Die erfindungsgemässe Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vorrichtung eine Einpackvorrichtung umfasst, in welcher das teilweise unter dem Stapel liegende Verpackungselement um den Stapel herumgeschlagen wird, wobei die Einpackvorrichtung eine Umschlagevorrichtung umfasst sowie Mittel zum Hindurchbewegen der Einheit aus Stapel und Verpackungselement durch die Umschlagevorrichtung.
Eine weitere Ausgestaltung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel zum Hindurchbewegen der Einheit aus Stapel und Verpackungselement als in einer Ebene liegende Transportstrecken bzw. Transportbänder ausgebildet sind, zwischen denen eine Förderlücke frei gelassen ist.

- The device according to Claim 8, characterized in that the wrapping device (14a-f; 18a, b; 44a, b) includes movable elements (23, 25; 34, 35; 39, 40; 41, 42a, b; 45a, b, 46a, b, 48a, b, 49a, b) that impinge on the conveying path of the unit made up of the stack (13) and the packaging element (11d) in the conveying gap (26).
- The device according to Claim 9, characterized in that the movable elements include a brush roller (34, 39) bearing bristles (35, 40), the brush roller being situated in the conveying gap (26) and being rotatable about a rotational axis oriented transversely with respect to the conveying direction.
- The device according to Claim 9, characterized in that the movable elements include rod-shaped entraining elements (25, 48a, b, 49a, b) that are movable through the conveying gap (26) while rotating about a specified rotational axis (47).
- The device according to Claim 11, characterized in that the rotational axis (47) is oriented transversely with respect to the conveying direction, and the entraining elements (25, 48a, b, 49a, b) carry out an oscillating motion in parallel to this rotational axis (47) at the same time as the rotational motion about this rotational axis (47), the oscillating motion taking place between a first extreme position in which the entraining elements (25, 48a, b, 49a, b) protrude into the conveying path of the unit made up of the stack (13) and the packaging element (11d), and a second extreme position in which the entraining elements (25, 48a, b, 49a, b) are situated outside the conveying path of the unit made up of the stack (13) and the packaging element (11d).
- The device according to Claim 12, characterized in that the rod-shaped entraining elements (25, 48a, b, 49a, b) are situated on opposite sides of the conveying path of the unit made up of the stack (13) and the packaging element (11d) in a mirror-symmetrical arrangement.
- The device according to Claim 13, characterized in that, for generating the superposed rotational motion and oscillating motion, the rod-shaped entraining elements (25) are each fastened to obliquely arranged rotary disks (23) in a concentric circle.
- The device according to Claim 13, characterized in that the superposed rotational motion and oscillating motion of the entraining elements (48a, b, 49a, b) are generated by separate mechanical means (47 or 45a, b, 46a, b).
- The device according to Claim 7, characterized in that means (16, 17) are provided for feeding the packaging elements (11d) to the wrapping device (18a, b).
- The device according to Claim 16, characterized in that the feeding means (16, 17) include a grooving device (50) for grooving the fed packaging elements (11d).
