Description

  • Die Erfindung richtet sich auf einen Applikator für Mascara, Haarfärbemittel oder ähnliche kosmetische Produkte umfassend einen mit einem Stiel verbindbaren Grundkörper aus einem relativ harten Material, wie Metall oder Hartkunststoff, mit einer Mehrzahl von umlaufenden Rillen.
  • Ein gattungsgemäßer Applikator ist bekannt aus CH 372 802 . Der vorbekannte Applikator weist einen metallischen Grundkörper auf, auf dessen Oberfläche relativ flache, schraubenförmige Rillen eingebracht sind. Weiterhin sind solche Applikatoren bekannt aus EP 0 432 384 , WO 98/43511 und DE 25 33 481 A1 .
  • Ein solcher Applikator hat sich als solcher gut bewährt, weist aber den Nachteil auf, dass die schraubenförmigen Rillen verhältnismäßig geringer Tiefe aufgrund der Schrägstellung, die durch die Schraubenkonfiguration bedingt ist, keine oder zumindest keine hinreichende Kämmwirkung auf die Wimpern ausüben und andererseits durch die geringe Tiefe eine Volumenerhöhung der Wimpern kaum möglich ist.
  • Hiervon ausgehend liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Applikator der in Betracht stehenden Art so weiterzuentwickeln, dass unter Wahrung der grundsätzlichen Vorteile dieses Applikatortyps die Kämmeigenschaften und die Volumengebung beim Auftrag verbessert werden.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass die Rillen parallel zueinander und im Wesentlichen senkrecht zur Längsachse des Grundkörpers verlaufen, wobei die Tiefe der Rillen 0,4 bis 2,1 mm, insbesondere ca. 0,8 mm, beträgt.
  • Durch die zueinander parallele Anordnung der Rillen wird gegenüber einer schraubenförmigen Anordnung gemäß dem Stand der Technik eine deutlich verbesserte Kämmwirkung und ein gleichmäßiger Auftrag erreicht. Durch solche im Vergleich zum Stand der Technik vergleichsweise tiefe Rillen werden verbesserte Transfereigenschaften für die Mascara-Flüssigkeit und eine erhöhte Kämmwirkung erreicht.
  • Insbesondere haben Untersuchungen gezeigt, dass für die Erzielung einer effektiven Kämmwirkung der Bereich des Wimpernansatzes am Augenlid von ganz besonderer Bedeutung ist, wobei sich ein Großteil der Kämmwirkung im äußersten Peripheriebereich des Applikators abspielt..Dabei hat sich gezeigt, dass die Wimpern in der Regel nicht sauber geordnet in einer einzigen Reihe nebeneinander am Augenlid austreten, sondern weitgehend ungeordnet in mehreren Reihen übereinander ausgebildet sind. Die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung trägt diesen anatomischen Gegebenheiten in optimaler Weise Rechnung. Dementsprechend lohnt es sich zur Erlangung dieser Vorteile einen herstellungstechnisch größeren Aufwand in Kauf zu nehmen, der mit der erfindungsgemäßen Ausbildung von Rillen parallel zueinander und senkrecht zur Längsachse im Gegensatz zu vorbekannten schraubenförmigen Rillen verbunden ist.
  • In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, dass der Grundkörper im Wesentlichen zylinderförmig ist, wobei er mit Vorteil wenigstens ein sich kegelstumpfförmig verjüngendes Ende aufweist, wodurch der Schminkvorgang in den Randbereichen erleichtert wird.
  • Günstigerweise ist der Boden der Rillen und/oder der Kamm zwischen zwei benachbarten Rillen abgerundet.
  • Der Abstand zwischen zwei benachbarten Rillen kann 0,2 bis 1,0 mm, insbesondere 0,64 mm betragen.
  • Über die Länge des Applikators können 5 bis 580 Rillen verteilt sein.
  • Der Applikator besteht vorzugsweise aus einer Chrom-Nickel-Legierung.
  • Wenn die Kämme bzw. Rillen abgerundet ausgebildet sind, liegt der Krümmungsradius zwischen 0,05 und 0,3 mm.
  • Der Grundkörper kann eine Längsbohrung aufweisen, die mit einem leichteren Material, z. B. einem Kunststoff, ausgefüllt sein kann, um auf diese Weise eine Gewichtsersparnis zu erreichen.
  • Der Grundkörper kann ein Verbindungsabschnitt zur Verbindung mit einem Stil aufweisen, wobei der Verbindungsabschnitt im Querschnitt wenigstens abschnittsweise 5eckig ist. Wenn dieser 5eckige Abschnitt von einem Hülsenabschnitt des Stils übergriffen wird, und senkrecht zur Längsachse ein beheizter oder unbeheizter Prägestempel auftrifft, ist dementsprechend sichergestellt, dass dieser stets eine nahezu senkrechte Gegenfläche findet, sodass eine sichere Verbindung hergestellt werden kann.
  • Nachfolgend wird die Erfindung anhand eines bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels in Verbindung der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Dabei zeigen:

  • Ein in der Zeichnung dargestellter Applikator 1 ist mit einem Stiel 2 verbunden, der seinerseits wieder an einer Verschlusskappe 3 befestigt ist, die zum Schließen eines Vorratsbehälters und gleichzeitig als Griff dient. Der Stiel 2 kann mit einem Gewinde zum Aufschrauben auf einen Behälter ausgestattet sein.
  • Insbesondere aus Figur 2 und 3 wird deutlich, dass der Applikator 1 einen im Wesentlichen zylinderförmigen Grundkörper 4 mit zwei sich kegelstumpfförmig verjüngenden Enden 5 und 6 aufweist. Im Bereich des Endes 5 ist eine Ausnehmung 7 zur Befestigung eines Stiels eingebracht.
  • Der Grundkörper 4 ist mit einer Mehrzahl von Rillen 8 versehen, welche parallel zueinander und senkrecht zur Längsachse 9 des Grundkörpers 4 verlaufen.
  • Gemäß dem bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiel beträgt die Tiefe der Rillen 0,8 mm. Der Boden der Rillen 8 und der jeweilige Kamm 10 zwischen zwei benachbarten Rillen sind abgerundet ausgebildet.
  • Ergänzend bzw. abweichend von dem vorstehend beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiel können noch folgende Ausgestaltungsmerkmale vorgesehen sein:
  • Die Rillen 8 können im Querschnitt ganz oder teilweise V- oder U-förmig gestaltet sein.
  • Der Applikator kann mit einem transparenten oder farbigen Lack beschichtet sein. Durch diese Beschichtung wird eine Oxidation verhindert.
  • Die Umhüllende des Applikator-Körpers kann zylindrisch, zylindrischkonisch, konisch, konkav oder konvex gekrümmt sein.
  • Dem Applikator kann eine Abstreifanordnung zugeordnet sein, die aus Gummi oder hochelastischem Kunststoff bestehen kann, und deren Abstreifring einen Durchmesser zwischen 2 und 8 mm aufweist, wobei ggf. in dem Abstreifring Unterbrechungen vorgesehen sein können.
  • Der Applikator kann in Längsrichtung gesehen mindestens eine Nut aufweisen. Die wenigstens eine Nut kann parallel oder schraubenförmig zur Längsachse des Applikators verlaufen. Es können ggf. mehrere, bis zu 18 Nuten vorgesehen sein.
  • Der Applikator kann vorzugsweise aus Leichtmetall, insbesondere Aluminium bestehen.

Claims (11)

  1. Applikator für Mascara, Haarfärbemittel oder ähnliche kosmetische Produkte umfassend einen mit einem Stiel verbindbaren Grundkörper aus einem relativ harten Material, wie Metall oder Hartkunststoff, mit einer Mehrzahl von umlaufenden Rillen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittelachse der Rillen (8) parallel zueinander und im Wesentlichen senkrecht zur Längsachse (9) des Grundkörpers (4) verlaufen, wobei die Tiefe der Rillen (8) 0,4 bis 2,1 mm, insbesondere ca. 0,8 mm, beträgt.
  2. Applikator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Grundkörper (4) im Wesentlichen zylinderförmig ist.
  3. Applikator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Grundkörper (4) wenigstens ein sich kegelstumpfförmig verjüngendes Ende (3, 6) aufweist.
  4. Applikator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Boden der Rillen (8) und/oder der Kamm (10) zwischen zwei benachbarten Rillen abgerundet ist.
  5. Applikator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Abstand zwischen zwei benachbarten Rillen (8) 0,2 bis 1,0 mm, insbesondere 0,64 mm beträgt.
  6. Applikator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass über die Länge des Applikators 5 bis 85 Rillen (8) verteilt sind.
  7. Applikator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Applikator aus einer Chrom-Nickel-Legierung besteht.
  8. Applikator nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Krümmungsradius zwischen 0,05 und 0,3 mm liegt.
  9. Applikator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Grundkörper (4) eine Längsbohrung aufweist.
  10. Applikator nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Längsbohrung mit einem leichteren Material, z. B. einem Kunststoff, ausgefüllt ist.
  11. Applikator nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Grundkörper (4) einen Verbindungsabschnitt zur Verbindung mit einem Stil aufweist, wobei der Verbindungsabschnitt im Querschnitt wenigstens abschnittsweise 5eckig ist.
