Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for dispensing at least one water-soluble active substance to a cleaning brush, in particular for toilet cleaning, with a receiving element in which the active substance is arranged and which has a trained for releasable attachment to the brush handle of the cleaning brush support member.
- a device for the metered dispensing of cleaning agent to a cleaning brush, in particular for toilet cleaning, with a product container for the detergent is known, wherein the product container is designed for releasable attachment to the brush handle of the cleaning brush and at least one crushable side wall portion and a lower side Having outlet opening which opens when pressure on the crushable side wall area.
- the product container is designed for releasable attachment to the brush handle of the cleaning brush and at least one crushable side wall portion and a lower side Having outlet opening which opens when pressure on the crushable side wall area.
- the product container is provided with a holding element, which is preferably designed as a clamping element with a plurality of Sp Drossedorfferschen, which makes it possible to adapt the device to different Bürstenstield bemesser, ie use universally for different cleaning brushes.
- a holding element which is preferably designed as a clamping element with a plurality of Sp Drossedorfferschen, which makes it possible to adapt the device to different Bürstenstield bemesser, ie use universally for different cleaning brushes.
- the device has proven itself, it presupposes that the user actually exerts pressure on the product container so that the liquid active substance exits and reaches the region of the bristle head.
- this known device is only suitable for liquid active substances.
- a generic device is known from WO 02/09567 A1.
- This device has a preferably designed as a ring receiving element which is clamped to the brush handle of a cleaning brush.
- the active substance is arranged, which is fastened in a suitable manner on the receiving element.
- This device is basically suitable for various active substances, in particular for solid, gelatinous and / or granular.
- the handling of this device is not satisfactory because of the user to attach the active substance to the receiving element, which means that the user must touch the active substance itself, which is unacceptable.
- no metered product delivery can be done because after inserting the cleaning brush in the toilet bowl in a flushing or immersion in the toilet sump, the entire active substance is flooded with water. As a result, a metered active substance delivery can not be achieved.
- FR 2 827 753 discloses a toilet cleaning brush with integrated disinfection system.
- the toilet cleaning brush comprises a reservoir for the disinfectant solution attached to the end of the handle which communicates with the likewise hollow brush head via the hollow brush handle.
- the disinfectant solution passes after actuation of a lever in the brush head and from there via openings in the brush head provided projections.
- the object of the invention is to improve a generic device so that their handling is simplified and the most accurate dispensed product delivery is achieved.
- the receiving element for the active substance is formed as in the use position closed product container, which has a plurality of first openings and underside a plurality of second openings such that a predetermined amount of water in the product container may enter for dissolving a portion of the active substance disposed therein, and that the holding member is disposed in a lateral slit-shaped recess of the product container.
- the device thus has a closed product container in which the active substance is arranged.
- the user himself does not come into contact with the active substance, since the active substance is not accessible from the outside, but is located inside the product container.
- the device can thus be easily clamped in an easy-to-handle manner to the brush handle of a cleaning brush.
- the shape and the production of the active substance influence the exact dosage and the speed of product delivery.
- a higher pressure during pressing of these pieces can lead to a lower solubility, whereby a slower product delivery is effected.
- smaller pieces of cleaning agent are used or if the agent is used in the form of granules, then there is a much larger surface, which also increases the rinsing speed.
- the active substance suitable for use in a product container according to the invention may contain one or more of the following ingredients:
- surfactants from all known classes ie anionic, nonionic, cationic and amphoteric surfactants, can be used as surfactants.
- anionic and / or nonionic surfactants are used.
- the choice of suitable surfactants can influence the dissolving behavior of the active substance.
- anionic surfactants and among these, in turn, the monoalkyl sulfate sodium salts have been found to be particularly suitable.
- These are the monosodium salts of sulfuric acid monoesters of long-chain, preferably unbranched, alcohols of natural or synthetic origin.
- Particularly preferred are the derivatives of fatty alcohols and among these in turn the cocoalkyl sulfate and the lauryl sulfate.
- ethoxylated fatty alcohol sulfates is also possible.
- Other suitable anionic surfactants include in particular the alkylbenzenesulfonates.
- Gel-like active substances preferably contain nonionic surfactants.
- nonionic surfactants particularly suitable are the addition products of ethylene oxide (EO) to long-chain aliphatic alcohols having 12-18 C atoms.
- EO ethylene oxide
- alkyl polyglycosides can also be used as constituents of active substances according to the invention.
- acids can also be used as further constituents of the active substance.
- suitable acids are citric acid, malic acid, succinic acid, gluconic acid or amidosulfonic acid. These acids can furthermore be used in the form of their salts, in particular in the form of their alkali metal salts.
- water-soluble dyes may also be included.
- those dyes are used which do not prematurely diffuse out of the active substance.
- the active substances should also have a scent effect in addition to a cleaning action. Therefore, particularly preferred compositions also contain perfume. It should be noted in particular that with solid cleaning products by the decrease in the surface in the course of the application period of these products, the scent impression can subside. This undesirable phenomenon can be circumvented by using, as in the case of the European patent EP 0 791 047 B1, a cleaning agent with a core containing a higher concentration of perfume. As a result of this higher concentration, the reduction in the release of perfume due to the lower surface is largely compensated, so that the consumer does not perceive any diminishing fragrance impression.
- Gelled thickeners contain a thickening agent to adjust the desired viscosity. As such, it is preferred to use the polysaccharides known in the art as gelling agents, for example xanthan gum. Due to the nature and amount of the thickening agent used, in addition to the viscosity, it is also possible to influence the rinsability of the agent.
- the product container on the upper side has an upper wall surface in which the first openings are provided, wherein the ratio of the total area of the first openings to the total area of the upper surface between 20 and 50%, preferably between 25 and 40% ,
- the product container preferably has on the lower side a lower wall surface in which the second openings are provided, wherein the ratio of the total area of the second openings to the total area of the lower surface is between 20 and 80%, preferably between 45 and 55%.
- the product container consists of an upper part and a lower part.
- the product container can be produced by plastic injection molding.
- the product container may be in two parts, but it is preferably formed in one piece, i. Upper and lower parts are then preferably connected to each other via film hinges and locking elements. The active substance is inserted or filled with the upper part open, then the upper part is closed and the filled and closed product container can then be placed in a sales packaging.
- the product container for attachment to the brush handle and for receiving the support member has a lateral slot-shaped recess.
- the support member itself can either be suitably attached to the product container or formed integrally therewith.
- the lateral recess merges into an enlarged cylindrical recess on the underside. This makes it possible for the device to be arranged directly above the bristles in almost all cleaning brush types, since the upper cylindrical part of the bristle head, which is usually widened in relation to the brush handle, can then be received in the recess.

Description

- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
