Definitions
- the present invention relates to a circuit breaker with a release lever for actuating a switching mechanism, a thermal release device for overcurrent release, which acts by means of a driver element to the release lever, and a differential current release device with which the release lever is also actuated, wherein the differential current release device to the driver element for actuating the release lever is coupled.
- a protective switching device is known from FR-A-1 317 059 known.
- LS / DI circuit breakers are combination devices in which a residual current release is integrated in the circuit breaker.
- Such combination devices can be housed in a single division unit with a unit width of, for example, 18 mm.
- the LS / DI circuit breakers therefore have three different tripping devices. Each of these tripping devices acts on a release lever, with which a switching mechanism is actuated.
- Known LS / DI circuit breakers for example, from the company Merlin Gerin or Hager are so implemented that in the circuit breaker with conventional design in addition a magnetic residual current release is integrated, which engages with a long, guided in the housing plunger to the release lever.
- the company F & G looks the other way another solution, according to which the magnetic trigger for high surge and short-circuit currents is combined coaxially with a magnetic residual current release. Both variants, however, are relatively expensive to implement.
- the FR-A-1 317 059 discloses a protective switching device in which both a thermal tripping device for overcurrent tripping and a differential current tripping device are provided. These act on opposite sides of the same lever, and cause in the case of triggering a break in the contact via a release lever.
- a bimetal-controlled circuit breaker in which a bimetal acts on overflow via a slide on a switching mechanism.
- the slider is in the form of a plate with a slot in which the bimetallic element engages.
- the object of the present invention is to propose a circuit breaker with integrated residual current release, in which the circuit breaker parts correspond to a simple circuit breaker and the residual current release is integrated with the least possible effort.
- this object is achieved by a protective switching device according to claim 1.
- the driver element has three teeth, of which a first tooth as a stop for the thermal release device, a second tooth as a stop for the differential current release device and a third tooth for engagement in the release lever serves.
- a standard standard strap used as a driver element only has to be supplemented by a tooth at a suitable distance.
- the protective switching device enables a simple arrangement of two magnetic triggers with an additional part in a single housing with, for example, the graduation unit 18 mm.
- the circuit breaker according to the invention for extended housing designs, as used for example in the English market space saving reasons in household distributions can be realized.
- the original arrangement of the components in the circuit breaker part can be maintained and also the tripping principles for the magnetic tripping and the thermal tripping can remain the same.
- the protective switching device according to the invention also comprises a magnetic triggering device for triggering in the case of short-circuit currents, which acts on the tripping lever via a plunger.
- a magnetic triggering device for triggering in the case of short-circuit currents, which acts on the tripping lever via a plunger.
- the thermal release device may comprise a bimetal strip as a triggering element.
- a tripping mechanism for overcurrent can be easily realized.
- the differential current triggering device has a magnetically operated plunger, which is coupled with a coupling element to the driver element. With this coupling element, it is possible to use a single driver element for two triggers.
- the coupling element has a groove in which the driver element is guided in thermal tripping. This can be dispensed with additional guide devices.
- the coupling element may consist of insulating material or at least have an insulating section, so that the plunger of the differential current triggering device is electrically insulated from the driver element.
- the coupling element in addition to the coupling function and the leadership function also take an insulating function. This multifunctional feature of the coupling element helps to save parts.
- FIG. 1 The arrangement of the individual components of an LS / DI circuit breaker 11 is FIG. 1 refer to.
- the magnetic release engages via its plunger 3 and the bimetallic strip 2 via a driver 4 designed as a bracket on the release lever 5 of the switching mechanism.
- a pawl 6 is released, so that the contacts of the circuit breaker can be disconnected.
- the residual current release 8 For the residual current release, another magnetic release, the residual current release 8, is now integrated in the circuit breaker 11. This residual current release 8 or its plunger 10 is connected by means of a coupling element 9 via the driver element 4 with the release lever 5.
- FIG. 2 are the elements required for the residual current release in the assembled state shown in perspective. These elements are the residual current release 8 including plunger 10, the coupling element 9, the driver element 4 and the release lever. 5
- the coupling element 9 is provided with a guide 91, as they the different views of the coupling element 9 in the FIGS. 4 and 5 can be seen.
- this groove 91 is corresponding FIG. 2 the comb-shaped driving element 4, the in FIG. 6 is shown individually hung.
- This driver element 4 has a first stop 41 for the bimetallic release and a second stop 42 for the differential current trip.
- the tooth-shaped stop locations 41, 42 are supplemented by a further tooth 43, with which the driver element 4 engages in a recess 51 of the release lever 5.
- the distance between the stop points 41 and 42 of the driver element 4 must enable the way for the bimetallic release.
- the armature or plunger 10 of the differential current release 8 has a circumferential groove 11. This groove 11 can accommodate a plunger 10 facing wall 93 of the coupling element 9 and thereby take the coupling element 9 in the case of triggering.
- the opposite wall 92 of the coupling element 9 serves to isolate the metallic armature or plunger 10 from adjacent live parts.
- the opening in the wall 93 of the coupling element 9 for the annular groove 11 may be formed so that a simple insertion of the coupling element 9 is made possible, wherein the coupling element 9 is then secured by a housing web from above.
- Another way to secure the coupling element 9 on the plunger 10 is to Drainnappen the two components together.
- the lower region of the opening in the wall 93 is designed smaller than the inner diameter of the annular groove 11.
- the components and the release movement By maintaining the components and the release movement, a cost-effective solution can be realized.
- this additional component variants are avoided.
- the residual current release with only a single additional part, the coupling element 9, coupled and the tripping principle of the residual current release can be magnetic in the usual way.
- the illustrated embodiment has the advantage that during the release process only small masses must be moved.

Description
- FIG 1
- einen Querschnitt durch eine erfindungsgemäße Schutz- schaltvorrichtung mit Darstellung der Auslöseanord- nung;
- FIG 2
- eine perspektivische Darstellung eines Differenz- stromauslösers;
- FIG 3
FIG 2 ; - FIG 4
- eine perspektivische Ansicht des Koppelelements von
FIG 2 ; - FIG 5
- eine perspektivische Ansicht des Koppelelements von
FIG 2 aus einer anderen Blickrichtung; und - FIG 6
- eine perspektivische Darstellung des Mitnehmerele- ments bzw. Bügels von
FIG 2 .
FIG 1 zu entnehmen.
- In
