Definitions

  • the invention relates to a vehicle with protection against the action of a landmine, in particular an armored wheeled vehicle, for the protection of persons as well as the vehicle body in armored vehicles in total against the effect of the explosion of mines, which are laid on or in the ground.
  • the vehicle floor is equipped with a wedge-shaped deflector formed to the bottom, wherein the deflector can also be equipped with a gas generator for support from the inside and counteraction to the explosion.
  • a space cell is suspended separately as a crew room in the vehicle housing elastically, so as to eliminate shock effects that act on the vehicle from the outside, with respect to the persons in the vehicle.
  • elastic bearing bearings are used with point contact, with line contact and / or surface contact.
  • deformation bodies are attached to the vehicle floor to reduce the pressure effect of mines on the vehicle.
  • a basic housing is designed as a central supporting unit and takes on the engine, has spaces as a payload and serves as a passenger compartment.
  • a subframe is mounted below the basic housing, which receives a between the engine with gearbox and the wheels arranged intermediate gear.
  • the US 4,031,807A discloses an off-road vehicle that consists of a middle chassis, at both ends of which are each a transversely and longitudinally directed to the direction of travel axis pivoting chassis are arranged. Between this chassis and the chassis control means are provided for controlling the inclination of the chassis relative to the chassis about the axis directed transversely to the direction of travel. In each case a group drive is integrated in the front and in the rear chassis.
  • a combat vehicle in which a division of the vehicle body is made for firing reasons in several sub-areas, also applies to DE 32 06 794 A1 ,
  • the crew should be given the opportunity to separate in case of danger with the surrounding armor of the remaining part of the combat vehicle.
  • the drive, fuel, armament and ammunition are housed in a front part of the vehicle body, which has two protruding from the cavity projections, which carry a separate from the vehicle body, the crew compartment forming capsule.
  • a detachment of the capsule from the vehicle body is provided by an explosive device in the cavity extensions, wherein the vehicle body is removed by means of the drives remaining on the vehicle body of the separate capsule.
  • a mine protection device in particular for wheeled vehicles, in which a detection signal from an ignition and evaluation unit is detected from a detected shockwave / structure-borne sound wave or blast wave, which is connected to a pyrotechnic separating element and to a separation of the wheel assembly and the wheel of the vehicle structure leads.
  • the pyrotechnic separation of the support structure can be done by a cutting charge or by suitable embodiments of the separation point by means of pyrotechnic separating screws.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a generic protection system that ensures an improvement in the protective effect with a simple and robust design for the crew of an armored vehicle. In doing so, the highest possible mine protection, primarily against blast mines, should be achieved by combining all protection options in a vehicle concept.
  • the vehicle is divided into a plurality of building blocks, for example three, which are detachably connected to one another.
  • This vehicle consists of a middle module, the so-called main module, and a front and rear module together.
  • Rear and front part are flanged to the middle module or releasably secured by means of explosive bolts.
  • the explosive bolts are ignited by means of a built-in charge and can be blasted off.
  • the connection of the blocks with predetermined breaking points having bolts is also possible.
  • the wheel axles are placed so that they are not under the crew compartment.
  • the actual crew compartment is mounted as a cabin or protective cell in the vehicle housing, the main building block, and vibrationally decoupled.
  • the support structure is held plastically deformable and the V-shaped subfloor is constructed without openings such as doors. So there is an elastic suspension in the roof area of the main block, which consists of plastically deformable, energy-absorbing, thin-walled hollow sections.
  • the front module contains the steering system and a drive motor in addition to the front axle.
  • the tail module may also include a drive motor in addition to the rear axle. This has the advantage that a front engine and a rear engine can be operated simultaneously, so that a redundant drive created and a residual mobility can be ensured.
  • a space arising within the main module between the V-shaped bottom of the support structure and the flattened (down) cabin may receive the drive shaft and / or cables.
  • the advantages of the inventive design of the vehicle are mainly in the high mine protection for the crew. This is achieved by the V-shaped Floor, the clearance above the wheels (for example, higher mounted wheel arches, missing wheel arches), the plastically deformable hollow profiles for the support structure, the double-walled tub housing made of thin sheet steel, a security cell for the crew made of thick-walled light metal and the coupling of the safety cell in the roof area of the support structure, individually, in parts or in total.
  • the building blocks are designed in such a way that mine blasting has the least possible harmful effects.
  • Vehicle 4 shown from the side has a front module 1, here also referred to as a motor module, with a wheel axle 1a and a wheel 1b, a main module 2, also referred to here as a crew compartment module, and a rear module 3 with a wheel axle 3a and a wheel 3b.
  • the wheel axles 1 a, 3 a are not arranged here as usual under the crew compartment module 2.
  • a free space is maintained vertically upwards.
  • Engine and Heckbaustein 1, 3 are flanged to the team room block 2 or releasably connected by means of sketchy indicated bolt / explosive bolt 4a with this.
  • the front module 1 has a drive motor 1c in addition to a steering, not shown. Also in the tail module 3, a drive motor 3 can be provided.
  • FIG. 2 is the team space module 2 in cross-section with a chamfered bottom 6, which is executed double-walled 5, and a hollow section 7.
  • the team room module 2 consists of an outer 2.1 and an inner area 2.2.
  • the outer region 2.1 is formed as a trough 2.a and down V-shaped.
  • the inner area 2.2, the actual crew compartment, is completely enclosed by a cabin or safety cell 9, 11 and is suspended in the outer part, the housing part 10, and fastened to the upper edge of the outer area 2.1.
  • FIG. 3 the principle of the suspended cabin 9 is shown, which is mounted as a safety cell 9 by means of elastic suspensions 8 in the housing part 10.
  • the housing part 10 has a plastically deformable support structure.
  • the material of this cabin 9 is preferably aluminum to catch secondary splinters.
  • FIG. 4 is a bottom pointed security cell 11 and main module 2 shown in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
  • a vehicle door 16 in an open position 12 and a closed position 14 is shown.
  • the door 16 is pivoted about a pivot bearing 15 with the direction of movement 13.
  • the pivot bearing 15 and the hinges of the door 16 is attached to the bottom of the main block 2, preferably in front of the bevel.
  • FIG. 5 an example vehicle 4 according to the invention with the blocks front module 1, main module 2 and rear module 3 is shown.
  • a mine not shown first meets the wheel 1b and 3b, which can be solved and fly away upwards (clearance above wheels). Then the whole front module 1 can be torn off or even blown off by means of the explosive bolts, not shown. In this case, the entire axis 1a and the drive of vehicle 4 is separated without hitting the bottom of the main block 2, since the blocks 1, 2, 3 have vertical parting lines.
  • the residual pulse which then flows into the middle main module 2 is converted by the double-walled construction in the lower area in deformation energy. Thereafter, the impulse hits thin-walled carriers in the upper area, which collapse. The then remaining residual pulse hits the elastic bearings or suspension 8 on the roof of the cabin 9, 11. There, the impulse is so long and flat that mechanical springs or similar. can be used. The residual impulse that flows through these springs in the roof of the cabin 9, 11, is sufficiently muffled to no longer hurt the crew.
  • V-shape of the supporting structure the thick walls of the cabin, the possible redundancy of the drive components.
  • front and / or rear building block 1, 3 may have beveled floors that correspond to the bottom 6 of the main block 2.
