Um die Beilagen 7 jeweils störungsfrei übernehmen und wieder abgeben zu können, sind die Mitnehmer 10 innerhalb der Umlaufbahn um eine zur Umlaufachse 9 parallele Achse 14 angelenkt und können an der Übernahmestelle oder im Bereich der Beilagenabgabe an den Förderer 2 schwenkend gesteuert werden. Die etwa die Form eines Armes aufweisenden Mitnehmer 10 sind wenigstens an ihrem schwenkbaren Ende als Greifer ausgebildet. Die Greifer können die Beilagen 7 durch pneumatischen Unterdruck oder mechanisch erfassen, wobei sich die Stelle der Klebstoffzuführstation 6 hierzu besonders eignet. Nach der Übernahme der Beilagen 7 durch die Mitnehmer 10, werden sie von der Klebstoffzuführstation 6 entfernt auf dem Weg zur Übergabestelle des Förderers 2 um etwa 270° in eine etwa senkrechte Lage gewendet und an eine Seitenfläche eines aufliegenden Druckproduktes 3 gepresst. Somit werden die Druckprodukte 3 vorerst lagegleich aus dem Bereich der Klebstoffzuführstation 6 geführt und anschliessend aus dem Bereich der Umlaufbahn der Mitnehmer 10 hinaus in eine der Seitenfläche eines an einer einem Mitnehmer 10 zugeordneten Auflager 4 aufliegenden Druckproduktes 3 entsprechende Lage verschwenkt.
Da der Förderer 2 und die Mitnehmer 10 eine konstante Umlaufgeschwindigkeit aufweisen, bedarf es im Bereich der Übergabe der Beilagen 7 an die Druckprodukte 3 einer vorübergehenden Beschleunigung der Mitnehmer 10. Diese kann durch ein nicht gezeichnetes, auf die Mitnehmer 10 beschleunigend einwirkendes Steuerelement erzielt werden.
Nach dem Anpressen der Beilagen 7 lösen sich die Greifer von diesen und werden auf dem Weg zur Mündung der Förderstrecke 13 an der Umlaufbahn in die Erfassungslage weiter- oder zurückgeschwenkt.
Die Mitnehmer 10 sind an einer gemeinsamen Antriebsnabe befestigt, die in der Zeichnung nicht ersichtlich ist.
