Definitions
- the invention relates to a binding system for skis with a ski binding comprising two binding jaws - a toe piece and a heel holder - which jaws are arranged on support plates, which are connected by a connecting band, whose end portions can be fixed in different longitudinal position on the support plates, so that the jaws, the support plates and the connecting band form a preassembled unit, wherein a ski-mounted guide means is provided, on which the preassembled unit can be pushed and subsequently fastened.
- Such a binding system is for example from the WO 03/043707 A1 known.
- the toe and the heel holder are connected by adjusting their mutual distance to the ski length with the connecting band, the thus preassembled unit is pushed onto the ski-mounted plates and it is screwed the connecting band in its central portion with a plate arranged on the ski.
- both the heel holder and the toe jaw remain slidably in ski longitudinal direction in Ski malbiegung in their skifesten guides on the plates.
- the path of movement of each binding jaw in Ski malbiegung is somewhat limited.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a binding system of the type mentioned above, with pre-ski mounting already positioned on a connecting band binding jaws, Ski tellbiegung a larger path of movement in the ski longitudinal direction available.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in that the deferred preassembled unit is firmly connected only with one of the support plates with the ski-style guide device.
- the ski binding via the one binding jaws on the guide device and thus relative to the ski can be determined that the other binding jaws, this is preferably the heel holder, is freely slidable in Ski bebiegung in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
- the other binding jaws this is preferably the heel holder
- Ski bebiegung in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
- the ski binding either the support plate of the toe or the support plate of the heel holder with the ski-mounted guide device is connectable.
- the binding is to be fastened in the region of the toe piece or the heel holder, depending on the ability to drive, the type of ski etc.
- a simple, comfortable and durable attachment of the relevant support plate with the skifesten guide device is ensured by screwing.
- the relevant support plate can be connected to the skifesten guide means by means of a running transversely to the ski longitudinal locking pin.
- the position of the ski binding in the longitudinal direction of the ski is important for the driving characteristics. This position can vary depending on driving skills and also depending on the set mutual distance of the two binding jaws. It is therefore also advantageous if the skifeste guide means for attachment of the respective support plate in each case has two rows of extending in the ski longitudinal direction and symmetrically to this receiving holes.
- the guide device may comprise plates or in particular rail-like elements arranged in pairs, which extend in the longitudinal direction of the ski, wherein both the plate or the plates and the rail-like elements can either be fastened to the ski or integrated into the ski structure.
- the term "longitudinal direction”, “longitudinally movable” or “longitudinally displaceable” means a direction parallel to the ski longitudinal direction "front” the direction in which the front ski binding part and under “backwards” the direction in which is the rear ski binding part.
- the binding system serves for attaching and positioning a ski binding having a toe piece 1 and a heel holder 2 on a ski.
- the front jaw 1 and the heel holder 2 can be designed in any desired and, in particular, conventional manner, so that only contours of these ski binding parts are shown in the drawing figures.
- Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 the front jaw 1 by means of a base plate 1 a on a support plate 3, the heel holder 2 by means of a base plate 2a arranged on a support plate 4 and fastened.
- the support plates 3, 4 at their two extending in the ski longitudinal edge regions in cross-section L-shaped guide rails 3a, 4a, so that the support plates 3, 4 on arranged on the ski plates 7, 8, which will be discussed later, are pushed ,
- a connecting band 5 connects the underside of the support plate 3 of the front jaw 1 with the underside of the support plate 4 of the heel holder 2.
- the support plates 3, 4 are fixed to the connecting band 5 in different longitudinal positions, so that the mutual distance of the support plate 3 of the front jaw 1 to the support plate 4 of Heel holder 2 and thus the mutual distance of the Vorderbackens1 to the heel holder 2 is variable.
- each support plate 3, 4 extending in the longitudinal direction of the recess is formed, each of which receives a plastic insert 3b, 4b, which is centrally excluded in the longitudinal direction and is bounded by two rows of teeth 3c, 4c.
- the connecting band 5, which preferably also consists of plastic, is provided at its end portions with projections 5a with counter teeth 5b. The end portions of the connecting band 5 are thus connected to the support plates 3, 4 by simple mutual engagement of the teeth 3c, 4c and 5b, a certain frictional engagement prevents unwanted loosening.
- markings allow an exact adjustment of the mutual distance of the two ski binding parts 1, 2 to the length of the respective ski boot.
- the heel holder 2 can also be displaced in a manner not shown on the rear support plate 4 against the force of a start-up spring suspension in the longitudinal direction, so that when used in the ski binding ski boot the spring suspension presses the heel holder 2 in the direction of the front jaw 1.
- the components provided for this purpose can be used according to the in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 of the WO 03/043707 Be executed and it is also on the reference to these figures description of the WO 03/043707 directed.
- the base plate 1 a of the front jaw 1 is provided behind the sole holder 1 b but above the support plate 3 with a pair of symmetrically arranged to the longitudinal axis mounting holes 12, which also enforce the support plate 2.
- Each plate 7, 8 is provided with two pairs of receiving holes 9a, 9b in which fixing screws, not shown, can be positioned.
- the holes 9a are provided on mutually facing end portions of the plates 7, 8, the further pairs of holes 9b formed on the opposite end portions of the plates 7, 8 are elongated holes.
- the slots 9b allow for screwed into the ski screws a certain longitudinal mobility of the plates 7, 8 relative to the ski.
- the mutually facing end portions of the two plates 7, 8 engage each other, but are not firmly connected to each other.
- the end portions of the plates 7, 8 are designed such that a plate 8 with lateral projections 8a engages over the other plate 8 in the region of local recesses, so that the two mounted plates 7, 8 are held in the connecting region in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction. Perpendicular to the ski upper, a slight agility is allowed.
- the longitudinal side edges of the plates 7, 8 form guides 7b, 8b for the guide rails 3a, 4a of the support plates 3, 4th
- the plate 7 provided for pushing on the support plate 3 is provided in its middle section near the longitudinal sides, each with a row of receiving holes 7c.
- the two rows of holes 7c are formed symmetrically to the plate longitudinal axis and consist in the illustrated embodiment each of seven holes 7c.
- the distance between the pairs with respect to the longitudinal axis paired holes 7 c from each row is adapted to the distance between the mounting holes 12 in the base plate 1 a and the support plate 3.
- the rows of holes allow depending on the set distance of the two Binding jaws 1, 2 mounting the ski binding in their provided relative to the center of the ski position.
- the plates 7, 8 are preferably already mounted at the ski manufacturer.
- the skis are thus delivered together with the plates 7, 8.
- fixed plates 7, 8 are the two located on the support plates 3, 4 ski binding parts, toe 1 and heel holder 2, with the end portions of the connecting band 5 by making the engagement of the teeth 3c, 4c connected to the teeth 5b.
- the desired mutual distance of the toe 1 to the heel holder 2 is set.
- the toe 1 and the heel holder 2 thus together with the connecting band 5 form a preassembled unit which is now pushed from one side onto the plates 7, 8 secured to the ski 10, wherein the guide rails 3a, 4a of the support plates 3, 4, the guides 7b , 8b of the plates 7, 8 embrace.
- the set mutual distance of the toe 1 to the heel holder 2 is now selected on the basis of not shown markers on the plate 7 that pair of holes 7c, in which the inserted through the mounting holes 12 screws 13 (FIG. Fig. 4 ) should be screwed in to set the ski binding against the ski.
- the position of the front jaw 1 is fixed in the longitudinal direction of the ski, in the region of the heel holder 2 there is no separate fastening of the support plate 4 on the plate 8, so that the support plate 4 and thus the heel holder 2 are slidable in the ski longitudinal direction at Ski bebiegung on the plate 8.
- heel holder 2 and connecting band 5 in the region of the toe 1 can be provided in an analogous manner an attachment in the region of the heel holder 2.
- it may be provided to also form rows of holes in the ski 10 in order to be able to anchor the fastening screws 13 in the ski as well.
- the plates 7, 8 may already have been connected or integrated in the manufacture of the ski 10 with this / or be replaced by a single plate.
- the attachment of the front jaw or the heel holder to the associated plate can also be effected via a locking pin which can be inserted transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski, which can be inserted into corresponding bores on the sides of the plates running vertically to the ski top side and into corresponding bores of the support plate. It can also be provided to carry out the connecting band in two parts and to connect the two parts centrally between the binding jaws after their positioning or pushing on the ski guiding devices (plates 7, 8) with each other.
- a single plate may be provided instead of a plurality of plates.
- the plate (s) can or can be replaced by rail-like profiled elements that run in pairs in the ski longitudinal direction.
