Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lebensmittelschneidvorrichtung mit einem Schneidmittel, das zum Schneiden eines Lebensmittelprodukts entlang einer Eintauchrichtung antreibbar ist. Das Schneidmittel ist mit einem Schwingungsgenerator verbunden, durch den mechanische Schwingungen in das Schneidmittel einleitbar sind. Der Schwingungsgenerator ist an dem Schneidmittel dergestalt angeordnet oder das Schneidmittel ist derart geformt, dass die in das Schneidmittel eingeleiteten Schwingungen oder die in dem mit dem Lebensmittelprodukt in Kontakt kommenden Bereich des Schneidmittels vorhandenen Schwingungen eine Komponente senkrecht zu der Eintauchrichtung und/ oder senkrecht zu der Erstreckungsebene des Schneidmittels besitzen.
