Both support frames are then moved towards each other until the lower pair of welding jaws are mutually engaging, as shown in steps b and c. In step c the band portions are adhered to each other and separated.
- the band of the strap type B1 is then sealed round the one or more packets and also separated from the band parts coming from supply rolls 3 with their ends fixed to each other, so that the support frames can move back away from each other (step(d)) and a subsequent band can be sought.
- Figure 5 shows the different steps of the movement of support frames 11 when a band of the film type is taken up. Both support frames 11 are moved toward each other until the lower pair of guiding and welding jaws are mutually engaging, as shown in steps b and c, whereupon the upper pair of guiding jaws 8 are moved toward each other, as shown in step d. The band portions are then adhered to each other and separated. The band of film type B2 is then closed round the one or more packets and also separated from the band parts coming from motorized supply rolls 4 with their ends fixed to each other, so that support frames 11 can be moved back away from each other (steps (d)) and a subsequent band can be sought, or the strapped packets can be transported further when all bands B1, B2 have been arranged.
- the invention is not limited to the above described embodiment; it is thus also possible for instance to provide the device with three groups of band clamping and guiding means, with which three different band types can be arranged.

Claims (5)
- Vorrichtung zum Anordnen mindestens zweier Bänder (B1, B2) um ein oder mehrere Pakete (P), die im Wesentlichen aus einem Rahmen (1), einem durch den Rahmen gestützten liegenden Förderband (2) zum Vorwärtsbewegen von Paketen, Bandklemm- und -führungsmitteln, die sich quer zum Förderband voneinander weg und aufeinander zu bewegen und die mit zugeordneten Vorratshaspeln für die mindestens zwei Bänder verbunden sind und Schweißmitteln zum Verschweißen der Bänder, die zueinander bewegt worden sind, besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die mindestens zwei Bandarten ein Band (B1) der Umreifungsbandart und ein Band (B2) der Folienart umfassen und dass eine erste Gruppe von Bandklemm- und -führungsmitteln ein erstes Paar Schweiß- und Klemmbacken (7) aufweist, wobei die erste Gruppe für das Band der Umreifungsbandart angeordnet ist, und eine zweite Gruppe ein zweites Paar Schweiß- und Klemmbacken (8) aufweist, wobei die zweite Gruppe für das Band der Folienart angeordnet ist, wobei die Gruppen übereinander angeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Backe des ersten Paars von Backen (7) eine Klemmfläche aufweist, die sich quer zur Bewegungsrichtung erstreckt und die mit einer Gegenfläche eines von einer der Backen getragenen Zwischenkörpers zusammenwirkt, wobei mindestens eine der Flächen mit zahnartigen Vorsprüngen versehen ist, die in einer der Zugrichtung entgegengesetzten Richtung liegen.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Backe des zweiten Paars Backen (8) eine Führungsfläche aufweist, die sich quer zur Bewegungsrichtung erstreckt und die in jedem Fall mit einer motorgetriebenen Vorratsrolle (4) zusammenwirkt.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine der Bandarten (B2) mit einem Etikett versehen ist.
- Verfahren zum Anordnen mindestens zweier Bänder (B1, B2) übereinander um ein oder mehrere Pakete herum, wobei jedes Band, das dadurch gebildet wird, dass zwei jeweils von einer Vorratsrolle (3, 4) abgewickelte Bänder an ihren äußeren Enden aneinander befestigt werden, in einer U-Form um das oder jedes Paket herum geführt wird, woraufhin jedes Paar von Bandteilen, die sich um das oder jedes Paket in der U-Form herum erstrecken, entlang dem Objekt zueinander gepresst werden, aneinander geklebt und durchtrennt werden, so dass sich wieder ein Band zwischen jedem Paar Vorratsrollen erstreckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens ein Band (B1) der Umreifungsbandart und ein Band (B2) der Folienart gemäß der Höhe des einen oder der mehreren Pakete gewählt wird und dass für jedes Band (B1, B2) jeder der beiden zueinander gepressten Bandteile festgeklemmt, aufeinander zubewegt, verschweißt und getrennt wird, wobei jedes Band (B1, B2) der übereinander angeordneten Bänder gleichzeitig und in einer Bewegung festgeklemmt, verschweißt und getrennt wird.
