Claims (12)

  1. Roller shutter installation in a building opening such as a window or a door, having above it a lintel (1) comprising a reservation (2) which is open toward the interior of the building for installing, from the inside, a roller shutter (B) mounted on a winding shaft (3) supported near each end by a cheek (4, 4') attached to the upper portion of a frame (6) of a joinery, wherein
    - the reservation (2) in the lintel is also open at the bottom,
    - the cheeks (4, 4') which support the roller shutter form, with the joinery, a half frame/shutter combination unit, and the shutter housing is restricted toward the interior of the building by a plank (11) designed to be covered by internal cladding (12) which cannot be removed after finishing,
    - a removable external inspection panel (14) closes off the bottom of the reservation (2), characterized in that
    - an attachment means (15) for the external panel is connected, so as to be adjustable at least in height, to the lower portion of each cheek (4, 4'), wherein each of the transverse ends of the external inspection panel is connected to the corresponding attachment means (15).
  2. Roller shutter installation according to Claim 1, characterized in that the reservation (2) in the lintel is substantially in the shape of an inverted L.
  3. Roller shutter installation according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the attachment means (15) for the attachment of the external panel is adjustable also in a direction perpendicular to the cheek (4, 4').
  4. Installation according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the attachment means (15) consists of an end plate (16, 16') in the form of a profile having a vertical flange and a horizontal flange, the panel (14) being attached to the lower face of the horizontal flange.
  5. Installation according to Claim 4, characterized in that the end plate comprises a wall (19, 19') extending vertically underneath the horizontal flange of the profile, wherein this wall (19, 19') is pressed against a surface (T) of the opening before application of a render (20), the wall (19, 19') having a thickness (k) which is substantially equal to that of the render (20) provided for covering the surface (T).
  6. Installation according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that each cheek (4) comprises, in its lower portion, at least one cut-out (9) having parallel vertical sides provided with notches (10) which are spaced apart in the vertical direction, and the end plate (16) comprises at least one tab (18) which is perpendicular to the cheek (4) and is provided with notches which are complementary to those of the cut-out, wherein the tab (18) can be made to engage in the cut-out (9) at a chosen height, it being possible to slide perpendicularly to the associated cheek (4).
  7. Installation according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that each cheek (4') comprises, in its lower portion, at least one opening (24) having a horizontal lower edge, and the end plate (16') comprises on its face which is turned toward the cheek (4') a collection of ribs (23), in the shape of a comb, it being possible for the lower edge of the opening (24) to be slotted inbetween two ribs (23) at a chosen height for the adjustment.
  8. Installation according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the external inspection panel (14) comprises a front edge engaged in a rail (R) attached underneath the front edge of the reservation (2).
  9. Half frame/shutter combination unit for an installation according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a roller shutter (B) mounted on the upper portion of a frame (6) of a joinery (7) between two cheeks (4) attached to the joinery in order to support the roller shutter shaft (3), characterized in that the roller shutter housing is restricted toward the interior of the building by a plank (11) which is attached to the frame and is designed to be covered by the internal cladding (12) of the building, and each cheek (4) comprises, in its lower portion, an attachment means (15) which is adjustable at least in height for attaching a removable external inspection panel (14).
  10. Half frame/shutter combination unit according to Claim 9, characterized in that each cheek (4) comprises, in its lower portion, at least one cut-out (9) having parallel vertical sides provided with notches (10) which are spaced apart in the vertical direction, and the attachment means (15) is formed by an end plate (16) which comprises at least one tab (18) which is perpendicular to the cheek (4) and is provided with notches which are complementary to those of the cut-out, wherein the tab (18) can be made to engage in the cut-out (9) at a chosen height, it being possible to slide perpendicularly to the associated cheek (4).
  11. Half frame/shutter combination unit according to Claim 9, characterized in that each cheek (4') comprises, in its lower portion, at least one opening (24) having a horizontal lower edge, and the end plate (16') comprises on its face which is turned toward the cheek (4') a collection of ribs (23), in the shape of a comb, it being possible for the lower edge of the opening (24) to be slotted inbetween two ribs (23) at a chosen height for the adjustment.
  12. Method for installing a roller shutter in an opening (A) of a building, according to which there is provided in the lintel (1) a reservation (2) which is open toward the interior of the building, characterized in that the reservation (2) is open also at the bottom; a half frame/shutter combination unit is manufactured in a factory, wherein this unit comprises a roller shutter (B) mounted on the upper portion of a frame (6) of a joinery between two cheeks (4, 4') which are attached projecting forward on the joinery in order to support the roller shutter shaft (3), the roller shutter housing being restricted by a plank (11) which is attached to the frame and is designed to be covered by the interior cladding of the building, wherein each cheek comprises, in its lower portion, an attachment means (15) which is adjustable at least in height; the half frame/shutter combination unit is installed from the interior of the building; and, after each attachment means (15) has been adjusted, a removable external inspection panel (14) is installed.
