Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for inserting and / or insertion of printing supplements, such as sheets, (folding) sheet, CD's, samples u. Like., In main printing products according to the preamble of claim 1 and the preamble of claim 7.
When inserting or inserting in the print finishing the insertion of sheets, (folding) sheet, CD's, samples u. Like. In finished products (for example, newspapers, magazines, brochures) understood. The inserted printing inserts are mostly promotional purposes. The process section is prior to packaging the relevant major print product. Are known packaging systems in the modular system consisting of a Druckhauptproduktanleger, a number of supplements and label dispensers for insertion and placement of the printing supplements in or on the main printing products, a film wrapping machine for packaging the main printing products with the printing supplements, an inkjet printer and postal code control, duplexer and stacker.
The main printing products are transported in the direction of their format height, ie with their back bond along the conveying direction, in a conveyor channel of carriers of a conveyor at intervals. To insert the printing inserts, the main printed products are opened by lifting the leading edge of the first sheet of the main printing product by means of a rotary nipple and transferring it downstream to baffles. The first sheet is guided on the baffles at an acute angle of at most 30 to 45 ° to the main part of the main print product, so that the main print product is substantially opened only in the front cut, while the intended for the printing inserts placement side is still more than 60% by the open Sheet is covered. To lift more than the first sheet of the main print product is pushed with its leading foot or head side against an opening sword. After inserting the printing supplements, the main printed products are closed by returning the opened sheets and it may be further printed supplements placed on the top of the main printing product.
The printing supplements are isolated from magazines with known rotational or drum feeders oriented transversely to the conveying direction of the main printing products and supplied to the continuously advancing main printing products essentially transversely to their conveying direction in order to be inserted through the opening in the front section of the main printing products. The supplied printing supplements undergo a change of direction after feeding, whereby the processing power of such loading and inserting machines is limited in terms of a reliable and gentle product feed of the printing supplements.
Die Geschwindigkeitskomponente rechtwinklig zum Förderkanal ist verkleinert, sodass die Auftreffgeschwindigkeit der Druckbeilagen an der gegenüberliegenden Führungswand bzw. im Rücken des Druckhauptprodukts vermindert wird.EP 1 231 176 A1 describes a device with which the printing inlays are fed in a substantially horizontal plane obliquely to the conveying direction of the main printing products, wherein the leading side edge of the printing inlays is parallel to the guide wall of the conveying channel. Due to the oblique transport direction results in a speed component in the conveying direction of the main pressure products, whereby the acceleration shock is reduced by the driver of the conveyor channel at the trailing edge of the pressure shims. The speed component perpendicular to the conveyor channel is reduced, so that the impact speed of the pressure shims is reduced at the opposite guide wall or in the back of the main printing product.
From EP 0 738 682 A1 a device for feeding pressure supplements is known, in which the pressure shims supplied transversely to the conveying direction are pre-accelerated in the conveying direction via two vacuum disks rotating in the same direction. The substantially horizontally arranged and each provided with a suction vacuum discs detect the pressure shims in each case one point and force the pressure supplement during a 90 ° rotary motion on a corresponding translational movement. Due to the occurring acceleration forces only light and stable pressure supplements can be processed with this device.
The present invention is based on the object, a method and an apparatus for inserting and / or insertion of printed inserts, such as sheets, (folding) sheet, CD's, samples u. Like. Provide in printing main products according to the preamble of claim 1 and the preamble of claim 7, which allows it to supply printing inserts with high processing power reliable and gentle on the product main products. Another object of the invention is to enable the positionally accurate insertion or insertion of the printing supplements.
This object is achieved in the method according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1. The device solves the problem with the features of the characterizing part of claim 7. The idea of the invention is to open the main print product so far that the print inserts from above on the intended placement side in the main printing product can be deposited and thus fed to the main print product in the same direction. Abrupt changes of direction in the feed of the printing inserts no longer occur, whereby a product-gentle feeding at high speed is made possible. In particular, labile printing supplements are no longer twisting and are stored in the exact position on the placement page. The insertion or insertion of the printing inserts under the trailing edge of the printing supplement at the driver and / or planting a side edge in the back of the main printing product is no longer required, so that a predeterminable, positionally accurate placement of the printing supplements in the main printing product is possible. Preferably, the at least first sheet of the main printing product is opened by about 90 °, so that the printing supplements can be fed in close to the back bond and can be deposited on the placement side.

In Figs. 1 and 2 in each case a generally designated 1 insertion machine is shown, for inserting
The
For inserting
The raised
Through the 90 ° opening, the
In the second embodiment of the inserting machine 1 shown in FIG. 2, instead of the
After inserting the printing supplements 3 a, b, the opened
By means of the method according to the invention, it is now possible for the first time to feed the printing inlays 3 a, b, c to the
