  • the invention relates to a roller door according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • roller doors of this type are used in particular for closing hall entrances.
  • the closing element can be wound in transition from the closed position to the open position on a winding shaft arranged above the hall entrance. This ensures a space-saving storage of the closing element in the open position.
  • the closing element in the form of a so-called. Lamellenpanzers with a plurality of respect. Vertically to the direction of movement of the closing element extending hinge axes hingedly interconnected slats may be formed.
  • the closing element can also be in the form of a web-shaped curtain, for example made of PVC.
  • a weight compensation device is generally used with which the closing element is urged from the closed position upwards in the direction of the open position.
  • a weight compensating device can absorb the energy released in the course of the closing movement of the closing element, which energy is later available for assisting the opening movement.
  • Such weight compensation devices can be realized in the form of spring arrangements, in particular tension and / or torsion spring arrangements, which are tensioned in the course of the closing movement and relaxed again in the course of the opening movement.
  • the weight compensation devices may also have weights which are raised in the course of the closing movement of the closing element and lowered again in the course of the opening movement.
  • the weight balancing device When dimensioning the weight balancing device, particular care must be taken in the case of roller shutters with a closing element in the form of a sheet-like curtain that a considerable breakaway torque of the drive must be overcome at the beginning of the closing movement, whereas thereafter only a comparatively small moment is required to continue the opening movement.
  • This breakaway torque is typically 15 Nm or more, while to continue the movement usually a torque of only 2 to 3 Nm is needed.
  • the weight balancing device must be dimensioned so that it provides a correspondingly high breakaway torque available.
  • the closing element In the course of the opening movement, the closing element is accelerated in accordance with the breakaway torque and must be braked accordingly upon reaching the open position to avoid damage to the drive, the closing element and / or the winding shaft.
  • the said elements can also be dimensioned so that damage does not occur even when abrupt stopping the opening movement.
  • the two options described above require a high design effort to avoid damage to the roller shutter.
  • DE-U-202 04 637 proposed roller shutters in which the weight compensation device has at least one compensating element with which the closing element is urged in the closed position into the open position and which brakes the opening movement when reaching the open position again.

  • objects can be damaged by the stabilizing elements of conventional roller doors in the course of the closing movement.
  • damage to the curtain itself and / or the guide elements used to guide the movement of the curtain can occur when a vehicle strikes the curtain in the closed position.
  • DE-U-202 04 637 discloses a further development of known rolling doors, which is essentially characterized in that the stabilizing element is elastically deformable.
  • the stabilizing element is elastically deformable.
  • the stabilizing element has a spring element, in particular a parallel to the lower edge of the web-shaped curtain extending helical axis helically rotating spring element.
  • the preservation of a predetermined shape of the lower edge can be ensured particularly reliable when the spring element is biased to increase the restoring force at a deformation.
  • the risk of damage or injury can be further reduced if the stabilizing element realized, for example, in the form of a spring element is at least partially surrounded by a layer of resilient material.
  • the stabilizing element of the rolling door known from the cited document can be received in a loop formed at the lower edge of the web-shaped curtain, wherein it has proven to be particularly constructive when the lower edge of the web-shaped curtain is folded back on itself to form the loop.

  • a multi-part design of the stabilizing element is to emphasize that such a design a particularly low height of the stabilizing element allowed. Then only a small fall requirement of the gate is required. Furthermore, the multi-part design of the stabilizing element also allows a cost-effective and simple production of roller doors.
