Definitions

  • the invention relates to a decorative element as well as a chain formed from a plurality of jewelery elements according to the invention, which are e.g. worn as a bracelet or can be used as a watch strap.
  • a generic jewelry element known with a housing which leaves free at a front side an elongated rectangular opening.
  • a rotary member is arranged, which has approximately the shape of a three-sided prism and which is rotatable about an opening parallel to the axis of rotation and snap-locked in three different positions in which it each of the opening to a side surface with the housing.
  • Several such decorative elements may be rotatably connected to the side edges limited, so that they form a chain, such as a bracelet.
  • US-A-3,217,514 shows a chain of several links, each of which has a rectangular frame surrounding a diamond-shaped opening.
  • the opening in each case receives a likewise diamond-shaped rotary part, which is rotatable about a longitudinal axis of rotation and in two positions spaced apart by 180 ° and two intermediate positions can be locked.
  • the links adjoin one another at sides parallel to the axes of rotation.
  • a ring having a square crown having a laterally open receptacle along each of its four sides for a rotating part which is approximately in the shape of a six-sided prism and is rotatable about its axis parallel to the side, in multiple positions with the housing is snap lockable.
  • a plate is rotatably mounted about a central axis parallel to the said side, which can assume two positions different by 180 °. After unfolding the frame, the plate can be rotated by 180 ° and fixed by folding it back into the basic position in the new position.
  • the invention is based on the object, generic jewelry elements in such a way that with a simple structure their appearance can be changed in a suitable design of the wearer in a variety of ways. This object is solved by the features in the characterizing part of claim 1.
  • the advantages of the invention are to be seen in the fact that at least two rotary parts that can be designed differently on different sides or decorated, can be selectively and independently brought into two or more rotational positions in which they a visible outside the one or the turn the other side so that they each have a desired aesthetic Create an impression.
  • the inventive decorative element is relatively simple and robust. Conversions are easy to accomplish and require no tools or technical skills.
  • Fig. 1 shows a clock 1 and two attached to the sides of the same chain portions of four decorative elements 2, at the ends of complementary parts of a closure 3 are attached.
  • the decorative element 2 has a rectangular frame 4, which consists of a first portion which comprises a first front strip 5 and two adjoining the same sidebars 6, 7 and a second portion which forms a first front strip 5 opposite the second front strip 8. It is bolted to the ends of the two side strips 6, 7 or otherwise removably connected.
  • the frame 4 surrounds a rectangular opening 9, which is penetrated by a centrally located between the side strips 6, 7 and parallel to them axis of rotation 10, the continuation at both ends penetrates through holes in the front strips 5, 8 and is anchored in the frame 4 , It consists of two parts bolted together and is removable.
  • the axis of rotation 10 carries a first rotary member 11 which includes a subsequent to the first front panel 5 base 12, projecting from the two laterally spaced extensions 13, 14 to the second front panel 8. In the recess formed between them, an elongated second rotary member 15 is arranged, which also extends to the second front panel 8 and is forked by the first rotary member 11.
  • the second rotary member 15 has a longitudinal bore which continues in a bore through the base 12. The bores receive the axis of rotation 10, so that the rotary parts 11, 15 rotatably seated on the same.
  • the side surfaces of the first rotary part 11 are formed as sectors of the lateral surface of a cylinder whose axis coincides with the axis of rotation 10.
  • the inner surfaces of the side strips 6, 7 are formed complementary thereto.
  • the side surfaces of the second rotary part 15 are also cylindrical cylinder sectors and the inner surfaces of the extensions 13, 14 are complementary thereto (see Fig. 4b, d).
  • the front surfaces, which the front strips 5, 8 and the rotary parts 11, 15 face each other, are each flat and perpendicular to the axis of rotation 10.
  • first rotary member 11 and the second rotary member 15 are shown in Figs. 1, 2, 3a-c for better illustrating the structure of the jewelery element 2 in intermediate positions, they are usually, when the jewelery element 2 is worn on fixed positions (s. Fig. 4a, b, d) provided in which they are fixed by snap locks.
  • first rotary member 11 at the end of the extension 14 on a projecting beyond its front surface detent ball 16 which is Industriesstossbar against the force of a compression spring behind the front surface.
  • the second front strip 8 has two blind holes 17, 18, with which the detent ball 16 can engage. In the fixed position shown in Fig. 4a, b, d, the detent ball 16 is locked to the blind hole 18.
  • the first rotary member 11 can be rotated by 180 ° in a second fixed position in which the detent ball 16 is latched to the blind hole 17.
  • the second rotary part 15 carries a latching ball projecting beyond its front surface, which engages with two blind holes in the inner surface of the base 12 can, so that the second rotary member 15 may be locked to the first rotary member 11 in two fixed positions which are 180 ° apart. If the two rotary parts 11, 15 are in fixed positions, then the first rotary part 11 is thus locked directly to the frame 4, the second rotary part 15 indirectly via the first rotary part 11, with which it is locked directly.
  • the rotating parts 11, 15 completely fill the opening 9 (see Fig. 4a, b, d) and form on the outside of the jewelry element 2 has a smooth surface which has the shape of a cylinder jacket sector.
  • the fork-like enclosure of the second rotary member 15 through the first rotary member 11 is advantageous both in terms of aesthetic design options as well as the simplicity and mechanical stability, also the jewelry element is easily convertible thanks to this structure.
  • the jewelry elements 2 connected in pairs and a chain or a chain section can be assembled from them, each has the first side bar 6 on the outside of a cylindrical central receptacle 19 with a continuous longitudinal bore, while the second side bar 7 two more than just the length of Central receiving 19 spaced, otherwise correspondingly formed lateral receptacles 20, 21 has.
  • the central receptacle of a further decorative element 2 can be pushed (FIG. 1), and the connection between the decorative elements can be fixed by a pin-shaped connecting shaft 22, which is pushed into the aligned bores.
  • the connection allows limited mutual rotation of the connected jewelry elements about the connection axis 22, which is parallel to the axes of rotation 10 of the adjacent decorative elements 2.
  • the latching devices can each be arranged on the opposite front surfaces, so that e.g. the second rotary element can also be locked directly to the frame or at both.
  • the rotating elements may also be designed differently than described.
  • the shape of the ornamental element may differ, e.g. It can be circular with appropriately trained rotary elements. It can also be provided more than two rotary elements.
  • the decorative element can also be provided to be worn individually, wherein one will do without the receptacles 19, 20, 21. It can then be e.g.
  • Chains formed from jewelery elements according to the invention are also suitable as watch straps and as collars or collars.
  • the surface sections of the rotary elements which can be rotated on the outside, form differently, for example, occupy or engrave or coat in different patterns with gems, so that the appearance of the decorative element can be modified by rotation of the same. It can also be designed so that the outside can be made simpler or richer, for example, depending on the occasion. Particularly attractive possibilities are provided by chains of decorative elements, where the appearance of the individual Jewelry elements can be varied independently, creating a variety of combination options is opened.
