Definitions

  • the invention relates to a reservation box for roller shutter, intended to accommodate, at least partially, a shutter for the equipment of a bay, such as door, window or French window of a room, the reservation box according to the invention being also intended to be integrated into the lintel of this bay, for the installation of the roller shutter in new construction, or after the latter.
  • the invention also relates to a bay-block assembly with rolling shutter, intended to equip a bay, of the type presented above and delimited by an opening in a masonry wall of a room, the bay-block assembly comprising a dormant frame , intended to receive at least one opening frame, and surmounted by a roller shutter box housing a winding-unwinding mechanism of a rolling shutter apron to be unwound outside said frame and opening frame, l block bay assembly with roller shutter according to the invention being such that at least a portion of the shutter can be housed in a reservation box as defined above.
  • roller shutters are currently installed in three different ways.
  • the first type of installation consists of a traditional rolling shutter with a "carpentry" box, manufactured on placed by a carpenter: the carpentry, constituting the frame and at least one opening frame received in the latter, is placed in splay, against the inner face of the wall in which the bay is equipped to equip, and this joinery includes taped on each side, connecting side guide rails of the rolling shutter apron to the amounts of the frame, so as to create a space in the upper part to let the apron of the roller shutter.
  • the carpenter realizes on the spot a box above the carpentry (sleeping and typed, and opening) with a trapdoor of the side turned towards the interior of the local.
  • an integrated tunnel box is used instead of the lintel at the time of construction of the building.
  • This box shaped "U returned", created a reservation to wrap at least the apron of the roller shutter, and is embedded in the wall, remaining invisible in front and inside the room. Only a hatch remains visible on the lower side of the outside of the room, to allow assembly and interventions of the after-sales service.
  • the disadvantages presented by this solution are a disruption of the habits of the mason, because if such a box is self-supporting, however, it is non-bearing and requires to make inverted lintels above the large windows, to maintain the required strength to the slab superior and the building.
  • such a box requires good laying accuracy because it is a carrier of the rolling-unwinding shaft of the shutter apron, and positions this apron relative to the opening frame.
  • its structural material does not have the same coefficient of expansion as masonry, it is often the cause of micro-cracks on the external plaster.
  • the third solution is to use a bay-block that is to say a roller shutter integrated to the entire frame and the opening or equipping the bay, and this bay block is placed in one block on site .
  • the unmounted casing of the roller shutter is mounted on the upper cross member of the fixed frame and can be placed against the inner face of the lintel, the frame can then be mounted in splaying or naked interior with taps receiving or arranged behind the scenes, or the unmoulded box is mounted under a slab, in which case the frame can be placed between tables in the embrasure of the bay with winding of the deck inward, or placed in the interior finish with winding of the deck to the outside.
  • the bay block with roller shutter allows a large industrialization in the workshop, and does not require significantly more time to put on site than a door, French window or window alone.
  • a bay block with roller shutter has an aesthetic often considered questionable, because the box appears protruding into the room, as well as low acoustic and thermal performance.
  • a block-bay assembly with roller shutter is described in particular in FR 2 788 555 , in which the roll shutter apron, wound and unwound by a mechanism housed in a box surmounting a fixed frame, is laterally guided in directly attached slides or via taps on the amounts of the fixed frame, the box being delimited by outer walls (facing outward of the local), upper, inner and lower, which extends on the upper cross of the fixed frame, so that the inner wall of this box is substantially in line with the plane of the inner side of the frame or the opening frame, and that the lower wall of the box is subdivided into two sections delimiting between them the slot for the passage of the deck, one of the sections defining, at the lower end of the outer wall, a return towards the frame, while the Another lower wall section extends at least above the upper cross member of the frame to join, at one of its longitudinal edges, the inner wall of the box which it is secured. It is understood that such a structure of the box actually has the disadvantages mentioned above as being attached to this type of embodiment
  • box-bays roller shutter box made of synthetic material, for example PVC, substantially of the same structure as in the aforementioned French patent, and whose part located outside the slot passage of the apron is engaged inside a metal formwork with reinforcement, incorporated in the lintel masonry, because if such an embodiment improves the thermal and acoustic performance compared to other known embodiments of this type, on the other hand, it makes the realization lintel more complex, since a reservation must be made in the latter, which requires a precise positioning of the metal formwork cross-section shaped angle, and its welded frame.
  • synthetic material for example PVC
  • the C-shaped cross-section box which is made of metal, for example made of galvanized sheet metal, makes it possible, with its incorporated reinforcement, to produce a thin lintel returning inwardly beneath the lower part of the box.
  • reservation which substantially constitutes an outer half-box housing a portion of the shutter, and substantially completed by an inner half-box defined by an inner wall and a lower wall which are fixed to one another and reported under the slab in order to substantially close the shutter box by the arrangement of the inner half-box facing the C section reservation box.
  • the invention proposes a reservation box for roller shutter, intended to accommodate, at least partially, a roller shutter, preferably associated with a bay-block intended to equip a bay, such as door, window or door window of a room, the reservation box being also intended to be integrated into the lintel of said bay, and which is characterized in that it comprises an inner wall, intended to be turned towards the interior of the substantially flat room and able to at least partially open to form an entrance face of the reservation box, said inner wall substantially flush with the internal face of the lintel when the reservation box is in position in the latter, the reservation box also comprising a substantially flat bottom wall , connected along its inner edge to the lower edge of the inner wall, and substantially flush with the underside of the lintel, and a wall external, which is at least partly curved concavity facing the inner wall, so as to substantially envelop the cylindrical shape of the roller shutter rolled apron.

The invention relates to a reservation box for roller shutter, intended to accommodate, at least partially, a shutter for the equipment of a bay, such as door, window or French window of a room, the reservation box according to the invention being also intended to be integrated into the lintel of this bay, for the installation of the roller shutter in new construction, or after the latter.

The invention also relates to a bay-block assembly with rolling shutter, intended to equip a bay, of the type presented above and delimited by an opening in a masonry wall of a room, the bay-block assembly comprising a dormant frame , intended to receive at least one opening frame, and surmounted by a roller shutter box housing a winding-unwinding mechanism of a rolling shutter apron to be unwound outside said frame and opening frame, l block bay assembly with roller shutter according to the invention being such that at least a portion of the shutter can be housed in a reservation box as defined above.

In new construction, roller shutters are currently installed in three different ways.

The first type of installation consists of a traditional rolling shutter with a "carpentry" box, manufactured on placed by a carpenter: the carpentry, constituting the frame and at least one opening frame received in the latter, is placed in splay, against the inner face of the wall in which the bay is equipped to equip, and this joinery includes taped on each side, connecting side guide rails of the rolling shutter apron to the amounts of the frame, so as to create a space in the upper part to let the apron of the roller shutter. The carpenter realizes on the spot a box above the carpentry (sleeping and typed, and opening) with a trapdoor of the side turned towards the interior of the local. This solution, which is simple, remains expensive, because it requires the intervention of a professional on the site. In addition, the box placed against the inner face of the masonry, and more particularly the lintel above the bay to be equipped, is for the most part projecting inside the premises, and therefore harms the interior aesthetics of the last.

In a second type of installation, an integrated tunnel box is used instead of the lintel at the time of construction of the building. This box, shaped "U returned", created a reservation to wrap at least the apron of the roller shutter, and is embedded in the wall, remaining invisible in front and inside the room. Only a hatch remains visible on the lower side of the outside of the room, to allow assembly and interventions of the after-sales service. The disadvantages presented by this solution are a disruption of the habits of the mason, because if such a box is self-supporting, however, it is non-bearing and requires to make inverted lintels above the large windows, to maintain the required strength to the slab superior and the building. In addition, such a box requires good laying accuracy because it is a carrier of the rolling-unwinding shaft of the shutter apron, and positions this apron relative to the opening frame. In addition, its structural material does not have the same coefficient of expansion as masonry, it is often the cause of micro-cracks on the external plaster.

The third solution is to use a bay-block that is to say a roller shutter integrated to the entire frame and the opening or equipping the bay, and this bay block is placed in one block on site . The unmounted casing of the roller shutter is mounted on the upper cross member of the fixed frame and can be placed against the inner face of the lintel, the frame can then be mounted in splaying or naked interior with taps receiving or arranged behind the scenes, or the unmoulded box is mounted under a slab, in which case the frame can be placed between tables in the embrasure of the bay with winding of the deck inward, or placed in the interior finish with winding of the deck to the outside. The advantages of this solution are that the bay block with roller shutter allows a large industrialization in the workshop, and does not require significantly more time to put on site than a door, French window or window alone. On the other hand, such a bay block with roller shutter has an aesthetic often considered questionable, because the box appears protruding into the room, as well as low acoustic and thermal performance.

A block-bay assembly with roller shutter is described in particular in FR 2 788 555 , in which the roll shutter apron, wound and unwound by a mechanism housed in a box surmounting a fixed frame, is laterally guided in directly attached slides or via taps on the amounts of the fixed frame, the box being delimited by outer walls (facing outward of the local), upper, inner and lower, which extends on the upper cross of the fixed frame, so that the inner wall of this box is substantially in line with the plane of the inner side of the frame or the opening frame, and that the lower wall of the box is subdivided into two sections delimiting between them the slot for the passage of the deck, one of the sections defining, at the lower end of the outer wall, a return towards the frame, while the Another lower wall section extends at least above the upper cross member of the frame to join, at one of its longitudinal edges, the inner wall of the box which it is secured. It is understood that such a structure of the box actually has the disadvantages mentioned above as being attached to this type of embodiment.

It is the same for the box-bays roller shutter box made of synthetic material, for example PVC, substantially of the same structure as in the aforementioned French patent, and whose part located outside the slot passage of the apron is engaged inside a metal formwork with reinforcement, incorporated in the lintel masonry, because if such an embodiment improves the thermal and acoustic performance compared to other known embodiments of this type, on the other hand, it makes the realization lintel more complex, since a reservation must be made in the latter, which requires a precise positioning of the metal formwork cross-section shaped angle, and its welded frame.

It has also already been proposed to make, in the lintel, a reservation for the rolling shutter, using a C-shaped cross-section box with a concavity turned towards the interior of the room, and with vertical edges upper and lower. below its ends flush with the internal face of the lintel, and secured to a metal frame of the latter, the convex side of the trunk. Such a reservation box has been proposed to house the majority of a roller shutter box whose interior is accessible by a trapdoor, fitted as a transom in the inner wall, in a framework of the frame and which passes around ( above) of the roller shutter. In other embodiments, the C-shaped cross-section box, which is made of metal, for example made of galvanized sheet metal, makes it possible, with its incorporated reinforcement, to produce a thin lintel returning inwardly beneath the lower part of the box. reservation, which substantially constitutes an outer half-box housing a portion of the shutter, and substantially completed by an inner half-box defined by an inner wall and a lower wall which are fixed to one another and reported under the slab in order to substantially close the shutter box by the arrangement of the inner half-box facing the C section reservation box.

But the latter achievements have the disadvantage, like the first mentioned above, to require the intervention of a carpenter on site, especially for the connection of components of the roller shutter box, on the one hand, against the inner face lintel or under the slab, and / or on the other hand, on the dormant frame.

By the present invention, it is proposed to overcome the disadvantages of the embodiments presented above, while preserving, or even grouping, at least some of their advantages, particularly those related to the use of a reservation box for be integral to the header, and / or those associated with the use of a factory-installed, factory-installed, roller shutter assembly installed in a single piece on a construction site. housing part of the roller shutter in a reservation box.

For this purpose, the invention proposes a reservation box for roller shutter, intended to accommodate, at least partially, a roller shutter, preferably associated with a bay-block intended to equip a bay, such as door, window or door window of a room, the reservation box being also intended to be integrated into the lintel of said bay, and which is characterized in that it comprises an inner wall, intended to be turned towards the interior of the substantially flat room and able to at least partially open to form an entrance face of the reservation box, said inner wall substantially flush with the internal face of the lintel when the reservation box is in position in the latter, the reservation box also comprising a substantially flat bottom wall , connected along its inner edge to the lower edge of the inner wall, and substantially flush with the underside of the lintel, and a wall external, which is at least partly curved concavity facing the inner wall, so as to substantially envelop the cylindrical shape of the roller shutter rolled apron.

Thus, the reservation of the shutter is carried out partly in the main work of the masonry. At the time of construction, the task of the mason is facilitated, because he just has to file a shutter reservation in the bottom of the lintels formwork above the openings of bays to equip shutters. The reservation provided by a chest according to the invention and as presented above, form a lost formwork, which reconstitutes a conventional lintel above an opening, if, at the time of installation of the frame and the one or more opening frames, it is envisaged not to rolling shutter. The reservation box according to the invention, which remains closed, allows the installation of a conventional window, door or French window.

In a first embodiment, the inner wall of the reservation box is constituted by a thin web adapted to be cut with a cutting tool, in order to open the internal face of said reservation box, when placing a shutter, for example integrated into a bay unit with frame and frame opening, to pose in one piece.

But, preferably, the inner wall of the box is connected to the bottom wall by a hinge and pivoting, so that at least a portion of the inner wall is foldable against the upper face of a frame equipping the bay. In this case, the folding portion of the inner wall of the reservation box is a flap, substantially flat, width adaptable to the thickness of the frame and, possibly, typed related to said frame, if, for example, according to a mode advantageously simple embodiment, the inner wall has on at least one of its inner and outer faces, at least one frangible or breakable zone for adapting the width of said flap made from said inner wall, and formed of preferably by parallel notches formed from one lateral end to the other in said face of the inner wall of the reservation box.

Preferably, these parallel notches are formed in the inner face, towards the room, of the half of said inner wall of the box which is closest to the connecting hinge with the lower wall.

To facilitate the opening of the reservation box, in order to partially receive a shutter, while this box is closed during the formwork of the lintel, the upper edge of the inner wall of this box is advantageously connected, before the opening of the internal face of said reservation box, at the inner edge of the upper part of its curved outer wall, by a pre-cut area. For this purpose, the latter advantageously has at least one longitudinal notch formed in the inner face, towards the interior of the room, of said inner wall from one side edge to the other of the latter.

As in some known embodiments of reservation chest, it can be used to position and / or support the reinforcement of the concrete lintel, and for this purpose, the outer wall of the reservation box according to the invention advantageously supports, in protruding towards the outside of the box, support brackets of concrete rings of the frame of the lintel.

In the various embodiments of the reservation box according to the invention, the latter is advantageously constituted, at least partially, of a section of synthetic material. In particular, the box may consist of a portion of a self-supporting tubular profile, cut to length, having the inner, outer and lower walls, and closed by two plugs at its lateral ends. It is understood that such a reservation box can accommodate at least in part a conventional roller shutter, associated or not with a bay unit, and can in particular accommodate at least a portion of the rolling shutter rolled apron.

But, to advantageously cooperate with such a reservation box, the invention also proposes a bay-block assembly with roller shutter, of the type presented above, whose rolling shutter apron is laterally guided in slides directly reported or by intermediate typed on the amounts of the fixed frame surmounted by the rolling shutter box, this box being delimited by an outer face, an upper wall, an inner wall and a lower wall, adjacent to a slit passage of the deck and fixed to the upper cross member of the frame on which the bottom wall of the box extends, according to the state of the art according to the figure 2 of FR 2 788 555 , and which is characterized, according to the invention, in that the outer face of the box is at least partially open so that at least a portion of the cylindrical drum formed by the rolling shutter rolled apron protrudes outside the the outer face, whose plane extends substantially in the extension of the outer face of the frame, so that at least a portion of the shutter can be housed in a reservation box integrated in a lintel of the bay and arranged so that an inner face of said box forms an entrance face at least partially open towards the interior of the room.

Advantageously, and the block-bay unit with roller shutter also includes a reservation box, of the type presented above, intended to be integrated into the lintel of the bay to be equipped, and arranged so that the inner face of the box forms a input side open towards the interior of the room, this box being further intended to accommodate at least said portion of the rolled deck protruding outside the outer face of the shutter box, when the box is placed against the reservation box with its external face open next to the open entrance face of the reservation box, to the establishment of the bay block.

Thus, the reservation box completes the casing of the shutter to envelop the entire rolled deck and the associated members of the roller shutter, namely the winding-unwinding shaft, and the training device including the shutter rolling mill which can be manufactured and mounted at the factory, then fixed on the frame, still in the factory, to form a block-bay with shutter that arises, on site, like analogous sets of the state of the art, the only additional operation is to ensure prior opening of the inner face of the reservation box.

Advantageously, the casing of the roller shutter also comprises, at its lateral ends, support cheeks of a winding-unwinding shaft of the apron, the cheeks-supports being shaped to move the shaft towards the outside of the outer face. opening of the box relative to the attachment of the support cheeks to the bottom wall of the box.

In addition, the inner wall of the casing of the roller shutter is advantageously arranged in inspection hatch linked by removable fastening means, preferably by clipping, to the inner edges of the upper and lower walls of said casing, and constituting the only part of the casing. projecting inwards relative to the plane of the inner face of the fixed frame and / or the opening frame of the bay block.

To ensure good sealing and insulation, especially acoustic and thermal, at the connection of the shutter box and lintel, around the entrance of the reservation box, a seal is advantageously reported between the outer edge of the upper wall of the shutter box and the lintel, above the open entrance of the reservation box, and between the outer edge of the lateral end flanges or flanges of the shutter box and the lintel, on the sides of the open entrance of the booking box.

The latter is advantageously such that its substantially flat bottom wall, which is substantially flush with the underside of the lintel, is extended inwardly by a substantially flat flap constituted by at least a portion of the pivoting internal wall of the reservation box and folding against the upper face of the fixed frame.

The fact that the pivoting inner wall of the reservation box is a substantially flat wall connected, along its lower edge, by a hinge to the inner edge of the bottom wall of the trunk, and that it has, on at least one of its faces, at least one frangible or breakable zone for adapting the width of the flap made from this inner wall, and formed for example by parallel notches formed from one lateral end to the other in said face of the internal wall of the trunk, to delimit the slit passage of the shutter apron between, on the one hand, the lower wall of the roller shutter box, which is fixed on the upper cross member of the frame, and on the other hand , the flap coming from the pivoting internal wall of the reservation box, and whose adaptable width can be adapted to the thickness of an insulating lining applied against the internal face of the masonry, and therefore to the width of the frame. The dormant possibly completed by typed.

Similarly, the support cheeks of the winding-unwinding shaft of the deck are each preferably constituted by a support shaped to move the shaft outwardly of the open outer face of the box, and a cheek , whose width is adjustable depending on the thickness of the frame, and thus the insulating lining wall, doubling inwardly the masonry wall in which is formed the opening of the bay to equip.

On the figure 1 , there is shown a brick wall 1 at a bay, in this case a window, the opening 2 is framed between two uprights 3 before the construction of the lintel.

The window 2 is intended to be equipped with a bay-block assembly with roller shutter, in particular of the type described below.

To make a reservation in the lintel, to accommodate at least part of the roller shutter in new construction, or later, it is sufficient for the mason, at the time of construction of the lintel, to deposit a reservation box 4, in particular such as described below with reference to Figures 3 to 7 , in the shell of the masonry, and more precisely in the bottom of the formwork of the lintel above the window 2.

This box 4 consists of a tubular part 5 cut to length and closed at each of its two lateral ends by a plug 6 to prevent the mortar or concrete from entering the interior of the box 4, during the construction of the lintel.

The trunk 4 is for example made of a section of synthetic material, the tubular portion 5 has a self-supporting tubular profile, the length of which is such that this tubular portion 5 exceeds 5 to 10 cm approximately on each side of the opening 2 of the window and rests on the uprights 3 of the masonry by its ends closed by the plugs 6 also synthetic material. The installation of the chest 4 does not require any precision from the masons, which avoids any risk of malfunction. The reservation box 4 forms a lost formwork, which reconstitutes the classic lintel 7 (see figure 2 ) above the window opening 2, if, at the time of installation of the frame and opening (s) (also called carpentry) of this window, it is envisaged not to install a shutter, this formwork lost and closed allowing the installation of a conventional window.

As shown on Figures 2 to 7 , the reservation box 4, integrated in the masonry of the lintel 7, has its tubular profile 5 delimited by an outer wall 8 (tour towards the outside of the room), which is a wall, the majority of which is rounded, in the form of a portion of a cylinder concavity turned towards the interior of the room, so as to match the cylindrical shape of the rolled apron of the shutter, as described below. This outer wall 8 can support, projecting on its convex outer face, one or more hooks such as 9 positioning and / or support of reinforcing bars such as 10 of the metal frame of the lintel 7. The lower end of the rounded portion of the outer wall 8 is connected, by a small vertical portion 11, to the outer end of a lower wall 12 which is flat and is substantially flush with the lower horizontal face 13 of the lintel 7, to the inner edge 14 ( turned towards the interior of the room) of this lower wall 12 by which the latter is connected to the lower edge 15 of an inner wall 16 also flat and flush with the vertical inner face 17 of the lintel 7, when the trunk 4 occupies its integrated position in lintel 7, as shown on the Figures 2 to 4 . At its upper end 18, the inner wall 16 of the trunk 4 is initially bonded to the inner upper edge 19 of the outer wall 8. The rounded shape of this wall 8 gives inertia to this wall, which must support the weight of the concrete at the time of construction, the small thickness of the outer wall 8, lower 12, and internal 16 to maintain a minimum thickness of concrete banché while maintaining a sufficient space for the reinforcement 10 of the concrete lintel 7.

In the preferred embodiment of the trunk 4 of the Figures 4 to 7 , the inner wall 16 is initially bonded to the inner and upper edge 19 of the outer wall 8 by a pre-cut zone, defined by a notch or slot 20 formed longitudinally, from one side edge to the other of the inner wall 16 in the "inner" face turned towards the inside of this wall 16, at its upper edge 18, as shown in FIGS. Figures 4 and 5 .

Par ailleurs, la paroi interne 16 est également liée au bord interne 14 de la paroi inférieure 12 par une languette-charnière 21 (voir figures 4 et 6), qui relie le bord inférieur 15 de la paroi interne 16 au bord interne 14 de la paroi inférieure 12 d'une extrémité latérale à l'autre du coffre 4.Furthermore, the inner wall 16 is also connected to the inner edge 14 of the lower wall 12 by a hinge tongue 21 (see Figures 4 and 6 ), which connects the lower edge 15 of the inner wall 16 to the inner edge 14 of the lower wall 12 from one lateral end to the other of the trunk 4.

Finally, in the lower half of the inner wall 16 (on the figure 4 ), frangible or breakable zones of this wall 16 are formed in the latter by several (in this case 5) notches or notches 22 parallel extending in the "inner" face of this wall 16 and a lateral end to the other of the latter.

Thus, when the window 2 must be equipped with a bay-block with rolling shutter, the inner face of the trunk 4, initially closed by the inner wall 16, must be open in order to accommodate at least a portion of the shutter in the trunk 4, and for this purpose, using a cutting tool engaged in the groove, notch or notch 20, is cut the connection between the upper edge 18 of the inner wall 16 and the upper inner edge 19 of the outer wall 8, to separate these two walls 16 and 8 at this level, and the inner wall 16 is folded down by the hinge 21, which opens the internal face or entrance face of the box 4.

En fonction de l'épaisseur du cadre dormant et, optionnellement, de tapées qui le prolongent vers l'extérieur, donc en fonction de l'épaisseur d'une paroi isolante devant doubler intérieurement la paroi maçonnée 1, la paroi interne 16 est coupée ou cassée au niveau de l'une des zones sécables ou frangibles définies par les rainures, encoches ou entailles 22, de sorte que la largeur du rabat, ainsi défini entre la charnière 21 et la rainure 22 au niveau de laquelle la paroi interne 16 est coupée ou cassée, peut être adaptée à l'épaisseur de la paroi de doublage interne isolante précitée (non représentée).Depending on the thickness of the frame and, optionally, taps that extend outwardly, so depending on the thickness of an insulating wall to internally lining the masonry wall 1, the inner wall 16 is cut or broken at one of the breakable or frangible zones defined by the grooves, notches or notches 22, so that the width of the flap, thus defined between the hinge 21 and the groove 22 at which the wall internal 16 is cut or broken, can be adapted to the thickness of the aforementioned insulating inner lining wall (not shown).

Thus, depending on the thickness of the insulation, it is maintained, thanks to the flap thus defined, a certain height of the lower portion of the inner wall 16 of the trunk 4 to fill the space between the apron of the shutter, as described below, and the naked interior wall or wall 1, by rotating the flap 90 ° to bring it in a horizontal position towards the interior of the room.

In a variant, the inner wall such as 16 of the trunk 4 may be connected to the inner edges 14 and 19 of the lower 12 and outer 8 walls without pre-cut zone or hinge such as 21, but being an inner wall 16 of sufficiently reduced thickness. , at least along its periphery, to be easily cut with a sharp instrument, and thus clear the entrance opening of the chest 4.

When placing a bay-block assembly with roller shutter to equip the window 2, it is sufficient to open the reservation box 4, cutting with a cutting tool the web constituting the inner wall 16, or to cut the connection between the internal wall 16 and the outer wall 8, then cut or break the inner wall 16 at the groove 22 chosen to then fold the flap 23 by pivoting around the hinge 21, so as to accommodate at least partially the roll formed by the roller shutter rolled apron.

The shutter can be manufactured, assembled and fixed in the workshop on the frame including at least one opening frame of the window 2, thus achieving a block-bay assembly with shutter in the workshop.

This set can be realized as represented on the Figures 8 to 10 , with many conventional components of a shutter, on the one hand, and a frame with at least one opening frame, on the other.

On the figure 8 is schematically represented a window frame 24, conventionally consisting of two uprights 25 rigidly connected by a lower crossbar 26 and an upper crossbar 27, surmounted by a casing 28 of the shutter, comprising a lower wall 29 intended to be fixed to the upper cross member 27 of the fixed frame 24, an upper wall 30, an inner wall 31 constituting a inspection door removably attached to the lower walls 29 and upper 30, and two side flanges 32, in the form of flanges. angle against angle. This box 28, which is open on its outer face 33 (see figure 12 ), surrounds a winding-unwinding mechanism of a rolling shutter apron 34 around a winding-unwinding shaft 35, tubular in this example, in the lateral ends of which end ferrules 36 which can be equipped with brake mechanisms and / or blocking the unwinding or winding of the deck 34, these end pieces 36 supporting axles 37 received, at their free end in bearings 38 (only one of which is visible on the figure 9 ), and one of which passes through a mechanism 39 for controlling the winding and / or unwinding of the deck 34, this mechanism 39 being powered by an electric motor, or with a belt-driven pulley or, as shown in FIGS. Figures 8 and 10 , with operating winch controlled by a crank via a gimbal angle gear 40, as is well known. The bearings 38 are supported by supports 41 of the drive shaft 35, each of the two supports 41 being inclined so as to deport the bearings 38 and thus the shaft 35 slightly outside the open outer face 33, of box 28, relative to the connection of the supports 41 to the bottom wall 29 of this box 28 via brackets 42 screwed. The part of the deck 34 which is wrapped around the shaft 35 constitutes a cylindrical drum 43, while the unwound or unfolded part of the deck 34 is guided by its lateral edges in rails 44 fixed inside the frame uprights 25 24, so that the apron 34 is deployed at the front of the window, the entrance of the lateral edges of the apron 34 in the slides 44 being guided on each side by a funnel tulip 45 mounted on the upper end of the corresponding slideway 44.

The entire bay block with roller shutter is assembled and mounted as shown on the Figures 11 and 12 .

The upper wall 30 of the box 28 is fixed by its lateral ends to the upper ends of the cheeks 32, which are fixed by their counter-bent and lower end against the lateral ends of the bottom wall 29 extending and fixed on the upper rail. 27 of the fixed frame 24. The brackets 42 fix the feet of the supports 41 on the bottom wall 29, whereas the inclined upper parts of the supports 41 deport the shaft 35 outside the open outer face 33 of the box 28, so that more than half of the cylindrical volume of the drum 43 constituted by the apron 34 wound around the shaft 35 projects outwardly, and outside the open outer face 33. By construction, the plane of the open outer face 33 of the box 28 extends substantially in the extension of the outer face 46 of the frame 24, so that when the outer face 46 of the frame 24 is app liquefied against the inner face of the embrasure of the window 2, by pivoting as indicated by the arrow on the figure 11 , after support of the lower cross member 26 of the frame 24 on the basis of the opening 2 of the window, the portion of the cylindrical drum 43 projecting outside the open outer face 33 of the roller shutter box 28 penetrates through the open inner face of the reservation box 4 and is housed in the latter, as represented on the Figures 14 and 15 . The box 28 is then pressed against the box 4, with the outer face 33 of the box 28 open facing the open entrance side of the box 4, by the establishment of the rack block.

Towards the interior of the room, the roller shutter box 28 is removably closed by the inner wall 31 of this box 28, which wall 31 is arranged in a inspection hatch linked by removable fastening means, such as elastic clips. 47, projecting inwardly from the inner edges of the lower walls 29 and upper 30 of the box 28, which fit into corresponding recesses formed in the lower and upper edges of the hatch 31. The latter is the only part of the box 28 which appears slightly projecting inwards, relative to the plane of the inner face of the frame 24 and / or the opening frame of the bay block. We also note (see figure 10 , 12 and 13 ) that the hatch 31 is traversed, in its side portion on the side 39 of the control mechanism of the winding-unwinding shaft 35, by a small transmission shaft 48 connecting the gimbal angle gear 40 to the mechanism 39 of drive control in rotation of the shaft 35. Given the small thickness of this door 31, the inner face of the casing 28 can be considered aligned with the inner face of the frame 24, thus ensuring a good finish on the side of the interior of the room.

It can be seen that an essential difference in the structure of the roller shutter box 28, compared with the similar box of the prior art embodiments, is that its face external 33 is open and that the apron 34 wound on the shaft 35 projects outwardly from this open outer face 33. As a result, the apron 34 wound roller shutter is protected in a box consisting, in part, by the box 28 of the shutter, and for the rest by the open chest 4 of reservation in the lintel 7, as is clear from the Figures 14 and 15 .

On the figure 15 a seal is shown at 49, simultaneously constituting a sound and heat seal, which is attached between a flange 50 of the outer edge of the upper wall 30 of the box 28, on the one hand, and, on the other hand , the inner face 17 of the lintel 7, above the upper inner edge 19 of the outer wall 8 of the reservation box 4, so above the open entrance of the box 4, this seal 49 also extending between the outer edges of the two lateral cheeks 32 and the lintel 7, on the sides of the open entrance of the trunk 4.

The figure 15 also shows that the passage slot of the deck 34 of the shutter, between the box 28 and the frame 24, and which is delimited on the sides at the junction between the slides 44 fixed inside the amounts 25 of the frame 24 and the centering tulips 45, is adjacent to the outer edge of the bottom wall 29 of the box 28, and in fact delimited over the entire width of the deck 34, between this outer edge of the bottom wall 29 and the inner edge of the flap 23 obtained by cutting the inner wall 16 of the box 4 at one of the grooves 22 and pivoting of the flap 23 around the hinge 21 until the flap 23 bears against the upper face of the uprights 25 of the frame 24, the width of this flap 23 being adjusted to the thickness of the frame 24 which, itself, is defined according to the thickness of the insulating inner lining wall of the masonry wall 1.

Thus, the installation on site of this bay unit with shutter is virtually identical to that of a bay block of the state of the art, since the only additional operations are the opening of the inner face of the trunk 4 of reservation, either by cutting the inner wall 16 in the variant of the box 4 described above, or by completely cutting the pre-cut area at the upper edge 18 of the inner wall 16 and then pivoting inwards around the hinge 21, and then cutting or breaking of this wall 16 at one of the grooves 22 chosen so that the width of the flap 23 thus obtained is suitable for delimiting, outwardly, the passage slot of the deck 34 as a function of the thickness the frame 24, and therefore the insulation, as described above.

It should be noted that the width of the two lateral flanges 32 as well as that of the upper wall 30 of the roller shutter box 28 must also be adjusted to this thickness of the fixed frame 24 and thus of the insulation, as is visible on the Figures 16 and 17 , which represent the implementation of the block-bay assembly with rolling shutter and reservation box as described above for the equipment of a window in a masonry wall lined internally with a very thick insulating wall greater than that of the previous example.

On the Figures 16 and 17 , the same reference numerals designate the same components as in the previous figures. For convenience, the seal 49 has not been shown, and it is immediately apparent that the side cheeks 32 and the upper wall 30 of the trunk 28 are wider, and the flap 23 from the cutting and pivoting of Wall internal 16 trunk 4, which, moreover, has exactly the same structure as in the previous figures, even if the tabs or hooks 9 of support and positioning of reinforcing bars 10 have been represented only on the figure 4 , for simplicity.

Due to the greater thickness of the insulating wall, as shown in FIG. figure 18 each upright 25 of the sleeping frame 24 is extended outwardly by a tap 51, and the widest width of the flap 23, relative to that of the figure 15 , corresponds to the increase in the thickness of the entire frame 24 and typed 51, so that the passage slot of the apron 34 of the shutter remains always delimited between the bottom wall 29 of the box 28 and the flap 23 This greater thickness of the insulating wall inside the masonry wall 1 also has the effect that the cylindrical drum 43 of the deck 34 wound around the shaft 35 projects less outwardly from the outer open face 33 of the box 28, and therefore penetrates less inside the open box 4. But with the exception of the flap 23 (from the cut of the inner wall 16 of the box 4), cheeks 32 and the upper wall 30 of the roller shutter box 28, the widths of which must be adapted for the reasons explained above, and uprights 25 with or without taps 51 of the frame 24, all the other elements of the block-bay assembly with roller shutter and booking box remain iden ticks, for the different possible thicknesses of insulating inner lining walls. Accordingly, it is advantageous that the cheeks 32 and the upper wall 30 of the box 28 are designed to be easily adjustable in width, and this can be achieved, at the cheeks 32, providing, substantially as for the inner wall 16 of the 4, zones frangible or scored, defined, on the height of the cheeks 32 by variations in thickness (grooves or, on the contrary, rib along which each cheek 32 can be cut). On the other hand, the supports 41 laterally doubled outwards by the cheeks 32 are not modified as a function of the thickness of the insulating wall, nor their positioning and method of attachment with respect to the lower wall 29 which supports them. , as well as the shaft 35 and the drum 43 of the rolled deck 34.

The advantages of a block-bay assembly rolling shutter and reservation box according to the invention, compared to known embodiments of the type called "tunnel box", are that the installation of the reservation box 4 does not require any special competence of the Mason, and the absence of complementary installation to the frame, because, in the case of a tunnel box, it is necessary to re-intervene after the installation of the fixed frame to fix the slides and install the shutter in the box. In addition, the risk of microcracks of the finishing plaster of the facades between the reservation box and the shell, and visible from the outside, are reduced or eliminated.

Compared with the bay block with traditional roller shutter, the advantages of the embodiment according to the invention are an almost perfect integration of the roller shutter box above the frame of the bay with a flap inspection door which does not exceed not appreciably of the opening frame (s), on the interior side of the room, this inspection hatch being able to overflow slightly on each side of the box, in order to mask the small finishing defects that are encountered around a block box classic berry.
