    Technisches Gebiet
  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anzeigeeinrichtung gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Derartige Anzeigeeinrichtungen werden im Freien, z.B. an Geschäftsfassaden oder in Hallen vor allem zu Werbezwecken eingesetzt. Sie tragen gewöhnlich einen Schriftzug oder mehrere Schriftzeichen, Logos u.ä.. Die Erfindung betrifft ausserdem ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer erfindungsgemässen Anzeigeeinrichtung.
    • Stand der Technik
  • Es sind Anzeigeeinrichtungen bekannt mit vor einer Grundplatte erhöhten Zeichen, die einstückig mit der Grundplatte sind und durch Tiefziehen derselben oder in Handarbeit mit Negativschablonen hergestellt wurden. Dies ist vor allem bei kleinen Stückzahlen oder Einzelanfertigungen äusserst aufwendig und teuer. Bei einer anderen Anzeigeeinrichtung wird ein separater Zargen aus Blech eingesetzt, der an der Grundplatte verankert ist und die Zeichen trägt. Er muss maschinell gebogen werden, was beträchtlichen Aufwand verursacht. Ausserdem ist seine Befestigung an der Grundplatte und die Befestigung der Zeichen ebenfalls arbeitsaufwendig.
  • Aus DE 100 55 438 A1 ist schliesslich eine gattungsgemässe Anzeigeeinrichtung bekannt, bei welcher der innere Rand und der äussere Rand des streifenförmigen Zargens, der aus Kunststoff, z.B. aus PVC besteht und welche in eine Nut der Grundplatte bzw. der Deckplatte eingreifen, mit einem Klebemittel vergossen sind.
  • Aus DE 298 06 672 U1 ist eine Anzeigeeinrichtung bekannt, bei welchem der äussere Rand des Zargens, welcher in eine Nut der Deckplatte eingreift, mit derselben verklebt oder verschmolzen ist, während der innere Rand mit der Grundplatte verschraubt ist. Bei einer zweistufigen Ausführung greift ein innerer Rand eines äusseren Zargen mit einer Nut an der Aussenseite der Deckplatte und ein äusserer Rand desselben mit einer Nut an einer Innenseite einer zweiten, äusseren Deckplatte ein. Der Zargen ist mit beiden Deckplatten verklebt oder verschmolzen.
    • Darstellung der Erfindung
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zu Grunde, eine gattungsgemässe Anzeigeeinrichtung anzugeben, welche auch in kleinen Stückzahlen oder als Einzelanfertigung rasch und mit geringem Aufwand herstellbar und leicht demontierbar ist. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmale im Kennzeichen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
  • Ausserdem soll ein besonders einfaches Verfahren zur Herstellung einer erfindungsgemässen Anzeigeeinrichtung angegeben werden. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmale im Anspruch 7 gelöst.
  • Die mit der Erfindung erzielten Vorteile liegen vor allem darin, dass sie die Möglichkeit bietet, Anzeigeeinrichtungen auch einzeln und in kleinen Serien in vielen verschiedenen Ausführungen jeweils mit sehr geringem Aufwand und sehr rasch herzustellen. Ausserdem ist die erfindungsgemässe Anzeigeeinrichtung leicht demontierbar und es sind daher Aenderungen auch nach Fertigstellung in einem gewissen Rahmen ohne weiteres möglich und ebenfalls sehr leicht auszuführen.

    Wege zur Ausführung der Erfindung
  • Die erfindungsgemässe Anzeigeeinrichtung weist (Fig. 1, 2) eine vorzugsweise ebene Grundplatte 1 auf mit einer zum Betrachter weisenden Grundfläche, welche z.B. mehrere Schriftzeichen trägt, von denen in Fig. 1 eines dargestellt ist. Das Schriftzeichen, im Beispiel ein 'i', besteht aus zwei Bestandteilen, welche jeweils eine geschlossene Kontur aufweisen. Von der Grundfläche her ist in die Grundplatte 1 eine Nut 2 eingesenkt, welche sich nach unten erweitert und, geringfügig nach innen versetzt, jeweils der geschlossenen Umfangslinie des Zeichenbestandteils folgt. Sie hat etwa ovalen Querschnitt. In der Nut 2 ist ein einstückig umlaufender Zargen 3 verankert, ein biegsamer Streifen konstanten Querschnitts, der vorzugsweise aus einem elastischen Kunststoff oder aus Metall besteht und senkrecht von der Grundfläche absteht. Er weist an einem in der Grundplatte 1 befestigten inneren Rand 4 einen durchgehenden Randwulst 5 auf, welcher im erweiterten Teil der Nut 2 liegt und welcher breiter ist als der Abstand zwischen den oberen Rändern derselben, so dass er in ihr schnappverriegelt ist und nur unter elastischer Deformation herausgezogen werden kann.
  • Eine Deckplatte 6, welche die Form des Zeichens oder Zeichenbestandteils aufweist, ist an ihrer der Grundplatte 1 zugewandten Seite mit einer Nut 7 versehen, welche, mit der Nut 2 in der Grundplatte 1 deckungsgleich und ihr auch im Querschnitt entsprechend, knapp innerhalb des Randes der Deckplatte 6 umläuft. Der dem inneren Rand 4 entgegengesetzte äussere Rand 8 weist einen Randwulst 9 auf, der dem Randwulst 5 am inneren Rand 4 entspricht und der in genau entsprechender Weise in der Nut 7 verankert ist, so dass die Deckplatte 6 sicher am Zargen 3 festgehalten ist.
  • Als Materialien kommen für die Grundplatte 1 und die Deckplatte 6 vor allem Acryl, insbesondere Acrylglas in Frage, doch sind auch andere Materialien wie Metall, Kunststoff oder sogar Verbundstoffe aus Holzspänen u.a. denkbar. Der Streifen, der den Zargen 3 bildet, sollte aus einem etwas weicheren, biegsamen, vorzugsweise elastischen Material bestehen, so dass er manuell gebogen werden kann. In erster Linie kommt dafür Kunststoff, z.B. Polycarbonat, PVC oder PET in Frage, doch ist auch Metall, z.B. Aluminium oder ein Verbundmaterial möglich.
  • Die Ausbildungen der Randwülste 5, 9 und der Nuten 2, 7 können sehr verschieden sein, s. Fig. 3. gemäß der Erfindung weist die Nut eine Hinterschneidung auf, d.h. ihr Querschnitt erweitert sich unterhalb einer Engstelle und der Randwulst liegt im erweiterten Bereich und ist breiter als die Nut an der Engstelle, so dass er ohne elastische Deformation nicht aus der Nut herausgezogen werden kann. Der Zargen 3 ist dadurch sicher mit der Festplatte 1 und der Deckplatte 6 verbunden, ohne dass zusätzliche Massnahmen wie Schweissen oder Kleben erforderlich wären. Nuten der beschriebenen Art können durch Fräsen hergestellt oder mindestens fertiggestellt werden. Der Randwulst kann jeweils den gleichen Querschnitt aufweisen wie die Nut, doch ist dies nicht erforderlich. Er kann, wie in Fig. 2, 4 dargestellt, hohl sein, so dass er leichter elastisch deformiert, insbesondere komprimiert werden kann. Gewöhnlich hat der Streifen konstanten Querschnitt und sind insbesondere die Randwülste durchgehend, doch können sie auch unterbrochen sein.
  • Im übrigen kann die erfindungsgemässe Anzeigeeinrichtung optisch in vielfältiger Weise gestaltet sein. Die Grundplatte 1 und die Deckplatte 6 können undurchsichtig, durchsichtig oder in verschiedenen Farben durchscheinend ausgebildet sein, desgleichen der Zargen 3. In der Regel sind Leuchtelemente 10, vorzugsweise Leuchtdioden vorgesehen. Wie in der Ausführungsform gemäss Fig. 1, 2 kann die Grundplatte 1 durchgehend ausgebildet sein und die Leuchtelemente 10 können jeweils im von der Grundplatte 1, der Deckplatte 6 und dem Zargen 3 umschlossenen Raum angeordnet sein. Es ist jedoch auch möglich, in der Grundplatte 1 jeweils eine Aussparung 11 (Fig. 4, 5) vorzusehen, deren Form jeweils der des Zeichens oder Zeichenbestandteils entspricht. Der Rand der Aussparung 11 läuft dann etwas innerhalb der Nut 2 um. Die Leuchtelemente 10 können in diesem Fall auch hinter der Grundplatte 1 liegen, z.B. in einem Kasten, dessen Frontwand die Grundplatte 1 bildet.
  • Zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemässen Anzeigeeinrichtung werden zuerst die erforderlichen Nuten 2 in der Grundplatte 1 durch Fräsen oder durch Schneiden und anschliessendes Fräsen der Hinterschneidung hergestellt. Je nach Ausführungsform werden ausserdem die Aussparungen 11 ausgeschnitten oder Bohrungen für Stromzuleitungen hergestellt und die Leuchtelemente 10 montiert. Ausserdem werden die Deckplatten 6 in gleicher Weise wie die Grundplatte 1 mit Nuten 7 versehen.
  • Die Herstellung und Befestigung des Zargens 3 erfolgen für jedes Zeichen oder jeden Zeichenbestandteil in einem Arbeitsgang so, dass der Streifen, an einer Stelle beginnend und der Nut 2 folgend, z.B. von einer Rolle abgewickelt und sukzessive dem Verlauf der Nut 2 entsprechend manuell gebogen und mit dem Randwulst 5 in die Nut 2 eingepresst wird. Das manuelle Biegen des Streifens in die Form des Zargens 3 ist im allgemeinen ohne weiteres möglich. Lediglich bei sehr scharfen Biegungen, insbesondere Ecken, kann es nötig sein, den Streifen etwas zu erhitzen. Grosse Präzision ist beim Biegen nicht erforderlich, da der Streifen seine genaue Form von der Nut 2 erhält, an die er sich anpasst. Wird der Anfangspunkt wieder erreicht, so wird der Streifen dort abgeschnitten. Die Enden können verklebt oder verschweisst werden, doch ist dies normalerweise nicht nötig. Anschliessend wird jeweils die Deckplatte 6 so aufgesetzt, dass sich die Nut 7 mit dem Randwulst 9 des Zargens 3 deckt und dann angedrückt, so dass der Randwulst 9 in die Nut 7 einschnappt.

Claims (9)

  1. Anzeigeeinrichtung zur permanenten Anzeige von Zeichen wie Schriftzeichen, Logos u.dgl., welche eine Grundplatte (1) umfasst, die mindestens eine der Kontur eines anzuzeigenden Zeichens oder Zeichenbestandteils folgende Nut (2) aufweist sowie mindestens einen von der Grundplatte (1) abstehenden, von einem biegsamen Streifen gebildeten an der Grundplatte (1) befestigten Zargen (3) mit einem inneren Rand (4), mit welchem er in die Nut (2) an der Grundplatte (1) eingreift und einem dem inneren Rand (4) entgegengesetzten äusseren Rand (8), ausserdem mindestens eine Deckplatte (6), deren Form der Form des Zeichens oder Zeichenbestandteils entspricht und welche längs ihres Seitenrandes mit dem äusseren Rand (8) des Zargens (3) verbunden ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Nut (2) sich nach unten erweitert und der Zargen (3) einen Randwulst (5) aufweist, welcher im erweiterten Bereich der Nut (2) liegt.
  2. Anzeigeeinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zur Befestigung der mindestens einen Deckplatte (6) am Zargen (3) dieselbe eine ihrem Seitenrand folgende Nut (7) aufweist und der Zargen (3) mit seinem äusseren Rand (8) in die Nut eingreift.
  3. Anzeigeeinrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Nut (2, 7) einer geschlossenen Linie folgt.
  4. Anzeigeeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zargen (3) einstückig ist.
  5. Anzeigeeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zargen (3) im wesentlichen aus Kunststoff, insbesondere Polycarbonat, PVC oder PET besteht.
  6. Anzeigeeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zargen (3) im wesentlichen aus Metall, insbesondere Aluminium besteht.
  7. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Anzeigeeinrichtunges nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, bei welchem in der Grundplatte (1) die mindestens eine Nut (2) hergestellt wird, anschliessend zur Herstellung und Befestigung des Zargens (3) ein entsprechender biegsamer Streifen dem Verlauf der Nut (2) der Grundplatte (1) entsprechend gebogen und mit dem inneren Rand (4) in die Nut (2) eingeführt wird und schliesslich die Deckplatte (6) auf den Zargen (3) aufgesetzt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Nut (2) mit einer Hinterschneidung versehen wird und der innere Rand des biegsamen Streifens einen Randwulst (5) aufweist, welcher beim Einführen des inneren Randes (4) in die Nut (2) in dieselbe eingepresst wird.
  8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Nut (2) durch Fräsen hergestellt oder fertiggestellt wird.
  9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Streifen an einzelnen Stellen, an denen er besonders stark gebogen wird, vorgängig erhitzt wird.
