Abstract

Claims (4)

  1. Compartiment d'empilage d'envois plats en position debout, comprenant un fond ( 31 ) d'empilage, une paroi d'empilage qui lui est perpendiculaire et sur laquelle les envois ( 2 ) s'appliquent dans le compartiment ( 23) d'empilage, un point d'entrée d'empilage où les envois ( 2) sont conduits dans le compartiment ( 23 ) d'empilage et un appui ( 32 ) d'empilage, qui peut coulisser dans une direction d'empilage à peu près horizontale le long de la paroi d'empilage qui maintient la pile d'envois et qui peut être déplacé en s'éloignant d'une manière correspondante du point d'entrée d'empilage avec une épaisseur de pile croissante en dehors du temps pendant lequel on vide le compartiment, le compartiment ( 23 ) d'empilage étant ouvert à l'extrémité à l'opposé du point d'entrée d'empilage, dans lequel en amont dans le sens d'entrée d'empilage du point d'entrée d'empilage est disposé, pour vider le compartiment d'empilage, une unité ( 34 ) de poussée entraînée et pouvant coulisser également dans la direction d'empilage, et dans lequel, à l'extérieur du compartiment ( 23 ) d'empilage, est prévu, à son extrémité ouverte dans la direction d'empilage en dessous du fond ( 31 ) d'empilage, un dispositif ( 24, 36 ) de réception capturant une pile d'envois sortie du compartiment ( 23 ) d'empilage, caractérisé en ce que, pour vider le compartiment, l'entraînement ( 35 ) de l'unité ( 34 ) de poussée peut être commandé de façon à ce que l'unité ( 34 ) de poussée se déplace sur la pile étroite et déplace la pile rapidement au-delà du fond ( 31 ) d'empilage et un entraînement ( 33 ) de l'appui ( 32 ) d'empilage peut être commandé de manière à ce que l'appui ( 32 ) d'empilage et l'unité ( 34 ) de poussée soient déplacés simultanément au cours de l'opération dans laquelle on vide le compartiment, l'appui ( 32 ) d'empilage parcourant un chemin plus grand que l'unité ( 34 ) de poussée et mettant fin ainsi au serrage de la pile, de sorte que la pile tombe sous l'effet de la force de gravité dans le dispositif ( 24, 36 ) de réception.
  2. Compartiment d'empilage suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que dans le compartiment ( 23 ) d'empilage se trouve un capteur de niveau qui, lorsqu'une épaisseur fixée de pile est atteinte, produit un signal pour vider le compartiment qui est transmis aux commandes ( 33, 35 ) d'entraînement de l'unité ( 34) de poussée et de l'appui ( 32 ) de pile.
  3. Compartiment d'empilage suivant la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que l'entraînement ( 35 ) de l'unité ( 34 ) de poussée peut être commandé de manière à ce que, à l'extrémité ouverte du compartiment ( 23 ) d'empilage, il s'applique à l'unité ( 34 ) de poussée et ainsi à la pile d'envois une accélération qui, en raison de l'inertie de masse des envois ( 2 ) et du frottement des envois ( 2 ) pendant la poussée de la pile d'envois au-delà de l'extrémité du fond ( 31 ) d'empilage et pendant sa chute sur le dispositif ( 24, 36 ) de réception, n'autorise pas une modification sensible de formation à l'intérieur de la pile d'envois.
  4. Compartiment d'empilage suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que, pour plusieurs compartiments ( 23 ) d'empilage se trouvant les uns à côté des autres, il est prévu, comme dispositif ( 24, 36 ) de réception, une bande ( 24 ) convoyeuse segmentée, inclinée sur la verticale pour le transport de la pile d'envois à une unité de livraison, à la démarcation latérale inférieure de laquelle est disposée une voie ( 36 ) de transport étroite, inclinée d'un angle d'à peu près 90°, sur laquelle les envois ( 2 ) s'appuient par leur côté étroit, la bande ( 24 ) convoyeuse segmentée se trouvant au repos jusqu'à ce que tous les compartiments ( 23 ) d'empilage soient vidés et un segment étant associé à chaque compartiment ( 23 ) d'empilage et la bande ( 24 ) convoyeuse segmentée se mettant en mouvement après que tous les compartiments ( 23 ) d'empilage ont été vidés.
