Endlosbänder im Bereich der Absaugung gegen die Absaugschlitzbegrenzungen.
