Definitions
- the present invention is based on a hand grinder according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Hand tools with electric or compressed air drive are known for grinding workpieces.
- the torque of the air pressure or electric motors is transferred to the sanding plate or sanding plate and enables appropriate chip removal.
- the resulting chips or grinding dust are either blown into a dust container coupled with the hand-held power tool by a suction fan that rotates together with the motor, or removed by a suitable vacuum cleaner by means of external suction. They are for the
- Vacuum cleaners used in most cases oversized for the extraction of grinding dust alone Around 1400 watts of power consumption of the vacuum cleaner contrast with about 300 watts of power consumption of the hand grinder. This means that the performance of the vacuum cleaner is not being used sufficiently.
- Vacuum cleaner accessories which contain rotating brushes actuated by the exhaust air flow via a drive fan and which are intended in particular for the processing of textile floor coverings. Such brushes are relatively poor in performance and cannot be used as hand sanding tools.
- the present invention with the features of claim 1 has the advantage that a small, light and inexpensive hand-held machine tool has been created which can be operated as intended solely by connecting a vacuum cleaner suction hose to an intended coupling and in which grinding dust which occurs at the same time can be extracted with high efficiency , This eliminates the need to provide an electric motor and a power supply for the hand machine tool. In addition, the otherwise usual loud noise from electric hand machine tools is eliminated - due to the usual use of high-speed electric motors.
- a rotatably mounted turbo fan wheel is arranged in the interior of the housing, through which the suction air flow can flow and can be coupled to the grinding plate, creates a simple, light, low-noise and inexpensive hand-held grinding machine with dust extraction.
- a gear in particular a planetary gear, is arranged between the turbo fan wheel and the grinding plate, a relatively high speed of the turbo fan wheel can be easily converted into a lower speed, which is usual for grinding machines.
- non-closable openings are provided in the housing of the hand-held grinder for the inlet of inflowing air means that the vacuum cleaner cannot be throttled or overloaded during grinding.
- turbo fan is guided with a vertical axis via a gear and from there to the sanding plate, a simple and space-saving, flat design of the hand-held grinding machine is possible.
- FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section of a hand grinding machine according to the invention
- FIG. 2 shows a turbo fan wheel with a central planetary gear
- Figure 3 shows a longitudinal section of an eccentric grinder according to the invention.
- FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section of a hand-held grinder 10 according to the invention with a rotating grinding plate 26.
- the hand-held grinder 10 consists of a housing 12, the curved upper area of which serves as a handle that can be comfortably gripped over with one hand.
- the housing 12 carries an inner housing 14 which serves as a fan housing for a turbo fan impeller 16 which is mounted in the inner housing 14 so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis 18.
- the turbo fan wheel 16 is provided with fan blades 17 arranged radially on the outside and a central stub shaft 19, which is coupled in a torque-transmitting manner to a planetary gear 20, which is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner centrally or concentrically to the stub shaft 19 in a gear housing 21, the gear housing 21 being a part of the inner housing 14 is.
- the fan blades 17 extend radially inward at a small distance from the outer edge of the gear housing 21 and thus form a cavity
- An output shaft 22 emerges from the bottom of the planetary gear 20 and is encompassed by a shaft bearing 24, which is mounted centrally in the inner housing 14.
- the output shaft 22 is rotatably connected to a circular grinding plate 26 and together with this rotatable.
- the grinding plate 26 carries axially continuous air holes 28 through which outside air is sucked into the housing 12, which entrains grinding dust and chips.
- outside air enters the interior of the housing 12 through air gaps 30 - in accordance with the directional arrows 32. The cross section of these gaps 30 cannot be changed, so that a minimum throughput of air drawn in from the outside is always ensured.
- Parking brake - not shown - provided, with which the turbo fan wheel 16 can be locked, so that the work function of the hand grinder 10 can be interrupted mechanically and this can be used as a vacuum cleaner head when the turbo fan wheel is locked.
- FIG. 2 shows the detail of a fan wheel 16 with fan blades 17 arranged radially evenly distributed between two axial disks 25.
- the output shaft 22 and part of the planetary gear 20 protrude from the lower axial disk 25 from a central recess.
- FIG. 3 shows a hand-held grinding machine designed as an eccentric grinder 100
- FIG. 1 The structure is essentially the same as that according to FIG. 1, with corresponding parts being provided with reference numerals changed by a factor of 10 in each case. The details which correspond in this respect are not listed again, but only the differences from FIG. 1:
- the eccentric grinder 100 is provided with a shortened output shaft 220, which carries at its free end a disc-like compensating mass 360, which in turn carries an eccentric pin 340 parallel to the output shaft 220, which is rotatably arranged in the grinding plate bearing 270.
- the output shaft 220 therefore forms a crankshaft together with the balancing mass 360 and the eccentric pin 340.
- the grinding plate 260 experiences a rotating movement when the output shaft 220 rotates, which is superimposed by a rotating movement due to the bearing friction in the grinding plate bearing 270.
- a brake ring 380 is provided, which extends axially from the inner housing 140 and arranged on the latter in a rotationally fixed manner to the grinding plate 240 and is supported on the end face with a small pretensioning force. If the sanding plate 260 is set in rotation, a constant frictional force acts from the brake ring 380, which can be made of felt, for example, on the surface of the sanding plate 260, whereby the self-rotation of the sanding plate 260 can be limited to a permissible maximum speed.
- the air holes 280 penetrate the sanding plate 260 radially so far outside of its center that they always remain positioned outside the brake ring 380, so that no sanding dust gets into the sanding plate bearings 270 or the area of the eccentric pin 340 and therefore cannot cause damage there.
Abstract
