Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Feuerschutzabschlusselement (3, 2; 20) mit einem einen Hohlraum (6) umschließenden Mantel (4, 5) und einer in dem Hohlraum (6) eingefügten Isolierung (7) zur Wärmedämmung und/oder Kühlung des Mantels (4, 5) im Brandfall. Um das Feuerabschlusselement (3, 2, 20) ohne Beeinträchtigung des Brandwiderstandes kostengünstiger und umweltschonender herstellen zu können, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Isolierung (7) zur Anpassung an die entlang der Höhe (h) oder Breite (b) des Feuerschutzabschlusses (1) gesehen unterschiedliche Temperaturbeanspruchung über die Höhe (h) oder Breite (b) des Feuerschutzabschlusses (1) gesehen unterschiedlich ausgebildet ist. Außerdem wird ein vorteilhaftes Herstellverfahren für solch ein Feuerabschlusselement angegeben.
