Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung, insbesondere Tiefzieh-Folienverpackung für Kühlware, mit einem Bodenteil (1) und mit einem auf das Bodenteil (1) aufsetzbaren Deckel (2) zum Verschließen des Bodenteils (1), wobei der Deckel (2) von einem Rand (5) umsäumt ist und mindestens eine Senke (6) aufweist, deren Grund (7) gegenüber dem Rand (5) des Deckels (2) zurückgelagert ist, bei der über den Deckel (2) eine Displayfolie (3) gespannt ist, die sich im wesentlichen eben über die Senke (6) erstreckt und zusammen mit der Senke (6) einen Hohlraum (8) im Deckel (2) ausbildet. <IMAGE>

Description

Die vorliegende Neuerung betrifft eine Verpackung, insbesondere Tiefzieh-Folienverpackung für Kühlware, mit einem Bodenteil und mit einem auf das Bodenteil aufsetzbaren Deckel zum Verschließen des Bodenteils, wobei der Deckel von einem Rand umsäumt ist und mindestens eine Senke aufweist, deren Grund gegenüber dem Rand des Deckels zurückgelagert ist.
Kühlware, wie beispielsweise Wurst oder Käseaufschnitt wird heutzutage in sogenannten Tiefzieh-Folienverpackungen verpackt und in den Selbstbedienungs-Kühltheken der Supermärkte feilgeboten. Höherwertige Tiefzieh-Folienverpackungen sind wiederverschließbar, so dass die verpackte Ware auch nach Anbruch der Packung frisch bleibt.
Um die Kühlware für den Verbraucher unterscheidbar zu machen und sie mit den lebensmittelrechtlich vorgeschriebenen Informationen zu versehen ist es üblich, die noch unverarbeitete plane Deckelfolie zu bedrucken und anschließend in einem Tiefziehvorgang zum Deckel umzuformen. Die Deckel weisen zumeist eine Senke auf, die bei verschlossener Verpackung teilweise in das Bodenteil hineinragt. Der äußere Randbereich der Senke liegt dabei dicht an der Wandung des Bodenteils an, wodurch der Deckel kraftschlüssig auf dem Bodenteil gehalten wird. Auch steigern die durch den Tiefziehvorgang erzeugten Senken die Stabilität des Deckels.
Gerade bei großflächig bedruckten Deckelfolien ergibt sich das Problem, dass der Druck im Bereich der Senken durch den Tiefziehvorgang verzerrt wird, was die Lesbarkeit von bedeutenden Verbraucherinformationen verschlechtert.
Ebenfalls schlecht lesbar sind Schriftzüge, die sich sowohl auf den vorgelagerten Bereichen des Deckels als auch auf dem zurückgelagerten Grund der Senke erstrecken, da das Auge beim Verfolgen solcher Schriftzüge wechselnde Leseabstände fokussieren muss. Dies fällt insbesondere Menschen schwer, deren Akkommodation durch eine Sehbehinderung eingeschränkt ist.
Die vorliegende Neuerung macht es sich zur Aufgabe, eine Verpackung der eingangs genannten Art dahingehend weiterzubilden, dass der Druck selbst bei tiefgezogenen Deckeln verzerrungsfrei erhalten bleibt.
Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass über den Deckel eine Displayfolie gespannt wird, die sich im wesentlichen eben über die Senke erstreckt und zusammen mit der Senke einen Hohlraum im Deckel bildet.
Erfindungsgemäß gelingt es durch das Aufbringen der zusätzlichen Displayfolie, eine ebene Fläche auf dem Deckel zu schaffen, auf der Drucke verzerrungsfrei wiedergegeben werden können.
Sofern die Displayfolie vor dem Aufbringen auf den Deckel bedruckt wurde, bleibt das Druckbild mangels eines Tiefziehvorgangs unverfälscht. Darüber hinaus ist es möglich, eine Displayfolie nach dem Aufbringen großflächig zu etikettieren. Das Aufkleben von Etiketten über vor- und zurückgelagerte Bereiche eines Deckels hinweg ist nämlich ebenfalls mit Schwierigkeiten behaftet, die beim Etikettieren auf eine ebene Fläche nicht auftreten.
Zudem ist es denkbar, eine eingefärbte Displayfolie anstelle der üblicherweise verwendeten, klaren Tiefziehfolien zu verwenden. Die neuerungsgemäße Verpackung kann durch eine eingefärbte Folie bedeutend wertvoller und hochwertiger auftreten als dies bei im Stande der Technik bekannten Tiefzieh-Folienverpackungen der Fall ist.
Auch erschließt die funktionale Trennung von Deckelfolie und Displayfolie logistische Vorteile. Hierdurch ist es nämlich möglich, ein Produkt zwischen Bodenteil und Deckel neutral und in großen Stückzahlen zu verpacken und erst anschließend mit individuell kennzeichnenden Displayfolien zu versehen. Diese Herstellungsweise bietet sich beispielsweise dann an, wenn dieselben Produkte unter unterschiedlichen Marken vertrieben werden oder in einer marktspezifischen Sprache ausgezeichnet werden sollen.
Die Neuerung schlägt weiter vor, den zwischen Senke und Displayfolie gebildeten Hohlraum zu evakuieren. Die Druckdifferenz zwischen Hohlraum und Umgebung sorgt dafür, dass der Atmosphärendruck auf der Displayfolie lastet und sie gleichmäßig unter Spannung setzt. Hierdurch wird eine besonders plane Oberfläche erzeugt. Noch dazu neigt eine unter Spannung stehende Folie nicht zum Knistern, was einem hochwertigen Auftreten der Verpackung zuträglich ist.
Der Hohlraum kann im Deckel vorteilhafterweise dafür genutzt werden, Gegenstände aufzunehmen, die von dem im Bodenteil verpackten Produkt ferngehalten werden müssen. Dies kann beispielsweise Besteck und Serviette, eine Würzsauce oder aber auch ein Kinderspielzeug sein, welches sich zur Überraschung der jüngeren Verbraucher im Deckel verbirgt.
Die vorliegende Neuerung soll nun anhand von Zeichnungen vorgestellt werden. Es zeigen hierzu:

Die Folienstärke ist in den Zeichnungen mit einer einzelnen Strichstärke wiedergegeben. Die Transparenz der Folien macht Schnitte unnötig.
Die beispielhafte vorgestellte, neuerungsgemäße Tiefzieh-Folienverpackung ist aus drei einzelnen Folien zusammengesetzt. Aus einer ersten Bodenfolie wurde in einem Tiefziehvorgang ein Bodenteil 1 geformt. Aus einer Deckelfolie wurde ein Deckel 2 tiefgezogen. Auf dem Deckel 2 ist eine unverformte Displayfolie 3 angebracht.
Die Folien können in herkömmlicher Weise miteinander verschweißt oder verklebt werden, es ist möglich, die Folien wiederverschließbar aneinander zu befestigen.
Der Deckel 2 ist von einem Rand 4 umsäumt, der bei verschlossener Verpackung auf einem korrespondierenden Rand 5 des Bodenteils 1 aufliegt. In den Deckel 2 ist eine Senke 6 eingeformt, deren Grund 7 gegenüber dem Rand 4 des Deckels 2 zurückgelagert ist. Senke 6 und Displayfolie 3 bilden zusammen einen Hohlraum 8 im Deckel 2. In diesem Hohlraum 8 kann vor Aufspannen der Displayfolie 3 ein Gegenstand 9, wie beispielsweise eine Würzsauce eingelegt werden. Der in den Hohlraum 8 eingelegte Gegenstand 9 ist durch den Grund 7 der Senke 6 räumlich von einer Kühlware 10 getrennt, die von dem Bodenteil 1 der Verpackung aufgenommen ist. Auf diese Weise ist sichergestellt, dass der Gegenstand 9 die Kühlware 10 mikrobiologisch nicht kontaminiert oder beim Transport der Verpackung mechanisch nicht beschädigt.
Die Displayfolie 3 ist mit einem Druck versehen, der aufgrund der nahezu ebenen Streckung der Displayfolie 3 dem Verbraucher unverzerrt entgegentritt.
Der Verbraucher kann die Kühlware 10 entnehmen, indem er den Deckel 2 zusammen mit der Displayfolie 3 von dem Bodenteil 1 abzieht. Dabei helfen ihm nicht dargestellte Peel-off-Ecken. Den im Deckel 2 eingelegten Gegenstand 9, wie beispielsweise eine der Kühlware 10 zugehörigen Würzsauce, erhält der Verbraucher, indem er die Displayfolie 3 aufschneidet oder von dem Deckel 2 abzieht.

Verpackung, insbesondere Tiefzieh-Folienverpackung für Kühlware, mit einem Bodenteil und mit einem auf das Bodenteil aufsetzbaren Deckel zum Verschließen des Bodenteils, wobei der Deckel von einem Rand umsäumt ist und mindestens eine Senke aufweist, deren Grund gegenüber dem Rand des Deckels zurückgelagert ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass über den Deckel (2) eine Displayfolie (3) gespannt ist, die sich im wesentlichen eben über die Senke (6) erstreckt und zusammen mit der Senke (6) einen Hohlraum (8) im Deckel (2) ausbildet.
  2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Displayfolie (3) bedruckt ist.
  3. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Displayfolie (3) eingefärbt ist.
  4. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf der Displayfolie (3) ein Etikett angebracht ist.
  5. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hohlraum (8) evakuiert ist.
  6. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in den Hohlraum (8) ein Gegenstand (9) eingelegt ist.
